Why not simple set the music slider to zero in the audio settings?

You need to restore the thieves guild former glory, this needs 5 random quests from vax or the other guy in each major city (other than riften) and an extra quest then for each major city - that is Solitude, Windhelm, Markath and Whiterun. Contrary to the college, you really earn the guildmaster of the thieves.

You should talk free Free-Winter, before and after you liberated Windhelm, unless you want to argue its all just in his head.

What about a bow that shoots dragons? Which are armed with a bow again.

I'd say Steam is like Facebook. You get something out of it, but its not so clear what you are all giving in return.

It is okay for an imperial officer to inspect the security of imperial settlements but it is not okay for such an officer to inspect them after a Stormcloak victory.. And seriously.. Kind of out-of-game-info. So the aliens made up their mind. Okay. Still in-game its yet open, so they might change their mind if they wanted to. I found the Daggerfall/Morrowind Lore to be quite complicated anyway, and its not bad for Skyrim to be somewhat more simple minded. Albeit it doesn't truely fit all the hints there are, I liked to think about it that way, that creating a god comes with a hugh price. The Dwemer paid their one with their genocide, the Dunmer got it a little cheaper with getting their eyes marked. In a world of magic and devines, it wouldn't even be that impossible to make a dwarf again out of some golden skin...

I played through the Imperial line and never had any quest-problems. Occasionally one of the thieves-guild auto-generated quests won't work. Well just reject that one and ask for a new one.

I think you can forget pretty much about destruction in Skyrim. If I'd make again a mage build, I'd go for conjugration/illusion. With super-high illusion you can calm almost anything in the game, might benefit from being a vampire. High alchemy so you can potion up your regens.

I think I read the thieves guild in Skyrim also offers this...even for a cheaper price than the full bounty. But since I never had myself being catched, I don't know first hand.

There is also the Drainspell Bow, Firiniel's End and Froki's Bow. But they are all "unique" not "artifact"

DRM has always been a brutal business as long there were computers, where at least as many legit costumers got injured by "friendly fire", as "copy-parasites". (for not misusing a word which means robbing ships). Steam is just the 2011 version of "What word is in page X on Line Y manual questions" in the 1980ies. Putting strange lenses and optical filtering constructs on gibberish paper , Laser Locking on CDROMs, installing root kits, altering you sector 0 (FlexNet) and destroying your Linux boot loader in the way or simply delivering broken discs that some drives they tested might just have been able to read anyway.

Since "artifact" means "made by human" every bow is an artefact. I know you refering to game use, where they got some twisted usage of "artifact", just wanting to be a smart a** here :)

I looked it up. -> Pausing the game to drink potions -> Loading the game if you die. Which is the greatest-super-power anyway. Who needs to be dragonborn and all that if you can turn back the wheel anytime even after death, and thus never fail? -> Vivec used the Construction Kit it seems to alter Morrowind. Now that would be scary if Ulfric would get access to the CK, wouldn't it? :-)

Do you have *any* hit about that sleeping giant clichè in *any* TES game? I actually think the universe exists as matrix like computer simulation, just for the entertainment of a single alien to TES-world. The whole world is stopped and reverted to previous timestamps by the sole discretion of that alien. That alien takes the role of a single character in that world and the whole world is halted when the alien is doing something else, and eventually destroyed when its bored. Some say the world is actually not really existing, and time only really runs around the character the alien plays. Furthermore the world exists multiple in a variety of shards, for different aliens and is made by other aliens for that alien, where they plot most of the story instead of it evolving on its own. Some say the disappearance of the dwemer is just by said aliens thinking it would give an interesting story, and they did not yet make up their mind what exactly happened to end - if they ever will.

Try the control panel, internationalisation and install yourself an english layout. You can fast switch between keyboard layouts with alt+shift or something like that.

I read, if you are imperial aligned, you can try to bluff your way through by wearing the imperial officer's uniform. i see, but are you sure ? how much does it take ? i returned to bleaks falls barrow about like 15 in game days later and it was still empty. Usually it takes 30 days of not visting.

Thats what it means saying he is an "asset", not an "agent" or anything like that. His cause and little civil war is useful to the Thalmor, and that gets over quite clear.

I appologize for unexactness, tabbing in and out of Skyrim is quite a hassle for me: You can talk with both as they wander of the map. They'll send you to kill the remaining stormcloak camps. But they weren't hostile to me, so I didn't. They just give you pissed lines when you stamper through one of their camps. Tullius also says, he is happy to finally have peace restored again with the Nords, but he isn't so sure about the Thalmor. I wonder someone posted when Ulfric wins, they something about "cleaning Skyrim from the lesser races", yet I miss it in the speech posted here. Is this said maybe in the after-math which has been left out by Stormcrown? Or was that other post wrong?
