  1. nvm fixed it. *leaves without saying how I fixed it so others with the same problem don't get to know how to fix it* JK. I found the culprit: Deadly Mutilation. That's what made all my length sliders disappear. As for the sliders like "Nose Scalion Width" and "Brow arch", I forgot argonians don't have those. I thought that XPSME might have something to do with it but like a derp I never checked the conflicts in MO until tonight.
  2. I am using a custom race but I've seen them on that race before. I noticed they were missing when I went to fix up my vanilla argonian because I adjusted her legs shorter so now shes floating. When I went to go fix that, those sliders were gone. Does Racemenu normaly have those sliders (leg length, finger length, etc.)? I kinda feel like they just showed up one day after I had installed racemenu. I'll give reinstalling race menu a try.
  3. At some point in the past, 1/18/18 to be exact, I had sliders in racemenu that let me adjust a billion things like "brow arch" and "ring finger length". But now I seem to have about less than a 1/5 of those sliders. I'm using UNP, and there's a UNP section in my racemenu. I couldn't help but notice that I had downloaded (but most likely not installed) bodyslide v4.4.1. I had 3.7.3 before that. I'm not seeing any conflicts in Mod Organizer for Racemenu (v3.4.5, never been changed). I'm wondering, does racemenu normaly come with those sliders? And would body slide do anything to what in-game sliders you have? I haven't messed around with my skeleton (that I can remember). I know I should be saying a lot more but I can't brain too gud right now.
  4. I'm a big fan of open source software. Mainly because I don't have a lot of money to spend. I did some research into open source video editors and in the end, I chose blender. I'm not much for words so here's a series of great tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjyuVPBuorqIhlqZtoIvnAVQ3x18sNev4 Blender's website: https://www.blender.org/
  5. I just saw a video on the Fire and Ice overhaul and I went to download it but it was hidden. I want it because it makes fire stay around for longer and that would be very helpful for me since I like to take a lot of screenshots and I have an idea for a particular shot of my char standing in front of a burning building. I know about the console comand "TFC 1". I've actually did some test shots but by the time I get the fire in the spots I want on the building and posistion my char, the first flames start to dissapear. I was just wondering if there was a way to make the fire last longer. Thanks.
  6. Fire and Ice overhaul is hidden. is there any other mod that makes fire stay around for longer than vanilla? I'm not too worried about weather or not it spreads. Kthxbai. To quote the title of a pinned post: "This ain't the place to request mods." I may be paraphrasing but I appologize. So instead I'll say, "That's a nice looking list you got there." Better Free Camera ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78389/? ) can be used to turn the hud on and off with the push of a "mappable" button. I mainly use the mod so I can take screenshots in .jpg format. I was supprised to see this next one missing: Footprints ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22745/? ).
  7. Stumbled accross this thread when trying to find some Avatar clothes for skyrim. I just downloaded the elemental spells and I need some clothes to go with it. Perferably fire nation but I'll take what I can get, if I can even get anything. BTW, the Elemental Destruction spells has an Ordinator patch.
  8. I have a set amount of data I can download every month so I always go disk if I can. And if you think game makers doing away with disks is annoying, PC case makers are starting to do away with 5.25 bays. I don't know what part of my new computer to get first: Win7 or a case.
  9. Defanatly get the legendary version of original skyrim. I'm gonna guess that a GeForce GT 525 is less than a GTX 560 ti (1 GB of vram). That's what I had in my pc when I got skyrim back in 2011 and it ran quite well at medium settings. I tried installing some high res character textures and got black skin. I found out that this is a symptom of running out of Vram. I recently upgraded to a GTX 1070 (8 GB of vram) and now I can run said character textures without issues. However, given the name of your cpu (i5-2410M) I'm gonna guess you're on a laptop and therefore can't upgrade your video card. (I will never understand why a gamer would want a laptop). But it sounds like you're getting a tower. I don't know if steam will let you transfer a game from one pc to another for free. If so, get it on your laptop and go crazy with the mods. If you don't know what CTD means, you will. I sure learnd that quick. I actually have both Legendary Edition and "Remasterd", more commonly known as "SE" (Special Edition). I have 523 HOURS on Legendary Edition and 23 MINUTES on SE. Probably the most valuable thing to skyrim modding is a little thing called "Skyrim Script Extender" or SKSE. This makes many things possible in Skyrim that couldn't be done in the vanilla game. SKSE isn't out for Skyrim Special Edition yet, but people are working hard on porting it. I'm gonna pull a number outta my butt with absolutly no research, other than my personal modding experience over the last half year and say that at least 50%-80% of the best mods require SKSE to run. One of the reasons for this is a mod called SkyUI (which requires SKSE). This mod totally revamps the in game menu system, but it also add one crucial thing: the Mod Configuration Menu, or MCM. MCM lets you configure settings the mods that come with a MCM menu. Which is most of them. Just go to the nexus skyrim page and go to the browse files section and sort by number of downloads and that will give you an idea of what to get. I think SkyUI is number 2 overall downloaded mod.
  10. I use Open Source Brodcast (OBS) for my game video recording. Took me forever to find it. No watermarks and a lot of options. Don't be fooled by it's name: It will only brodcast if you tell it to. It's also a video recorder. I combine OBS with handbreak to convert my recordings to smaller file sizes for uploading. I would like to find a free video editor because Movie Maker doesn't seem to be included with Win7. Typical micro$haft, removing features of windows that are awesome.
  11. Nvidia killed shadowplay. I think I'm gonna go with OBS (open broadcast software).
  12. I too am trying to find a good video recording solution since the one that came with the latest Nvidia driver is broken. I've searched google and found a few but didn't know anything about them. I searched these forums, which I believe are the nexus forums and found this thread on the first page, along side a bunch of seemingly unrelated threads like "buggy black books" and "roleplay or not". I came to this thread hoping to find some answers. I would like to get shadowplay by nvidia. I spent a lot of time searching for a way to get the new and broken geforce experience to work and from what i've read from people, shadowplay is far better than the new broken crap. Since I've put so much effort into this, perhaps I have earned a link to the thread you were talking about.
  13. It has been confirmed that nVidia will be making a custom gpu. It is only speculation that it will be a form of tegra x1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tegra#Tegra_X1. One of the many rumors about the switch is that it will gain more processing power when docked. I was thinking there could be another gpu in the docking base until I read about this feature of the tegra https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARM_big.LITTLE . (I cannot get that link to work for the life of me. Copy/paste time). Basicly it's the gpu has a set of less powerful, less power comsuming cores coupled with a set of more powerful, more power consuming cores. I the case of the x1 it's 4+4. This would be a perfect fit for the switch. Also, the tegra x1 can run Unreal engine 4. Just incase anyone is wondering, the x1 uses a 20nm Maxwell architecture (GM20B). tl;dr: Unreal engine 4 on the go with a hit to performance. UE4 in the dock with better performance. probably. Nintendo hasnt confimed anything about any change in performance/power when docking/undocking or what specific gpu it uses. Only that nvidia is making it.
  14. I got better free camera along with OneTweek and it works like a charm. Didnt even have to run it in windowed mode. I also did the .ini edits that the BFC instructions tell you to do. Time to spam the forums with screenshots. Not these forums of course. Not those forums either. You dont know about them. Theyre a secret.
  15. I love the poser modul. Had to uninstall Osex to make room in my animations list for many pose mods. Think i'm at about 6700 total animations.
