  1. Hi Nifs experts, I created a nif by scattering an mesh (without collision) along another one. When tested in game and in the CS, the scattered object disappear following distance and angle... If you move your point of view, it reappears... Seems random to me and I have no clue why. Object is fine in Nifskope.   2. Yup there is, hence the "You have too many followers" message top left of your screen (got it in part of my mod recently so I'm certain but can't tell what number it is". To Mojodajojo: Seems like your problem has no solution sadly. You were wondering out of curiosity or you were trying to achieve something special in your mod?

I still don't really get what you're trying to achieve. you can simply have the master instance of your NPC in a working cell, create a fullactorcopy where you need it and destroy the copy at death or when needed then recreate one etc. This way you'll have perfectly fresh CS new NPC. Of course, don't saw the branch where you sit so deletefullactorcopy should be attached to some activator (object in player's inventory) with a small timer.
  4. Yeah after a night of sleep I figured it may be simply normals. If you want I can check it tonight but I'm using Max not Blender so I can't tell you how to check normals in Blender.
  5. From What I see you have part of your mesh that is way down below the ground plane. You also haven't any collision object yet. EDIT: @collision you said so, sorry.   6. Mmm then we have to investigate as I don't know what is cleared after resurrection. If you don't mind me asking, can you elaborate on your goal?
  7. Did you check that http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/SetSceneIsComplex and particularly the "see also" part? Depending on the situation, you can try to run a script updating that... Either in your mod or on an object you carry, see what effect it has...
  8. You want to do that once or regularly in scripts or you're asking right now for your current game?
  9. Shoudln't be that hard to script. Put a script on her and check when she's in combat. Then scan the player and see if targets are similar and what to do. A bit long and complex but not impossible. It will work with the guard and with most "good'" factions.
  10. I'll spare you the reading. A big quest involving more or less every aspect of modding. It's very adult and that's a stopping point for most modders. Don't. Give it a try before judging or at least look at the comment on my page and ask yourself why we're quest number1 in endorsements and soon in downloads although we are two years behind the other ones... The blush effect in Estrus only happens if you also have EDialog installed an, I believe, EDialog uses a standard magic effect shader to apply the blush which could be useful except for one major caveat... shaders are spherically mapped onto the entire body. Makes it harder to correctly map effects onto a specific area of the body. Oh! Thanks for the explanation. Too bad, would have been cool... So the only way I can eachieve this is to create helmets with face expression/texture and force equip them one NPC at a t ime... Complex and redneck but if it works...
  15. Hi everyone, sorry had no time to fix my problem. I'll try tonight and see if I can use all the help given here. Must be some UV map issue. For the aging stuff I remember someone using it for scars. Is that what Estrus uses to make people "blush"? If we can dynamically modify the age of a NPC, we could increase the complexity of facial expressions... Cheers!
  16. Mmm I tried just a little bit to weight vertices myself and it more or less worked... Now I have specialists that have done it for me but I'll still be interested in those tutorials (for Max) you were talking about Ghogiel. Now, I was wondering: can't you create and weight your armors in one shot, export it and then simply delete entire branches with Nifskope to create the elements. That should work no?

  19. I also don't think NPCs get bounty. Guess what you have to do? It'll be cool to see some guards putting thieves in jail, that'll sure add some life to Oblivion!
  20. It's most than probably my issue too. What I don't get is that I edited Head06.nif to point to a new texture, the one that was used in the CS with the race using this texture. Then I recreate the race in my mod and added again this texture in due place. Could it be that I had to let the incorrect texture in the nif and only put the right one in the CS??? Can someone explain to me the point of having a texture in the nif if the engine replace it with the racial one anyway? Cheers!
  21. Got that a lot too. I think I used to be certain to select the face not whole body in the preview before clicking on face advance. Did you try CSE already? I just got a weird facial problem with a new race too, so we're both in the same boat now... I'll try to show what's going on with screenshots tonight, my error maybe linked to yours although I'm using CSE. If you want, mail me your mod WIP and I'll look what it does in my CS, we never know...   24. And what happened in game? Is the problem only in the CS or it does f***ed up your game too? What happened if you duplicate your NPC, modify number1 then recopy number2 (face advanced, COPY) head features into number1? I also used to have CTDs whenever I'll go to advanced face before selecting head in the preview, it maybe linked to this CS bug... Shademe may know the answer.
