  1. download manually..i guess nmm has an option to install an already downloaded mod i use wb.
  2. i see this...you have a patch for ordiantor way at the top..how can that work...all patches should below it. first ord, then apo, then the pacth.....
  3. thsi great, be aware of this........ say i have mods a, b, c, d, everything works fine...then i add mod e, adn it crashes.....most ppl would say mod e is the culprit,..but..but... lest say mod b changes something weird in that chest....since you dont go there, ann nothing uses it, np..now we add mod e and happen to go there, and mod e doesnt know how to handle that stuff,,,expect something else, crash.........see the problem? that makes it soo dang hard to really find the culprit, without using the right tools...you have to be aware of the dependencies beteween the mods. and thats why i run with not too many mods..say about 20 or so..carefully selected. just be aware of it.......usually its easier , luckily you have some tricky stuff in , i would say, meaning heavy mods. good luck..you will get it eventually, and you will only learn in the process.
  4. if you remove a mod, the save can get corrupted, you should be aware of that. yopu need to go back then to a save before you added that mod.....altho some mods can be safley removed. be sure to read the descriptions. mods are an awesome addition, but need to be used with care. good luck. my advice, go totally back to vanilla , make sure that runs fine, and start adding mods 3 or so at a time, do the saves and note what you do, if you have to fall back. yes it takes some doing, but it can be very illuminating that way, also watch the proper loadorder. good luck
  5. Apologist... great. Just what I needed. or don't release an extremely buggy mod. Nexsus isn't a testing site. I know not all bug cant be found all at once and mostly with help from the community. But damn. Corrupt a save on load??? I didn't constantly add and remove which you are implying. I read the descriptions, post from commenters, bug lists, boot load orders, etc. How cant I test stuff out when they crash my save on load, dill weed. The game will be blamed a lot. It was released buggy, patched buggy, remastered buggy and modded buggy. I would like at least one of those to not be. The game itself isn't bad. Internally coded, it is. So THINK before YOU SPEAK. I will take this as my TOPIC ANSWER. 'It was released buggy, patched buggy, remastered buggy and modded buggy" nah, nonsense, the game is exceptionally stable here, just one crash after 22 hours. i am sorry , but i just dont have all the problems ppl describe....... and most of them happens to be caused by an error at the userside.
  6. ???/ jsut download manually and install then via nmm, doing that all the time, adn i never have probs with that.
  7. why not give the wrye bash a chance, at least that one works..and yes it s not the most userfriendly, but it has good helpfiles..
  8. i cant, saw it on a thread coming by thats all. ( i am not interested myself in it) but i bet its on nexus, try the categories, to narrow search down.
  9. give us one example? so we can looky look ourselves.
  10. well if thats the loadorder, no wonder, ussep should be way up. ( just to state one) to really find it you need to do quite a bit of work. first get vanilla, with ussep working well, than add mods in say bacthes of 3...checking everytinme if it still works..and so on and on. yes its a work..... or use a proven method like step..there is a guide now starting for the se version, but even there you need to c keck if everyting is ok in stages. or copy a proven modlist . just plunging in a lot of mods and expecting it to run well....usualy that approach wont work. smim is a suspect one..it does soo much and you have several quite heavy mods......start easy with the mods and then up the ante if all goes well.
  11. use the wrye bash installer..but eh its not the most userfriendly thing....but way more control over stuff.
  12. did you try it without any mods at all, that the firts thing, ther eis nothing worng with that quest. but dumping in a lot of mods is not going to work, unless you know what you are doing. start vanilla and add mods maybe 3 at a time , check if it still runs..thats how you use mods safely......
  13. you need to start vanilla and check if all goes right, then add slowly maybe 3 or 5 at a time them mods and check if all is still ok. you cant just throw in lotsa mods and expect it to run properly.
  14. really, how do you know? just removing smim says nothing.only when you use vanilla and smim as only mod and it crashes than its sure that mod. look say we have mods a, b, c, d, and all runs fine, now i add e, and it crashes..almost everyone will give e as the culprit, but.. but.. say mod b, removes something, the mods c, d dont use that item so np...but add e, it needs the item and crash..so it was b the culprit and this is what can make debugging sometimes very very difficult..very often its the interaction between mods that can be a problem. see it as a bucket with many mnay drops, at some time it overflows...but thats not just the last drops cause, all them drops contribute. i would be very carefull saying this or that mod is bad......... and oh yes smim can be a very heavy mod..adding soo much more triangles that all need to be rendered. lemme say further, i have been a professional programmer so i do know a lil bit, just a lil.
  15. use wb? yeah i know, its not so userfriendly, but sofar it seems very ok.
  16. disable lensflare? godrays can have a very way tooo much lighting things up effect.with both turned of i have never a washed out look.
  17. for load order, i use my head.....read the mods descripion thoroughly and determine with some common sens where it should go, i never add more than 3 at the same time tho.
  18. ho yes , yes and yess , i def agree to that. mods add soo much.
  19. all the dlc is included, no worries there.
  20. my advice, go easy on the mods..add them in stages and test out if it still works. mod use, is the users responsability. hint, some ppl show proven lists..those are great for starting point, to see what goes with what.
  21. for the snow, disable snow shaders, and use the nordic snow mod..its really fabullous. a different water mod helps with the water, i use realistic water and love it.
  22. disable godrays and lensflare, put maxshadow resolution at 1024...and boom it zingssss
  23. [Camera] fOverShoulderCombatAddY = -15.0000 //When weapon is out: zoom in/out fOverShoulderCombatPosZ = -10.000 //When weapon is out: height fOverShoulderCombatPosX = -35.0000 //When weapon is out: left/right distance from the center fOverShoulderPosZ = -10.0000 //When weapon is NOT out: height fOverShoulderPosX = 0.0000 //When weapon is NOT out: left/right distance from the center fOverShoulderHorseAddY = -200.0000 //While on horse: zoom in/out fOverShoulderHorsePosZ = 75.0000 //While on horse: height fOverShoulderHorsePosX = 0.0000 //While on horse: left/right distance from the center fMouseWheelZoomMinDelta = 0.000 //Not sure what it does exactly fMouseWheelZoomSpeed = 14.0000 //Speed of the zooming in/out fMouseWheelZoomIncrement = 0.6000 //Increments, not sure how it does work, but currently it's 3 steps, min, med, max. Proportional with Min/Max VanityModeDist fVanityModeMinDist = 80.0000 //Min distance from the character (min zoom out) fVanityModeMaxDist = 240.0000 //Max distance from the character (max zoom out) fPitchZoomOutMaxDist = 0.0000 //Set to zero so when looking down the camera won't go further away here are the camsettings and they work. are you sure you put them in the correct ini......???? these are to be put in skyrim.ini...NOT the pref one, and it should be located in your documents folder. good luck
  24. well if you test it on a system that has that service shut down, there is no issue. there is no way you can test everything with the gaziilion of options on our pc-systems. and thats why forums are impootant to help ppl who have issues. for me the game is ridiculous stable, in over 20 hours play, not one crash. but i am on win 8.1....and staying until this puter dies, hehe
  25. also , are you sure the loadorder is correct? mods shoudl be added in small groups and then testing to see if all still works. the use of mods is the players responsibility.
