    Rom Check Fail.

    So my best mate came down from uni to visit me today and showed me this INSANE little indie game he'd found called Rom Check Fail, which essentially seems to be a crazy mashup of about 12 arcade classics, but trust me that does not sum it up, the only way to understand is to play it! doing things like shooting goombas with the ship you have in asteroids or goin all pacman on some space invaders, all of it switching up every few seconds, literally one of the craziest games ive played, and its so good its consumed a fair chunk of my evening now, and i dont intend to stop playing either!

    Diablo 2 Lords of Destruction

    been playing diablo 2 since before LOD even came out! using proper old school mods for it too :D.....and i still play it to this day, ive had several level 99's and my dads had even more, surprisingly a big part of my childhood was spent sitting watching him slay legions of demons xD between us we've seen almost every unique in the game thats possible to drop lol, and collected them in an infinite shared stash between our characters (we use plugY, an absolutely essential mod for anyone who spends weeks or even months looking for every unique possible :) )

     

    never played it online though, always single player ^^

    i must im a little surprised and rather disappointed when i found out the rep system had gone, but i can understand the reasoning and at the end of the day, Dark0ne gets the decision :P

     

    but id just like to chime in and say that the rep system on the nexus was one of my favourite features :P and i am sad to see it go :P

    im glad the nexus is starting a legend of grimrock nexus, cause not only is it cool to have support for a brilliant new game (havent played, but it looks brilliant!) but this is doubtless to give it more coverage and get the word out to gamers that it exists :)

     

    i for one will be buying it!

     

    @hector530 just means you gotta make the boobs so mahoosive that you can see them in first person! xD

    hey Dark0ne hope your well, thanks for all you do for us! its more appreciated than you could ever know!

     

    loved the pants analogy too, couldntve put it better myself, bethesda are great, but when they do things like that it can certainly be a pain as you've proven :)

     

    good luck in sorting things out and once again thank you for all your hard work, i hope you had a good (if brief) holiday!

    :) glad to be of help, its applicable to any character all you need is their id i recommend looking up that uesp link as it has lots and lots of useful commands on there:)

     

    and yeh its not that hard to make an esp, but its useful to know the commands so you dont need to go to the hassle of using the CK or if you wanna be able to toggle it on and off nice and easily :)......also UFO has a feature where you can make any follower essential via dialogue! as well as various other useful follower tweaks :D

    its really very easy, simply open wrye bash find the bashed patch (or follow the procedure listed in the wrye bash manual to create one, there are also various tutorials) and once you've got a bashed patch, just right click on it, select rebuild patch, then you'll have a new screen, go to the levled lists part on the left, then click import and add the relevant mods! build the patch and move it down the plugin list so its after most things activate it and you good to go! nice and simple

     

    there are all sorts of other useful features that wrye bash has :) you can even merge mods together in it so you dont need to use as many esps :)...theres plenty of documentation on wrye bash around :)

     

    hope that helps ya man :)....wrye bash is a great utility! also using BOSS in conjunction can help as it not only auto orders your mod list it tells you which mods to merge in the leveled list parts

    i think your missing the point gasti89 :P

     

    and yes it is a nice fun relaxing hobby, but can you honestly say you wouldnt make more mods if you got a small amount of money for it? bad as it is its human nature, and anyway people make mods without expecting money, we're a big community here, and we do it for the benefit of everyone, not so much ourselves, if we just made mods for ourselves there wouldnt be any mods up on the nexus, its the community that drives mod creation, we do it to make eachother happy!

    hey guys, i was just wondering if it would be possible for you to put a quick list of things your gonna change in skyrim, e.g. leveled lists, spawn points, amount of spawns, new monsters? and other such things, because if that was up then modders could have a quick look and see if there is anything they could offer your team, which is my main idea behind it, because im not exactly sure what you'll be doing with this so it'd be nice to have an idea so that i could see what i can help you guys with, if indeed anything :)

    I appreciate whatever I get considering how buggy the CK is... and the content is free. Honestly if I made $ back for the time I put into these mods I'd probably be more motivated... and my mom wouldn't think the time I invested in this hobby is stupid.

     

    At least we can accept donations now. Though I don't blame anyone for not wanting to spend money. But even if people did charge for mods... everything you buy would be more content than any saints row 3 "DLC" that came out (they tried making customers pay money to use the cheat codes that they intentionally disabled from the game!)

     

    HAH, that sounds like my mum xD...whenever im like, hey i made a mod mum!...she always goes, well can you make some money for it?....or hey mum i wrote a guide to help people....well can u make money for it....its so stupid xD.

     

    also i agree on the money aspect xD...whilst i love the nature of mods being free, i'd be a hell of a lot more motivated to make mods if i got 1p per person who got it xDD (especially as if you think, some mods get like 100,000 downloads, which would be £1000!!!)....but hey the nature of modding is mod for the sake of it! and its a free community based thing :)...which is amazing considering how greed driven most of modern society is :P...
