  1. There are a lot of enbs some enb's are not very friendly for performance but they look pretty like Snapdragon and then there is the low end like project enb. I would check out some youtube videos on differences. I will tell you I run Rudy enb and I use it because I can run it a long side 400 mods at 60fps and it looks great. What kind of tech are you running?
  2. Trust me clone it, no matter the disk space. I just checked last week and a Crucial 500gb SSD is right now 57 dollars on Amazon hell I might buy another one. Can't even begin to tell you how many times Skyrim has crashed hard on me where I HAD to clone the SSD back a real lightsaver. After you install more mods go back and reclone it always keep a fresh copy of your OS handy cause you never know. Make sure you are only cloning to the same PC everytime as drivers and such are dependent what's on the SSD.
  3. might go into the xbox one hacking forums and see if you can FTP into it without getting into any trouble.
  4. I once transfered all skyrim files to another computer, document files, data files, mods, everything and it did work but that was long ago. I have over 500 saves, 4000 hours logged on Skyrim massive settlements created, 400 installed mods and 290 GB of dedicated data to this game. So what I recommend for you to do is get your new SSD, get Acronis true image and clone your whole SSD on your pc right now. I always keep a backup of my PC in case Skyrim dumps on me and it has in the past so I can quickly change SSD's then clone that one back to the other one it has saved me many many times. Acronis will make a duplicate copy of your ssd nmm, LOOT everything, give it a try.
  5. I've done it before long ago and it worked, but it's not the same for everyone good luck.
  6. #1 check your shadow settings in steam make sure it's not on ultra #2 make sure Skyrim is using your dedicated GPU
  7. Try to reload a prior save, could be your d3d file is corrupt. Why it's always important to have a backup of your whole SSD in case this happens. Whenever you see this type of bug it's pretty significant in other words very broken. You can also do a file check through steam to try to recover bad files.
  8. If you really care about running your Skyrim stable like in Whiterun my advice to you is to go through each mod and disable it then try to get close to whiterun see which one is the culprit. You have script heavy mods also which might be conflicting with each other near white run. Also, try dumping all your inventory somewhere far from whiterun and enter it. I always try to load a save that works no matter now far it goes I have over 1000 saves kid you not and I always find one that works fine before everything got fubared. Try savetool also to clean up your save. GL bro I know how it is, been there a thousand times.
  9. GOpher to the rescue...and yes SKSE already implements some memory allocation fixes. watch this and this IF you are trying to get past the memory limitations of Oldrim do everything in the second video and you should be good to go.
  10. You can also download the mod "convenient horses' go into it's MCM menu and activate "script latency test" and check your MS...should be very low. Certain mods like Frostfall will give you lots of script latency. Uninstalling mods without cleaning the scripts with a savetool will also give you script errors/latent if left unchecked. I finally got rid of my script latency long ago by uninstalling frostfall sad but true.
  11. Well if they are followers you can give them any armor you want but that armor needs to have bodyslide files. Seems like a lot of work but yes you can do it. For example you can create the body you want with bodyslide, take those tri files and put them in the followers files unless that follower is using the female files then your fine. You then have to into bodyslide, chose the body, pair it up with the armor and bodyslide the armor, again a lot of work but yes you can. I usually just stick to one body then use EFF to change the body by using the tattoo options under the wheel...extensible followers framework, and I also stick to one body usually a custom one that I built.
  12. The other mod that I had in mind is Pocket Empire Builder...its on nexus
  13. If you combine these 2 mods with lakeview manor MOD in the same area you can build a huge fort. I built one and it even has a launching pad way up in the trees for my flying ship mod forget the name?? but anyways these 2 are great mods..need a good PC tho.
  14. There are 2 mods that let you build homes among other things..... Tundra defense and Pocket empire builder try them out. Not sure if either of these are it but you can build structures also I believe.
  15. That's not true. If you only had 5 mods installed, depending on which 5 they were you would DEFINITELY need a bashed patch, and I will list a prime example 1) Immersive Weapons 2) Immersive armors 3) unofficial patch 4) Vilja 5) Helgen Reborn He has 4 of the 5 mods installed - so yes, in my opinion, he does need a bashed patch Not only are those some of the most popular mods on the nexus, they are used by almost everyone during a play through EVERY one of those mods has leveled lists, some have scripts, and others have AI packages Making an open broad statement like you did is VERY bad advice to someone who is new to modding Also, I 100% agree with this, below #1 rule - You NEVER uninstall a mod during a play through, and uninstalling multiple mods is just asking for your game to break I've uninstalled over 100 mods during playthroughs I have 322 mods installed, 255 plugins and an SSD with 200GB of mods installed and beaten the game at least 10 times by now with the same saves. So I don't know where you guys get this "don't uninstall mods during playthroughs from" A modded Skyrim is all about installing and uninstalling mods...like that's all we do. Be smart about uninstalling mods and you will be fine. Use save tools. Don't delete saves, etc etc.
  16. Just by glancing at your mods list I can tell you... you have one of the most heaviest scripting mod and that's frostfall then you have 3dnpc and immersive patrols which all have scripts. You can go into each file and see if the mod has a script folder I would say 1/4 of your mods do maybe more. Scripting takes a lot of CPU power download "convenient horses" off Nexus and go to it's menu options in convenient horses there is a scripting monitoring tool..run it and tell us what you get. It will give you a readout in Mseconds.
  17. I am running 322 mods with 255 plugins fairly stable. I have many mods merged with merge plugins. I suppose I can keep going. Like many have said the limit is 255 plugins but you can circumvent that if you want like many of us do.
  18. My guess is your graphics are being produced by the CPU? If so you are on borrowed time my friend and your laptop is either 1. overheating or 2 running out of GPU memory or in your case CPU power. Here is what you can do to find out. Download Skyrim Performance Monitor. Run it....check to see what's hitting 100%. One one hand you have the CPU trying to crank out all the scripts of the game to include your mods and on the other hand you have the CPU trying to crank out all the graphics...something's gotta give.
  19. check out Gopher's videos on extending memory with patches should fix your problems...youtube
  20. I've been using Tundra defense for like hmm 4 years something like that but you can build lot s of kool stuff. I combined it with another mod forget what the other one is called. Dont want to launch NMM so I can check the other mod but Tundra defense is amazing but you need a very good CPU and GPU to run tundra defense.
  21. http://i66.tinypic.com/2zs1ddu.jpg Everytime I want to change the body of my character which is the Lunari race. I just copy those files you see there in the picture. I copy all of those then I past them into my Lunari race female folder. I then run FNIS just to make sure. I've been doing this since Bodyslide was made available for the UNP body. If you copy those files all of them to your race folder you shouldn't have any issues unless the Succubus race is incompatible with bodyslide or those files...I am not sure about that because i am unfamiliar with the succcubus race might want to ask in the suc forums see if you can find your answer in there. I never mess with the HKX files.
  22. So your making a body with bodyslide? If so then after you create the body go back into the character assets folder and you will find body feet hand and their TRI files. Find your characters Female folder and drop those files in there you should now have the custom body you made. That is how I do it. Backup everything just in case something gets fubarred. Because I have been modding Skyrim since Day one I keep an SSD with a back up of my current SSD in case something breaks in SKyrim. Also are you using like I said a custom race or just the face in game?
  23. I just deleted my Witcher 3 GOG game. I installed 10 mods merged 2 with script merger has tons of errors couldn't resolve them and deleted my game. This game is not very good for modding. My Skyrim has 400 mods with over 8000 scripts without any issues. severely disappointed.
  24. I'm not surprised how many threads start with scripting or scripts......geez what's going on here. I modded Witcher 3 when it first came out and it wasn't this bad. I just deleted my game because of script errors.....what a disaster.
  25. Nice to know.... Do you know what your MS's are with convenience horses? Just curious how long is your lag for papyrus...and 9gb of vram usage is crazy how long can you play like that? I currently have 400 mods installed with a 8700K and 1080
