  1. You should probably look for sex-related mods over at loverslab
  2. Don't think the man brought it up because of it being an issue, we're just discussing. One can look at regular sports and see that men's football is a heck of a lot more popular than women's football even though the women can perform. It's just an interest mainly held by men and there's nothing wrong with that. Same with this topic, I wouldn't exactly call it an issue but I wouldn't mind seeing more women in eSports or gaming in general. The subject isn't favored toward either gender, it's just about how good you are, same with every sport.

    Need help.

Greetings and welcome to the forums! Seeing as you wish to ask around about certain mods, you should do so in the appropriate place. That would be the Nexus Site Forums which can be found here. In this list you can find every game the Nexus hosts on their site. From the home forum page, it can be found here: Happy forum-ing!
  4. Hm, that's strange. I wrote a pretty lengthy response to this comment a day ago but it somehow never got posted. Oh well. I think it's a combination of all the things you mentioned but also perhaps not being able or have the patience to deal with toxic mod users. I've seen several popular mod's comment section being filled with comments from mod users who are being abusive or just upright obnoxious because they failed to read the description and thus failed to install the mod correctly. "Your mod broke my save thanks alot asshole!" or "This mod is full of bugs and glitches DON'T DOWNLOAD!". I'll tell you, Arthmoor is an incredibly patient and understand guy considering it seems to me he deals with this constantly. Mod users commenting that his mod is the reason x problems start showing up, when in fact it's the user who failed to install the mod properly. Lack of appreciation and uncooperative mod users who's problems is apparently always the mod authors fault. This coupled with not getting enough appreciation when a considerable amount of time has been put in, can cause someone to get a sense of "what's the point anymore?". Which I can understand. Not on the nexus I don't think, but I follow Nexusmods on facebook and they showcase new and potentially cool mods with a short description of what the mod does. It's not exactly a Hall of Fame but it's nice they do it.
  5. When someone say they "retire" from modding, I assume it's a mod author who is announcing he is no longer going to be making mods. I can't imagine someone who is simply using mods would announce they retire from modding. I couldn't care less if you use mods and I couldn't care less if you don't use mods. Simple.
  6. "Gaming" or "eSports" is a very male dominated genre, where female "gamers" are somewhat uncommon, at least to most people. I know a few women who play games fairly regularly but the word "girl gamer" is not how I would describe them. That word is mostly used, in my experience and opinion, to describe women who stream themselves playing games where the focus isn't on their skill, but on how good and sexy the woman looks. When it comes to interest in gaming, I don't care about gender, I only care about if you're entertaining to play with and if you're any good at it. A chick who likes games are just a chick who likes games, and vice versa. It's not that big a deal. Yes. No. Absolutely. I would think a "serious" gamer is someone who spends considerable amount of their free time to play games and do it on a regular basis. Someone who has a sense of passion and real interest for it. I guess many guys don't believe women can't be that serious and dedicated about it. I would disagree, obviously. Because the majority of "gamers" are male. They see gaming and games as interests of men, the same way fashion and beauty products are interests of women. They can't really see how a woman would be interested in something that mostly men are interested in. And because the majority of professional "gamers" are male, that only goes to show that women can't "keep up" or "compare" as it were. They're mistaken of course, but that's the reality. I would like to preface this by saying this is all my experiences and opinions on the matter. I can be mistaken.

    HI!

Could you specify what type of error messages you receive? The site recently changed format but chances are it's something minor that can be easily fixed.
  8. Talos. A man made god. He wasn't born a god to begin with, he achieved divinity by conquering all of Tamriel and creating the Legion. He earned his place in the pantheon with strength and will.
  9. It is the only way. You make a post here asking for the closure of your account, and once that's done you can make a new account, but not before. It's against the rules to have more than one account.

    HI!

Welcome to the forums! I hope your stay is somewhat pleasant. If you are unsure about how to use NMM, I recommend watching some video tutorials. I recommend watching Gopher's videos since he goes into detail about everything and it's very simple to follow. Have a good day!
  11. If I remember correctly, Nexus Mod Manager needs to be installed in the same general location as your games. So if you have Witcher installed in C: then NMM also needs to be installed there. Once you have downloaded the mod through NMM, you need to install the mod. A general rule of thumb is that you understand the software before you use it, so if you're not sure how to use NMM, I recommend you watch a few videos on the subject. I recommend Gopher's videos since he covers everything and his instructions are easy to follow.
  12. Hm, must've been a minor bug in the site, it seems to be fixed now.
  13. Looks fine to me. The reason it says "Unknown" or "Not specified" is because you haven't entered in your real name or country.
  14. DreamBurrows Regal Huntsman Armor by DreamBurrow.
  15. Open picture in paint (or any other similar software) and black out the parts you don't want to show
  16. Actually, Norton is pretty good. It used to be f*#@ing terrible but it's really improved over the years. And I've already payed for a full year, so eh, it does the job.
  17. I've had the same desktop wallpaper for about 3 years.
  18. Constructive criticism of the new site layout is to be directed here. If you have any, that is.
  19. Now playing lots of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege
  20. I actually managed to solve it just the other day, the process of which you mentioned. The gif became around 60 frames so I had to select each individual frame and then change the opacity that way. It was a tedious (and to me, an unnecessarily long) process. I got the result I wanted but it just seems it should be a lot simpler than that. Thanks for the reply.
  21. Hi there. This post is targeted to those who have experience in creating gifs. I'm at the moment trying to create something similar to this gif. Now, I have looked around how you go about making the flag transparent but all posts I see claim it's not possible for a gif to have transparency in it. In the gif I have linked to, the one I am trying to recreate, the flag is obviously transparent, meaning it is possible. I have all the material I need and I also have Photoshop, which should be sufficient enough to create what I want. Essentially what I want to know is how you would go about making the flag transparent so that if you have a picture behind the frames, it would show. Thanks.
  22. They're not. It will be available for a few more weeks then it's gone, so you're going to have to deal with it.
  23. Well, sounds like you've decided. Maybe you'll learn to deal with it atleast.
