  1. Please would someone be good enough to create a mod that adds the FN MAG to the game, a belt fed squad support weapon, designated by the US military as the M240 and the British military as the L7A2 General Purpise Machine Gun. There is a limited number of belt fed machine guns, I've searched Nexus and to my suprise, I cannot find a mod that adds this weapon anywhere. Can we have some more love for belt fed machine e guns. There seems to he a gap between assault rifles and heavy weapons, and I think the adding the MAG would be a good choice for a heavy weapon that's light enough to be carried and used in the same way as smaller LMG's. Thanks
  2. Please could someone please make a Brotherhood of Steel replacer for the PMC Operator Pack using one of the camo textures and make it available on Xbox. There are other faction replacers available, but not BoS strangely. This one already exists on nexus, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/73850 but the OMA does not accept messages, so I can't ask him to port it, or permissions to port it, and there aren't any open permissions for porting to console. Could a DC Guard replacer also be made, perhaps in navy blue, to reflect them being security rather than military Thanks
  3. There are currently a lot of outfit replacers for the minutemen available at the moment, some which are excellent, some that don't work so well. I really like the modern tacticool look of the current vibe of minutemen replacers and other outfit mods. However, every mod I've seen that does this, there is one glaring issue that no one seems to have addressed. All the outfits are very clean and shiny. This is all well and good and the modders who create these are all very skilled at what they do, but the game is set over 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse. Let's face it, military gear and uniforms are not going to be clean, shiny and new, and npc's aren't going to be able to pop down to the dry cleaners to get their outfits all cleaned and pressed again. They're going to to be dirty, ripped torn, worn patched, stitched. They'll look like they've been scavenged from a military base, and be well used, not plucked off the production line. So, this is where my idea comes in. The Minutemen are not the BOS. Albeit they have a chain of command and are organised, they are a militia, not a professional army. I think they need outfits to reflect this. The minutemen still need military style outfits, but outfits that look like they've been scavenged, rather than produced. Cut ups and mashups of the dirty versions of the vanilla army fatigues, military fatigues, submariner uniform trousers, minutemen outfit and flannel shirts. Mismatches of hats and helmets, including FAST helmets, berets, grey knit caps and milita hats. And to give them that "tacticool" look, give them dirtied up modern style plate carriers and chest rigs. Basically, give the minutemen that military feel, but have their outfits dirty and mismatched, so they look like a militia equipped with scavenged gear, who've been out in the s#*!, not sitting in some fancy airship. Or you could get an existing mod, and create a dirtied up version, with differeing head gear. In all my searching, I've never found a mod that does this.
  4. Would it be possible to take the armour (vests, pouches harnesses ets) contained within the Modern Firearms mod by Idlesheep, and create a standalone mod with just the armour? https://mods.bethesda.net/en/fallout4/mod-detail/2723575 Thanks
  5. Would someone be able to make a mod that replaces all minutemen outfits with the outfits from the EvTital's PMC 3.0 mod, and make it available to port to Xbox. There is already one available on beth.net, along with BOS and Raider replacers, but they don't work, the characters spawn naked, wearing just the vest and helmet. Could someone create a version that works? If someone's willing to do it, could they make it so the minutemen spawn in the woodland camo outfits with OD vests and helmets, Thanks
  6. Sorry for the late reply, Thanks for getting back to me, but it would appear that the person I'm after has fallen off the planet. They have disappeared along with all their mods, so I guess the reason I wanted to contact them is now redundant. But thanks anyway
  7. Would someone be able to create a mod that adds the outfits and armour from the Colonial Marines, as seen in the Aliens movie, with a Minutemen replacer. I watched this movie recently, and I thought that the colonial marine outfits and armour kind of looked a bit like a futuristic version of the US Vietnam era military uniform. I thought this would be perfect for the fallout lore and would look great on Minutemen, being futuristic, but not overly hi tech, unlike the BOS, who have hi tech everything. In fact with the movie being made in the 80's, a lot of the technology in the movie, would fit in well with the fallout lore. Could the outfits and armour be made modular, so you get the outfit, which acts as an underarmour, and then have the armour and helmets as separate piece, so it can be mixed and matched with other outfits if desired. Could there also ge a couple of mat Swaps for the outfits, like standard green camo, as seen in the movie, but also a desertised version, and a snow camo version. Thanks
  8. What have the following types of mods all got in common: SA58, SIG MCX, G3, G36, etc etc? They are all fantastic mods, However, the problem I find, is that they come with sooooo many different attachments, 20 different sights, 30 different handguards, muzzle attachments, 15 different magazines, 20 different stocks. It's great if you like all the variety, but the issue I have, is take Sig MCX for example, I build say three or four different versions, for example, I'll have one for stealth, one for CQB, a standard mid range, and a DMR. After building these, I've only used 30% - 40% of all the options available, so now I'm stuck with a mod, where 60% - 70% of available options remain unused. If the mod is say for example 120 mb, that's say what, 70 wasted megabytes on models and textures that remain unused. It may not seem a big deal to PC gamers, but to Xbox players, they need to to save every megabyte of space they can. There already exists an AK47 mod, an AK5C, and an MCX. The mods are basic, you get the weapon, one or two different attachments, and they're only around 30mb, great if you want just an AK74 or just an AK5C, without hundreds of attachments that you'll never use. Could we have more standalone mods like these? An M16, or an M16 with M203 attachment, an RPK, basic weapon mods with, a couple of different sights, a couple of mat Swaps and a suppressor, for people who just want a basic weapon without having to cycle through hundreds of attachments?
  9. This mod is available on bethesda.net, but currently only the vanilla version https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/58393?tab=files Would someone be willing to port the CBBE files from this mod as a patch for xbox (don't worry, it's SFW, it's technically just an armor mod) Thanks
  10. Is there any chance of someone creating an M203 grenade launcher attachment for the MK18, doesn't have to be a working one, just aesthetic, if a working ones not possible. I just think underslung grenade launchers look badass
  11. There are tonnes of mods that retexure the army and military fatigues, but I can't find anything suitable that makes simple changes to them. Would someone be willing to create a mod that adds versions of the army and military fatigues, that are topless, Sleeveless, have rolled up sleeves, are unbuttoned, unbuttoned with rolled sleeves / sleeveless, etc. Would it also be possible to create a minutemen replacer (withe CBBE support) using this idea as well, because I'd like the minutemen to look like a ragtag militia, using military gear, akin to soldiers in the Vietnam War, as this style best suits the games lore, rather than a bunch of farmers using granddad's old shotgun. I'm aware that there is already a mod out there that adds Vietnam era uniforms, but I wanted to keep it lore friendly, plus the vietnam uniform mod it's male only, replaces the male body, and the minutemen replacer for this mod contains some kind a script extender, so it's not suitable for xbox. The OMA for the minuteman replacer is unable to make the changes required to make it suitable for an xbox port because of other commitments. However, he has given permission for someone else to do this. a screenshot can be provided if required. Being an old console user, I lack the technical knowledge and even the hardware to do this myself. Thanks.
  12. Would it be possible for someone to retexture the combat armor to make it look more rugged. I'm thinking of something that improves the look of the Combat Armor, to make it mor like modern "tacticool" armor but keeping it true to the lore. Perhaps thin it out slightly, so you don't look morbidly obese when it's worn, add a combat knife to a shoulder holster, a few front pouches like ammo pouches and a med kit, some flares, a shemagh around the neck, etc. Just so it looks like it's worn by actual soldiers, and doesn't look like it's just rolled off an assembly like. Would it also be possible to port to Bethesda if someone's willing to do this. Thanks
  13. Would someone be willing to create an armor replacer for the minutemen so they all wear the UNSC Marines BDU and port it to Bethesda.net for xbox. https://mods.bethesda.net/en/fallout4/mod-detail/4310692 I like this mod, because it straddles the line between modern armor replacers such as the BSAA, PMC and the COD, replacers, and more futuristic armors quite well, so it fits nicely into to games aesthetics. Thanks
  14. Hi, would it be possible to create a Minutemen replacer patch for the Vietnam War Gear mod for xbox, so all minutemen spawn in the clothing and armour from this mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/38006 https://mods.bethesda.net/en/fallout4/mod-detail/4097191 I'm aware there is already one on Nexus, but it has SPID, (not sure what that is, but i'm led to believe is some kind of Script Extender) so it's not suitable for Xbox. The armour and clothing are also male only, so it may need to be tweaked for use by female characters. Thanks
  15. OK, so again, there are a wealth of modern military tactical outfit mods on Nexus and Bethesda. And to the mod authors credit, most of these are incredible mods with a lot of attention to detail. However, these awesome mods don't fit the lore of Fallout. I've been struggling to find a mod that adds simple, lore friendly, military themed outfits. Yes, I'm aware of mods such as Militarized Minutemen and Gunner Armour Expansion, and yes, these are also incredible mods, but they are also huge, with hundreds of possible outfit combinations and I'm aware of all the mods that retexture the army and military fatigues so they have real world camo patters. What I'm struggling to find, is a mod that adds just a few lore friendly military mashup outfits. Because let's face it, after 200 years, most of the remaining military bases would have been picked clean of any decent high-grade weapons and equipment and of those pieces that did survive the war, they'd be 200 years old, so they'd have some significant wear and tear. I'm also pretty sure you can't just stroll down to your local supermarket and pick up a full set of Tier 1 operator weapons and equipment. So what I think would be a great mod for those who want to keep things lore friendly, but still run a military veteran style build, is a mod that adds maybe 5 or 6 military outfits, that are a mash up of vanilla military outfits, with a few extras thrown in. Outfits that look like they've been cobbled together from bits that have been gathering dust in an old war vet's garage and bits that have been scavenged from the wasteland army surplus stores. Outfits that show their age, with wear and tear, so they are dirty and dusty, not pristine. Basically, outfits that make you look like a character from a cheesy 80' action movie, or if worn by a group, they'd look like a ragtag militia, Basic outfits could be things like mash ups and retextures of fatigue trousers, with a t-shirt, a pair of fatigue trousers thats topless, or with a sleeveless top (so you can look like Arnie in Predator or Commando) fatigue trousers with a civvie jumper or a thick jacket. mismatched camo fatigue trousers and shirts, fatigue shirts and jeans. You could have different textures for the fatigue trousers and shirts like camo, Olive Drab, Tan, for deserts and white, for snowy weather, for variety. And to complete the look, accessories that have been cobbled together with whatevers lying around, like ammo and grenade bandoliers, utility belts with pouches, and canteens, kevlar vests, baseball caps, headbands, bandanas that are worn over the head, like Tom Berenger's character in Platoon, old helmets that have goggles strapped to them, and packs of smokes etc, like Vietnam style.
  16. There are so many "tacticool" armour and weapon mods out there on Nexus and Bethesda that you can easily make your character look like everything from an SAS Squaddie or a Delta or SEAL operator, to a Royal Marine or Army Ranger. But there is one thing missing. Looking the part is all well and good, but to really bring this style of player to life, you need the ability to make dynamic entries and to make tactical assaults and withdrawals Therefore, would someone be willing to make a mod that adds flashbangs and smoke grenades. The flashbangs could have the ability to stun humanoid characters (including the player, if you're too close) and supermutants, for 4 or 5 seconds, in order to give you the edge when making a dynamic entry. The smoke grenades, when thrown, could block an enemies line of sight, so they can no longer see you, perhaps by giving the player an invisibility bonus, like from the stealthboy without actually making the player invisible, as long as the smoke is between you and the enemy, with the effect lasting until the smoke dissipates. These could be used to conceal an assault against an area with a high number of enemies, or, could be useful for lower level players who get in over their heads, to make a tactical withdrawal. You could also create a patch for mods such as WestTek optics, so if you have a thermal vision ability, or an ability that highlights enemies, enemies can still be highlighted through the smoke, giving you en extra edge when assaulting locations.
  17. Hi, LeahTheUnknown, thanks for your suggestions, but those mods didn't work. There are no other similar mods available on Bethesda.net. However, having read through the mod description of Weapon Racks Extended, it would appear that the SA80 mod might be missing the keyword "WeaponTypeRifle" which is why it's not able to be displayed on weapon racks. Unfortunately, this isn't something I can fix myself because I'm not a modder, I don't even own a PC, I rely on good people like yourselves. How complicated is it to create a patch that adds the required keyword? Thanks again
  18. As the title says, I love this SA80 mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24619 https://mods.bethesda.net/en/fallout4/mod-detail/4261829 but I was rather dismayed at the fact the weapon can't be displayed on weapon racks. Would it be possible for someone to create a patch to allow this to happen? Thanks
  19. OK, so, I've recently been using Flashy JoeR's Gun For Hire mod, and I really liked the concept of the mod. It brings longevity to the game and gives you a reason to go back and play long after completing the main story. That is what's inspired my idea. Playing as a gun for hire is good and fits in with the game's lore, but hired guns are ten to the dozen in the commonwealth. Therefore, would someone be willing to create a mod, using inspiration from GFH, but you role play as a Private Detective, with your own Detective agency, rather than a PMC, as Detectives are rare in the commonwealth. The quests could get based around investigation style radiants, like recovering stolen property, finding missing persons, hostage rescue, capturing fugitives, raiding Raider outposts, rescuing damsels in distress and generally being the quintessential hero type. Maybe there could be a couple of new outfits added, like Valentines trenchcoat, and a version without the coat, so you can wear a kevlar vest over it, and some disguises, like in GFH, so you can go undercover.
  20. Would someone be willing to create a new mod for me using the vanilla military / army fatigues and / or the BoS fatigues. What I'm after is for someone to take these vanilla clothing items and make more rugged versions. The inspiration is that the game is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and I've used mods such as PMC and mods that add "tacticool" outfits, and as great as they are, they don't fit in with the wastelands post apocalyptic aesthetics. So, what I'd like is for someone to take the vanilla fatigues and dirty them up, put rips in them, maybe add a bandage or two, have versions with the sleeves ripped off, short sleeved versions, shirtless versions, versions with a vest, kneepads, elbow pads, etc. Desertised retextured versions and winterised snowy retextured versions (I use a snowy mod during the in-game winter months) Basically, a mod that makes these outfits look like they're worn and used by a grizzled wasteland veteran, who's spent plenty of time in the trenches, rather than being fresh off the production line, but also using vanilla assets to stay in keeping with the games aesthetics. Would it also be possible to make them as under-armors. And also possibly add some accessories, like combat armour helmets that have ammo, cigarettes, goggles, etc, strapped to them. A bandana that's worn over the head, rambo style headbands, etc. There are loads of mods out there that mash up vanilla outfits to make they look more rugged, but they are nearly all mashups of the civvy outfits. I was very surprised to find there aren't many mods that mash up the military clothing items. I'm hoping that someone out there will be able to change this. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
  21. As the title says or a more modern equivalent, it doesn't even have to work. It can just be cosmetic. Why? Because they look badass, that's all.
  22. Would it be possible for someone to create an accessories mod for xbox, to make your character look a bit more rugged or ragtag. I was thinking of things like rambo style headbands, or bandanas that cover your whole head, like In the attached image. Maybe some shemaghs, things that you can wear along with the military or army fatigues, to look more like a ragtag grunt, rather than clean cut soldier, or with normal clothes to look more rugged. Also some sunglasses would be great, as the selection on bethesda is woefully slim, and some backpacks for the same reason, Thanks.
