  1. I'd really appreciate it, if someone was able to create a plug in or add on for Amazing Follower Tweaks. The mod author has given open permissions on the original mod page, as long as they are credited. I'd like a plug in that adds more poses and animations, which you can assign to your followers. It's a fantastic mod and I use it in all my playthroughs, but I find the poses that you can put your followers in, to be a little, well, bland. If someone could create such a plug in, it would be awesome as I think they could bring more life and liveliness to the player homes, or wherever you stash your followers. Thanks
  2. Please could someone create a mod for xbox, similar to the mod in this link: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17392 Obviously it'll have to a be a SFW version, for xbox. Unfortunately, the permissions on this mod are strict, and the author will not allow it to be ported to other sites, which is why I've asked if someone can create a similar mod. Thanks
  3. Please would someone be good enough to port this mod to Bethesda.net for Xbox. It allows you to snap glass into the windows for concrete walls. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23060 I can't do this myself as I don't own a PC Permission has been obtained from the original mod author, maximluppov, a screenshot can be sent on request Thanks
  4. An idea to save time when building settlements. I know there are a couple of mods that add prefab buildings already, but the selection is limited, (with the exception of Sim Settlements) and they usually they come as part of a larger mod with other, often unwanted content. Basically, a mod similar to sim settlements, but simplified, for people who want the simplicity of prefab buildings and room plots, but without big changes to workshops, gameplay, UI, HUD, AI, and the myriad of other changes that ambitious mods such as sim settlements brings. Or a mod that adds prefab buildings and plots, without the 10,000 other workshop items and decorations that come with it. A series of prefabricated buildings and shacks, which you could select from a menu and plop down in your settlement, some looking scrappy and thrown together, others looking a bit more sturdy. Then snap a room plot into said building, or two or three, if it's a bigger building, or multi floord building the bedroom plots should have a bed, which you could assign settlers to. You could also have plots with more than one bed, for smaller settlements. You could also add other room plots for settlers to use, like living room plots, kitchen-diner plots, bar / recreation plots and store plots. The plots could also have a few other bits of furniture and some clutter to make them look "lived in". I just think there needs to be a simple mod, that adds the above to the workshop menu, for people who want something similar without big game changing alterations, or thousands of other clutter items. Thanks for your time.
  5. @RoNin1971, Thanks again for your suggestions, and your offer. But I'm not a modder and I wouldn't have a clue how to create / edit / convert mods. As far as I'm aware, USO just retexures the vanilla concrete walls. What about something that adds glass panels, which don't necessarily snap into walls, but could he used with place anywhere or similar mods?
  6. Thanks for your help, but I use USO, so I'd need something that would add glass the to retextured concrete walls too, but thanks anyway
  7. That sounds like a good idea, but I wouldn't have the first clue how to do it, as I'm not a modder, and i play on consols, but thanks for your input.
  8. There is a specific animation from Red Dead Redemption / RDR2, that would increase the games immersion, and enhance the lawless dystopian feel to the game, if someone were to create a mod that adds it. The animation I'm talking about is the one where you capture NPCs, then carry them off, or put them on you horse (obviously, the horse carrying wouldn't work in FO4), then drop them off wherever you want. I shall explain why I think this is a good idea further down. It could be made to work by approaching and activating said NPC. Once activated, they are no longer hostile (if used on an NPC from a hostile faction) and if used on a non hostile NPC, they remain non hostile. Or maybe using a widget, that you save to you favourits menu, which you activate when aiming at an NPC. Either way, once the NPC is activated, the capture animation jumps straight in. Once captured, as per RDR, you can pick them up and carry them to wherever, then drop them. To make it more immersive, and "fallouty", once dropped, then activated again, it comes up with an options menu, where you can access the NPCs inventory, and take all their stuff, and / or equip them with whatever clothing and equipment you want. You could then either pick them up again, release them, move them, or reposition them (rotate on all three axis) so you can put them anywhere you want and they don't have to be left on the floor. (Amazing Follower Tweaks does something similar for posed followers). The NPC should also have no collision, so the animation is not affected if the NPC is placed on a furniture item. (Not sure if this is how it works) When you drop / move / reposition them, them, they remain in the captured animation, indefinitely, until you release them, and are not affected by cell resets so they can't just get up and wander off. Once released, they return to wherever they come from, or if they are from a hostile faction, they run away, or become hostile again, depending on their level. Could this also be made available for xbox? The reason why I think this a good idea, Is because it will add immersion and realism to the game. The game is set is a lawless dystopian future, where you have roving gangs of raiders, who do whatever they want and are accountable to no one. It would be a good mod for anyone who roleplays as a raider. There are already hostage / rescue missions in the game and this would expand on these ideas. It would also be handy for mods that add bounty hunter type quests, for capturing wanted fugitives. Thanks for your time.
  9. Hi @helengaius, thanks for your suggestion, but I couldn't find a mod called Snappy build, I know there's a "Snappy Building Kit" and a "Snap 'n' Build", but with large mods like these, I tend to only use about 10% of the mods contents so I don't bother with them. All I'm after is something that allows you to snap glass / plastic windows into concrete wall window pieces. Thanks
  10. @nexusclod, thanks for the feedback, but I use USO, and would like windows for the retextured concrete window blocks.
  11. There are loads of awesome settlement mods out there, which add hundreds of building items to workshop settlements on Xbox. Examples include Snappy House Kit, Snap n Build, USO, Workshop Rearranged, Vanilla Extensions, the list goes on.... And therein lies the problem. I'll download one of these awesome mods, and out of the 1000 items within the mod, I'll use maybe 10. Whats needed are more mods made available to Xbox users that add single building kits, like what you'd get from the Atomic Shop in Fallout 76, for example, a mod that only adds a brick retextures, or rustic stone retextures etc. That way you can pick and choose what building texture kits you want without having to have the 1000 other items that come with the mod. Examples below include: *I'm aware that the Adobe House kit is available on Xbox. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12168 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9205?tab=description https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/29475 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23840 Thanks for your time
  12. OK, so as most know, there are mods out there which contain poses and animations, which you can use on NPCs via console commands, rings that you equip them with, or via menus activated by your pip boy. Well, what if you were able to pose and animate NPCs yourself, In game? This would be great for bringing a bit of extra life to your settlements. I know this is a long shot, and I don't even know if it's possible, but hear me out anyway. So would it be possible to use a framework, similar to the Cheat Terminal or Amazing Follower Tweaks, which is activated via the pip boy after aiming at an NPC, then loading a widget or holotape, or by adding conversation options to NPCs which give you an option to pose and animate. This then opens up a command state similar to character customisation, but for the targeted NPC. From this state you can then manipulate the NPCs hands, feet, limbs, head and torso to create your own poses. Once you''ve placed the NPC into the desired pose, you then lock in that pose, to prevent the NPC, from being able to sandbox as per normal once you resume playing. You could than have an option to move the NPC so you can place a posed NPC anywhere you want and rotate them on all axis, to tweak the placement, as per Amazing Follower Tweaks. So if it's possible to pose an NPC, why not take it further and animate them. If you activate a posed NPC, it gives you an option to reset the NPC, ie, have them resume normal sandboxing, unposed, or, animate the posed NPC. I'm not sure how this would be possible, but perhaps by manipulating the limbs / torso etc, one at a time, during some form of recording phase, so you do one movement, set it, then a second limb, set it, then a third, and so on until you've made all the movements you want, then set those movements so they happen simultaneously. You can then do a second set, and however many you want, before finalising the whole manipulation so it repeats the movements when you resume playing. As I said, I don't even know if this is possible, if it is, or anyone knows an easier way to do it, I'd be interested to hear.
  13. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you need an xbox to port mods over, just a Bethesda.net account, you just wouldn't be able to test them yourself.
  14. Hi @RoNin1971, unfortunately not, the owner of this mod has stated in the permissions that it can only be ported to Bethesda.net with his express written permission. He's yet to respond. Plus I don't own a PC, so that kinda makes it tricky as well.
  15. As it says in the title, I'm looking for someone to create a mod which allows you to snap glass panes into the windows of concrete walls for xbox. There are no mods that do this on bethesda, and there is only one, on nexus, which does exactly what I'm looking for. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23060 The owner is yet to respond to my message, so there are no permissions to port it as of yet. I just think it's a bit silly and unimmersive having great big open windows, which are exposed and open to the elements.
  16. Plus the only mod available for xbox, screws up the Castle as a settlement.
  17. Thanks for your suggestions, but I play on xbox, and these are not available on Bethesda.net. Maybe someone will be good enough to port them?
  18. Could some create a mod the cleans up the Castle tunnels, and turns it into a workshop that can be used as a player home after completing the "Old Guns" quest. Similar to Home Plate or Boston Airport. It seems like such a waste of space as its unused and you can't do anything with it, and it would be a perfect Generals Quarters, to be used as a player home and a museum to showcase all your collectibles. There is one already out on xbox, and it's good, but place anywhere doesn't work with it, and the lights and light sources can't be scrapped.
  19. Hi @canyonRunner96, thanks for your input also, there is an M60 mod and an M249 mod that has animated belts already on nexus, perhaps if someone was to borrow those assets? With the authors permission of course
  20. Hi @DCP23nexus, thanks for your input. I am aware of this mod and it looks awesome, but I was hoping for more real world type HMG's and LMG's, like the .50 cal machine gun from FO76, to go with my 80's action movie type outfits for my character.
  21. With all the technology left behind in 2077, you'd think there'd be wet weather gear lying around. Wandering around in the pouring rain without any sort of wet weather gear is a little unimmersive, and in the wasteland, a surefire way to catch Rad-pneumonia. It would be great to have some wet weather gear to equip, when it starts pouring, not modern Berghaus or North Face type gear, but something that will fit in with the lore, like ponchos similar looking to ones used by solders in WW2 and Vietnam for military outfits, or waxed jackets and trench coats for civvie outfits. They could be made as outfits to avoid the inevitable clipping issues that plague standalone clothing items and support ballistic weave to make up for not being able to wear an armour chest piece. The ponchos could have sleeves or arm holes so you can still use your weapon and pip boy. As an extra you could also add waterproof hats and a waterproof backpack cover you keep your gear dry as well.
  22. I've noticed a distinct lack of belt fed machine gun mods on nexus. There are a few that rehash the vanilla assault rifle, and one or two that add custom HMG'S. The only two I can find that add belt fed machine guns is one for an M249 and and one for an M60, so it is possible to do, so.... Where are the Browning M2 .50 cal machine gun mods? Where are the Browning M1919 .30 cal machine gun mods? Where are the M240 General Purpose Machine Gun mods? Where are the Russian PKM machine gun mods? Where are the British GPMG mods? If someone could create mods that adds weapons such as these, that would be awesome, or is there a reason these haven't been made?
  23. A useful time saving mod would be to have pre-furnished houses / shacks / homes for settlers. A bit like what you have in Sim Settlements, just without everything else that comes with it. The house counts as a bed, or multiple beds depending on its size, and is fully nav-meshed, so essentially you're placing a sheltered bed in your settlement, that's surrounded by a furnished house. Or snappable room plots for settlements that already contain buildings, like sanctuary. Just plop one down in one of the room in the sanctuary houses, and you have a furnished and decorated bedroom. Also made available for xbox
  24. Now, I love designing settlements, but I find having to furnish and decorate every room for every settler to be quite tedious and time consuming. So a fix for this would be for someone to create a mod which allows you to place a pre-furnished and decorated room piece. For example, when you need to add a bed to a settlement, for a settler, you select the bed, but it comes as a room set containing a bed, a bedside table, a lamp, a set of drawers and a few bits of decorative clutter all on some kind of invisible rug. This set the snaps to a large floor piece or just straight onto the ground. So you plop this down and voilà you have a furnished and decorated room, which counts as a bed If you have a building that's say 2x4 large floor pieces in size, you can put 8 of these pieces down to create a kind of dorm room. Maybe they can come as twin versions with two beds, or bunk beds or double beds for smaller settlements. The amount of beds in each piece, counts as the corresponding amount of beds for your settlement You could create the same thing with snappable pieces for other rooms, like kitchens, dining areas and living areas. The kitchen could come with a cooking station and they could come in different sizes, from small kitchenettes to large mess halls and could even count as a bar. There could also be multiple themed pieces, for example, wasteland settlement, military, raider, established settlement etc. This way, you can create lore friendly, immersive, vibrant and lived in settlements, without it taking half of your life. I'm aware that Sim Settlements does something similar to what I've proposed with small settler homes, and it's a great mod, but all together, it's just not for me. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
  25. As everyone knows there are mods out there which change the landscape, everything from green mods which add lush summer vegetation, to mods which add just a hint a green, to mods that turn the wasteland into a full blown siberian winter. What if it were possible to create a mod that changes the climate dynamically, depending on what time of year it is in game. Lets say starting in March, the game is as vanilla, as it moves into summer, more greenery is added, until the end of september when it reverts back to vanilla. Then towards mid november, snow appears on the higher ground, then in december the whole wasteland is blanketed in thick snow. Through to about february, when the snow moves back to high ground again, then back to March and vanilla Thanks
