  1. Click 'Library' at the top that will take you to your installed/account games. I assuming that's the problem as the adds are only on the store page or separate pop-ups.
  2. Are there any dogs that don't look like doogle from The Magic Roundabout? I'm more of an Alsaitian walker. Bigger teeths.
  3. I am relaxed, I prefer to give an answer than just shout 'frost troll'. Joking normaly make people laugh for the record, Skyrim DLC is serious buisness. Lol.
  4. Don't worry about it, you have to be on your guard with most forumy people... Have a friend request and a hazardous cheese: :excl:
  5. Isn't the main point of games like this for you to win? I don't think a DLC that destorys the landmass most players have spent 50+ on would be very popular.
  6. I was just speaking figuratively. No, I don't expect Bethesda to actually send us to Mars. I was merely saying that it will likely be something outlandish and unexpected. My response was in response to Boudro's comment. I knew what you meant.
  7. Well..... If sales figures don't lie; MW3 is a better game. Dragon Age Origins wasn't game of the year.......... and I'm pretty sure Skyrim will seem unplayable, bleak and desolate once a good influx of mods start coming from the CK being released.
  8. They suited Fallout though. Although strange it was really nice to see a game develop on an easter egg they had in the original. Fallout was outlandish, and so is Skyrim/TES but both in their own ways. If spells were added to Fallout and lasers to TES it would be a completely different version of weird to the previous 'odd' DLC.
  9. They won't do Aliens but Herculine is right in that Beth DLC is completely separate to the base game/story. Hopefully  they will add to to Skyrim's story.
  10. Don't like you anymore. Lol. Skyrim has had a more substantial press and promo coverage. Not to mention the people that LOVED Oblivion and praised the next release to all their friends. It also has dragons.
  11. Just goes to show, new kids go crazy for snow....
  12. I would gladly pay £6 for DLC which makes Elena (not sure of the name) the Thalmor Ambassador UN-ESSENTIAL.!
  13. I'm hoping for something more on the Thalmor. They are a big change to the whole of Tamriel and could be used a lot more as a plot-pivot. AND I don't like them. Edit: ^^ Dam :wallbash: too slow.......
  14. Fascinating......... For your map: ironing probably wouldn't do it any good as the moisture may blur the ink. Try a paper press/roller. Or blue-tack it to your wall really stretched out, and wait...
  15. I have encoutered several bugs myself but in responses to your points: Consoles are what is limiting what publishers can do, Indie developers are generally now the only ones who can afford to take an 'outlandish' view on what it means to play a game. That said Bethesda take far more risks than any other major developer I can think of. This is highly likely to be a bug, someone has put a contract on you before you joined. However the Dark Brotherhood does have history of pitting their own members against each other (one of the -2920, The Last Year of the First Era- books details this, which is official lore). Dragons leave footprints when they land. Although having footprints in snow would be great, how could they pull something like that off with the console hardware & basic PC hardware? I'm not sure whether you mean they don't react at all, or they don't immediately know where you are. I haven't had a case of no reaction at all so my response to the latter: Unfortunatly there is no regional damage, so unlike an action game they have a choice of either: you hit someone once and they detect you- forcing you to make sure you can one hit kill before attempting the stealth skills, or they hunt around and don't suddenly know where you are until they are on top of you. I'm more concerned about the 200ft in the air I was launched after my first Giant encounter..... I haven't had this problem myself, are you sure you wasn't in shadows although it was lighten? I had this myself during a misc quest in Whiterun where it seemed I was an obvious theif in their home, hidden behind a pillar, but when I stepped into the light they saw me instantly. Steath like that is a very difficult thing to script, even Splinter Cell which is a succesful but soley stealth series has a 'you are detectable/warning state/or not decectable' switch. With SC as an example, even they have not managed to fully code the precise shades of light on the PC outside of the rules I stated. There is a lot of dynamic lighting in Skyrim which is taken into account within the Stealth field, which is on par- at least- with the sole stealth games. Can you do better, in minutes? I doubt you understand the time and effort developers and modders put into everything they make. They didn't say they wanted to make the most realistic RPG? The only step they took towards making it realistic is making the little things that you can do, it is still a fantasy and a game. I have had the MQ, end of the DB quests, Companions quests break on me. That said it still surpasses all other games for one reason or another, be it depth/freedom/re-playablility or more.
  16. That's good to know. I was starting to worry why the Steam statistics only had a peak of 201,929 people playing TES:V Skyrim, instead of 201,930.......
  17. Try waiting around for a time(24/48hrs), the companions will return to their home if they are wating for a certain amout of time. So the dog will hopefully either catch up to you or you will get a message saying he has returned home.
  18. So you're calling it a piece of crap, but have you actually played the game yet?....... Perhaps if you didn't have a painfully slow internet connection it would be a different story, that however is no reflection on the game itself.
  19. Frost trolls are far too powerful early on. The second dragon encounter I had was in a large temple ruin, I had to hide under a bridge and take shots at the dragon with my bow while my health regenerated. THEN the dragon (still with at least 2/3 health) landed above me inside the ruin, it took a single frost troll seconds to kill it..... But I still got the soul after spending 10min running around trying to kill this troll.
  20. No because generally people like that try to make friends with the mudcrabs..... But getting wired on Red Bull? Indeed!!
  21. Yeah you might wanna stop lol, Skyrim will only be 6gigs but it's a risk....
  22. What was your other question? We don't know what time it will be available to download. It will take roughly 2&1/2hrs on a 1.2mb connection to steam based on others I've downloaded, counting for drops.
  23. When you sign, the update pop-up will tell you that its available to pre-load.
