  1. Hello, After completing Honest Hearts, I would like Daniel and Joshua to be there and to sell to me. Can I do this with the console? If not, would someone be willing to make a mod that would accomplish this for me? Thank you, Mathalor

I've done more research, and I eventually found this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/41132/?, whose description points out that veronica's perks aren't actually given when finishing her quest for either party. I thought that the yuki patch would have fixed this, but when checking her DT after she stayed with the brotherhood there was no change. I used the console to add the perk to myself, after which her DT changed. I do not know how to verify if causeless rebel works the same way, but I added it to myself regardless. Her attacks seem faster now. Assuming that it works, that answers my first question. If anyone can tell me if companions benefit from crit gear, or how to change elijah's ramblings to affect both unarmed and melee, please let me know.
  3. Okay, I have a third Question. I'm trying to change the perk Elijah's Ramblings so that it will affect unarmed and melee weapons, instead of only melee weapons. I'm looking at the perk in FNVedit, I see the perk condition: Equal to 1.0 IsWeaponSkillType Melee Weapons Subject What should I change this to, or what should I change instead? I think that my character aught to be able to share the holotape and will give myself the Ramblings perk via console after giving the holotape to Veronica.
  4. Do New Vegas Companions benefit from Crit Gear? If I want Veronica to have both perks after her companion quest, what should I do? I like Veronica. I wish she'd have more to say after completing her quest and asking her questions, but I still like her. I want her to obtain both perks after finishing her companion quest. I'm assuming the Yuki patch fixes the Bonds of Steel perk. Can I use the console to add Causeless Rebel to her, or should I add the perk to myself? Will I have to add it again if I dismiss her and recruit her again? I know that in skyrim companions only benefit from certain types of armor enchantments. I don't know if similar restrictions exist in New Vegas. I was thinking of giving her Dr. Klein's glove. If I give Veronica the Elite Riot Gear, will she have 8% crit instead of 3%, or will she ignore the effect?
  5. I sided with the Dawnguard. I have a couple of questions about Serana. What does she eat? Is she feeding on Isran when no one is looking, or does she go out hunting bandits, or something else entirely? Serana's family used to worship Molag Bal. Other than submitting the women to the ritual, what does this look like? He's the 'Lord' of rape, murder, and domination. Why would a woman worship this Daedra? Does Serana or her family worship Molag Bal still? Does she have any feelings regarding him? I ran the haunted house quest with her expecting a comment or two, but got nothing. General Question about Vampires. Why are most vampires hostile? They yell at me about blood and feeding, but when my character is a vampire she cannot feed on corpses.

I found DLC1DragonDrainVitalityShout06 and DLC1DragonDrainVitalityShout07 under shouts in dragonborn using tes5edit, but did not find a reference to resistance. I looked up magic effects and found three entries for dragon drain vitality, and changed the resist entry to magic resist for each. Hope this works.
  7. Hi, I'd like to change the dragon versions of drain vitality to be affected by resist magic. Is this something I could do through tesvedit, or will I need to learn the use of the creation kit? How can I do this?
  8. It has always bothered me that after completing Summerset Shadows, Niranye stops selling general goods. Would it be possible, with a mod, for her to continue selling general goods, in addition to fence goods and base gold? Would it be possible for Golum Ei to sell general goods in addition to fence goods and base gold after completing The Dainty Sload and Scoundrel's Folly, for Eldon to sell jewelry in addition to fence goods and base gold after completing Silver Lining, and for Mallus Machius to sell honningbrew mead in addition to fence goods and base gold after completing Imitation Amnesty and Dampened Spirits? If all this could be done without breaking Localized Thieves Guild Jobs (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14509), this would be my request. I think other people might want it as well, so if possible could you make a version for both new and older skyrim?
  9. For some reason, I can't get the courier to arrive with my letter from falk firebeard. I have usleep and better quest objectives installed, and tes5edit tells me that only those two have changes to this quest. I cleared the first cave and turned the prereq quest in to Firebeard. I then quested for a while, before getting impatient for this courier. I've waited 7 days, I've then waited one hour repetitively for about another day and a half, trying to get the courier to arrive, with no success. I've tried console commands to add the letter to me directly (came up blank and didn't start quest), and setstage ms06 50, which didn't help either. I'm level 81 and would prefer not to level. Is there a console command that will start this quest for me? Is my only option to level and wait?
  10. sorry, I had assumed after days of checking that this was dead. I'm actually interested in adding more crit to graham's armor, as I wanted the crit, but hate the look of ulysses. Thanks for getting back to me.
  11. I'd like to switch the stats between ulysses' duster (5% crit, 1 chr, 13 DT, 3 lbs) with Joshua Graham's armor (3% crit, 15 DT, 8 lbs). Can I do this from nvedit, or do I need to use the geck? Do I need to do anything special to make certain that the effect and not just the description is changed?
  12. Couldn't find robobrains or gutsy's when I returned to big mt. did find some damaged securitrons, and it worked against them.
  13. There weren't significant edits until I reached the object effect, looks like both mission mohave and yup made edits there. I'm going to copy the yup edits into my custom patch and see if that fixes it. Thank you.
  14. I should have mentioned that my character had 84 effective explosion skill while testing.
  15. I'm using yup, mission mojave, and ammo fixes. I also use project navada core (with dlc and extra options patches), though I can't find anything in fnvedit dealing with 25mm pulse grenades in that mod, or the launcher, so I'm assuming it's not touched. Everything else in my load order is either very specific (stronger merchants, ed-e advanced, plentiful poisons), UI tweaks (IHUD, MTUI), or lighting overhaul. I play through steam, and have all the official dlc.
  16. Sorry it took so long for me to get back to this. Against mohave turrets in vault 34, the 25mm pulse grenades , fired from a fully modded 25mm grenade launcher, work great. In big mountain however, they seem to cause zero damage against robobrains and mr gutsys. Firing 24 of them in rapid succession doesn't lower the health bar by any pips. 12 gauge pulse slugs, pulse grenades, pulse mines, and the sonic emitter seem to be causing increased damage, even if it's reduced. 25mm timed and high explosive grenades will damage them. Are the 25mm pulse grenades intended to deal zero damage against big mt robots? This seems like a bug.
  17. Huh. Well, I'm installing ammo fixes and replacing mission mohave with YUP, it'll be a while before I go through old world blues (I've learned from skyrim to start over after you uninstall a mod), but I'll see the changes when I do. Thank you again.
  18. I do play on very hard. I found 12 gauge pulse slugs to be effective, but not the 25mm pulse grenades, I thought it was the grenades. Could the difficulty be lowering the damage below the robots' DT? Looks like YUP is the new unofficial patch, I'm out of date there.

  20. Hi, I'm trying to fix 25mm pulse grenades so that they will deal extra damage to robots, as they haven't worked for me in the past when fighting roboscorpions. I see the blue emp globe, but next to no damage is caused. I'm using FNVedit, as I thought that would be an easy fix, and I know next to nothing about the geck. I found their entry under Ammunition, for the gunrunnerarsenal and mission mohave .esps, I notice that the ammo effect listing is blank for both. I think that this is where I'd type in something to cause the desired effect, but I'm not sure what is necessary. Could someone point me in the right direction?

  22. Yeah, like I said, I'm not asking about compatibility. I'm asking about system load. As in, script load and other performance issues.
  23. My skyrim's been overloaded lately. Of skyre, perma, and ordinator, which causes the least system load while running the game? Which causes the most? I'm not talking about compatibility issues or patches or whatever, just system load.
  24. After rebuilding a lot of stuff and starting a completely new game, it seems to work properly. The old save seems unrecoverable.
