  1. *peeks in* on the subject of Kudos, you have to earn it. I give them to people who are good writers, or good at drawing usually. Although, you do get rating stars from my simply because you like Baldur's Gate as well as I do..
  2. Shiori actually found herself getting angry at all these people telling how she should and should not act. Teaching her to fight and survive is one thing, telling her to desist having feelings is completely different. When the Jason man started getting more.. pushy, telling her again that he wanted to "teach" her, which really meant to change who she was as a person, force maturity on her when she wasn't ready for it, she snapped. She didn't yell, but her voice took on the soft, quiet, deadly tone from when she got really angry. In this low, deadly voice she said, "Just because I show emotions and still give a sh*t about being hurt or hurting people doesn't mean I need to change, or be changed by self important people such as yourself, Jason. I asked for combat training, not for you to tell me who I am is unacceptable and tell me I need to cease and desist with that sort of action! Stop it, or I won't take ANYTHING you have to teach me. Now, I realize that probably means absolutely nothing to you, after all, I can sense the detachment from here. You detach yourself from the world around you, you hide behind your anger and your frustrations, not allowing yourself to talk to people, or to do more than get angry. You don't care about me. You don't even like me. So don't pretend to do me no favors while trying to change me as a human being." After this litany, she looked at Sheriff, and said, "You haven't tried to change me as a person. Why is that?" Greebo walked outside, and caught most of Shiori's quiet rant at Jason. He leaned against the wall and observed, ready to intervene should Jason get in too close, or attempt to strike Shiori, but otherwise not intervening. Sometimes these things needed to play themselves through.
  3. Anderson nodded, saying; "I'm alright for ammunition, but some food wouldn't go amiss. Anyone want to join me for a meal? It's on me, I have plenty of money saved up." Anderson's expression was of kindness and honesty. If these were crusaders like him, although they worked for no church, he saw no reason to harm them. Jennie smiled and said, "I'm good on ammunition as well, grabbed a pretty big supply from the Farmhouse when I was last there. However, a meal wouldn't go amiss, and I should probably stock up on dried foods and stuff as well."
  4. Why, thank you! I'll see you later on! *Psycho attack*

Happy Halloween, Merry Samhain, etc. to you as well! Wiccans FTW! Excuse me, there's a Midget Shotgunner killing me in Borderlands

  9. After awhile, Shiori calmed down, and remembered Jason had asked if she was hurt. "No, I'm uninjured, I've had training in acrobatics and other things, so the shove just caused that training to kick in. I was just so upset, I mean, Other than the old paint guns that my adopted Mother and I used for training, I've never had a gun or any weapon pointed at me before. I probably look worthless to you lot." Greebo suddenly looked stern, and he looked her dead in the eye, replying, "No. You do not look worthless, you simply look inexperienced and young. You have nothing to be ashamed of, even though you cried. That was a trying experience for you, but you still tried to hold your own and shoot the man, until I intervened." Shiori noticed that in his agitated state, his normal verbal tics were gone. Greebo solemnly handed her back her Plasma Defender, and she decided she needed air, and went outside to see where Sheriff had gone. She saw the woman leaning on the wall, and glomped onto her, saying, "I'm sorry. I must have looked so pathetic to you. I mean, sure I got the reflexes, but when a weapon was aimed my way.. all I could do was freeze, then cry. Even though I was going to shoot him, Greebo wouldn't let me, and then I just.. I don't know, crumbled. I'm sorry, I will understand if you don't want to teach someone worthless like me." Her face was one of shame and regret, her bangs hanging over her head which hung slightly.

  15. I can agree to that. Just remember, you have people around here who can help, you have me for any advice at controlling temper, mythic for impartiality, and Flipout for.... flipout :P
  16. Well, Sandy seems to have blown over mostly, with one woman killed by a stop sign that got blown out of it's anchors by the wind. All in all, not that bad.
  17. Greebo put his rifle away, moving to take care of Shiori. He could see the girl was trembling head to toe, tears streamed from her eyes, and her glowing eyes were filled with fear as she stared, unable to look away, at the tribal with his bow. Greebo knelt down beside her, wincing as his knees cracked loudly, and gently tried to tug the plasma defender out of her hands. Shiori stared, seeing nothing but the man who had threatened her with a weapon moments previously, barely registering the tug on her weapon, or Ariana's directive to put the weapon away. She swallowed, and raised the gun, steadying it and preparing to shoot the Tribal man for trying to hurt her, only to have the gun wrenched out of her hands by Greebo. She rounded on him, her hand now already holding her knife, and saw the look of grim determination on his face, mixed with his usual cheer, a bit of sympathy, and a "don't even try it" vibe poured off him as he stared her in the face. She dropped her dagger and flung her arms around his shoulders and started bawling her eyes out.
  18. The red corvette screeched to a halt near Amy's Ferrari and Jennie switched off the motor. She got out of the car, and grabbed her coat from the passenger seat, doing it up over her clothes, and retrieving her old dagger from the glove compartment. She looked at it worriedly, it looked like it was on it's last legs. She sighed and sheathed it, wandering over to hear Amy ask if they made it, and Raven inquire as to what was here. She commented, "I'd love to know that as well." Father Anderson pulled his White Impala behind Jennie's car for a more sedate stop, and the engine puttered off. The tall priest got out of his car, retrieving his Bayonets from the special holders on the dashboard, and sheathed them in the two scabbards that he wore under his cassock across his back. He walked over and inquired, "Well, we're here out in Maine. Mind tellin us what we're doin out here lass? I don't want to have traveled all this way for nothing, ye know?"
  19. Aye. Perhaps we did overreact earlier, but I still think you could use an extra hand or maybe someone to help you with remaining impartial. On a side note, I just got power again, so yeah, it went out over an hour ago at least.
  20. Ok. I might stay (talked with a few people through PM) and I've come to the conclusion. You need a co-manager. It seems that, like myself, you have a hot temper, and may benefit from having someone there to say that you need to chill out. You could still enforce the rules, and approve sheets, and the other would be able to make sure they are enforced and approve as well, but also have the authority to say, as one equal to another, "Stop and calm down". I nominate either myself or Flipout6
  21. It's too late, Macman. I'm out of this.. mess. It's been problems since really early on, and I lack the patience and anger management capability to continue here without having an "episode' which will most likely cost me ALL RP privs. Good evening, Macman. I bear you no ill will, and offer you the chance to join the RP I am starting, but you will have to obey MY rules. Laterz.
  22. Macman, you need to calm down. This behavior will lead you into ruin and trouble. If you can't bring yourself to be more calm and collected, then maybe you aren't ready to run a RP. You have too hot a temper, and yes, I see the irony in the fact that it is I who says this. We know you didn't fire the bow at her. That isn't the point. The point is that you pointed a bow at her head from a few inches away in the first place. Do Not blame your problems on me. Do I make myself clear? You know what? I'm out. I'm dropping, and making my own Fallout RP, With my characters there. Anyone who wish to transfer their characters over, I will approve them immediately. Flipout, I offer you co-management position, to help keep me under control. Good afternoon, all of you.
  23. When Jason tossed her, the training that she did with Cathy, the woman her adopted mother had dated, kicked in, and she rolled with the momentum, managing a hand spring and landing in a crouched position, bringing her plasma defender back up and retuned it to be lethal, but hesitated, suddenly nervous. This wasn't like the training with her mother, this was a real combat situation. Her hands trembled as she pointed her plasma defender at the Tribal, and in her nervousness fired off a shot, but missed, accidentally knocking the hat off a regulator. He looked irritatedly around, and then saw the tableau, and then looked alarmed, moving back in case it became a firefight. Greebo reacted a bit slower than Jason, seeing as he was a 233 year old ghoul. He retrieved his sniper rifle and pointed it at the tribal, ready to shoot should the tribal turn hostile. Diefenbaker growled, moving in front of Shiori, his ears flat against his head, a vicious snarl on his face. He would not allow this newcomer to harm this pup if he could help it.
  24. Sounds like fun actually.. go ahead and leave that post in, Macman. Flipout has permission to physically move Shiori out of the path of the bow.
