Can you please put some more additional info? Such as load order and system specs? Those two things are vital in determining crashes and freezes like this. Also are you using ENBoost and Skyrim Memory Patch as described by STEP?

Happy to help :) Just wondering if you have installed 3DNPC manually? Best to use NMM or any other mod manager it's way safer to install or uninstall mods. But anyways I am glad that things works fine now :D

Crash in bethesda logo? Mostly caused by missing masters. If you are using the latest version of nmm, it should be able to notify you of plugins with missing masters by highlighting it with red. Also check with tes5edit. If that still doesnt work try validating your game with steam.

I believe you can add another steam library folder. It doesnt have to be in another HDD just select a different folder. I dont remember how to do this exactly and cannot check as i am not in my phone. I'll check back with you when i get the chance. Or you could find some videos online on how to do this.

I know what that feels man. I once had a level 80 character. I have completed all main quest and guild quests and dawnguard too. I was still new to the modding thing back then. I only had a short modlist back then. However i started to uninstall some and install new ones and ysed the same charm the effects didnt appear immidiately but the game began to bug later on. I have been restarting skyrim over and over and over again. When i need to start over despite all the progress i have made, i have the same reaction as you. I am sorry, but sometimes this is inevitable. I do hope you can fix this without starting over. I really do :) P.s: have u tried putting this in the console: Set playerfollowercount to 0 And then if lydia is still bugged try "recycleactor" or "resurrect"

Yeah sure but it wont be perfectly clean good as new. This is the problem with scripted mods. But yeah there are still debates about this matter but my based on my experience there is no such thing as 'clean save' for scripted mods.

So basically what you are saying is that skyrim went dull? If that is so, go get the Sands of Time mod. It would be encounters everywhere and anytime (configurable). Best to start a new game if you do.

Nah man the left over script isnt deleted 100%. This is because lydia are attached to the multiple follower script that isnt there anymore so it gets all messed up. Try making a new game. It should work now. NEVER remove scripted mods mid-gameplay. And when you do uninstall them make sure their scripts are totally removed from your data folder.

Try disabling the autosave after x minutes (change it to never). Also try disabling papyrus logging. Sometime this helps. Also pkease check load order and modlist. I dont know which of ur modlist is active so i assume all esp and esm are active. Dont use the official high res plugins. I have read reports due to it. You are better of searching the nexus for hd mods. The crash may also be due to SMIM especially if u use the full version and your system cannot handle that much load. You can also try to edit the papyrus memory management. Dont go overboard though. Check with chesko's frostfall in the troubleshooting page. It has several options for papyrus memory management. Speaking about memory, make sure you use ENBoost and the skyrim memory patch recommended by STEP. I hope these few suggestions can be useful. Cheers

Lol it doesnt how much ram you out in ur system as skyrim is only limited to 4 gb of ram. I have also been experiencing those lag issues. The difference is that i only experience when i do the 360 turn. Your skyrim mustve been seriously heavily modded. I have 300+ mods as well and my system specs are amd r9 390 with 8 gb of ram and with i7-4790 and my skyrim runs in 60 fps, with experiencing issues sinilar like yours although it only last for about 2-3 seconds. I think the cause here is texture of graphical mods including enb. Your specs are higher than mine so i assume u r running skyrim in ultra as well. Of you have like tons of 4k texture mods you are bound to experience this issue. Also if there are a lot of npcs. I once played in ultra with all amidianborn, SFO, SMIM, you name it. My game crashes often. Fps is still 60 though. Thus my guess is because it reached the 4 gb ram limit. Some even say skyrim crashes when reaching 3.4 gb memory usage. I have no proven fixes yet as i still experiencing this issue for my current playthough, which has seen 120+ hours of gameplay. Using ENBoost and skyrim memory patch (visit guide from STEP or watch gopher's videos) reallly help though. Try them out. Also try to remove some texture mods especially parallax, hd terrain, or memory consuming enbs. Hope this helps :)

Open consike and click on her. Then try using the "recycleactor" or "resurrect" command. Make sure you have cleared her inventory before doing this as it will reset her inventory.

Well if you mean multiplayer than no you cant play skyrim multiplayer. Although there is a mod on the works to do that. But if you mean by just aying with the same steam account i dont think thats possible. Although you can try setting your steam to be offline mode so the other can use it as well. Theres also an option for shared family gaming where you can set a game to be playable throughout other peoples account that you have set to be in family mode. However i have never used this mode so i have limited knowledge in how to even set it up. Google on how to use family mode in steam.

The latest version are stable as far as i know and you can complete the zombie apocalypse now. If you are expereincing ctds in the zombie soaen area you should try toning down the number range oer wave. Default settings are like what, 30? Try for 3-5. I am not running the latest version currently and i can olay for like 2-3 hours without ctd with 300+ mods.

If you dont want to experience the same thing over and over again wheb starting over, you should check out the Sands of Time mod. With this mod you will bot be able to predict when you will fight enemies. They can appear anywhere at anytime. Your usual 5-15 minutes bleak falls barrow run can turn to 60 minutes of non stop combat (depends on settings in mcm)

Ah right sorry I misread that :p I am not very experienced with wrye bash. Some mods has been marked mergeable by the mod authors themselves. However you can still do it yourself by right clicking on the plugin and theres an option for "Mark mergeable". This may not work for all mods but give it a shot.

Well wrye bash only merges plugins that are marked mergeable. These kinds of plugins or esps are usually the ones that do very minimal edits to the base game. I doubt the mods you use are all small. In that case you will not be able to tone down your mod list from 200 to 15 through merging in wrye bash. You can however use TES5Edit to do this, but it has limitations. It cannot merged scripted mods and a lot other kinds of mods. In fact, the stability of your game is not guaranteed by doing this. Bottom line, if you want to reduce your plugins to 15, the safest way is to uninstall or stop using mods you do not need.

A very important note is to not remove mods mid-playthrough, especially scripted mods and these kind of mods are usually the main culprit of skyrim crashing on loads. Based on my experience it is best to remove mods (any actually, save texture or mesh mods) and start a new game. However you can try this utility first: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? It removes orphaned scripts that lingers in your save files after removing mods.

How about if you start a new game? I am worried when you said "clean save" because you dont need a ean save to install ENBoost. And also because clean saves are actually pretty dangerous and risky to the stability of your playthrough.

How frequent does this occur? Has it only happen once or is do you experience it everytime you are in Raven Rock?

I believe the issue here is because you have too many mods and your system cannot load it all again, your saves are bloated, or it is too unstable. I used to have this issue and still do in some cases in my current playthrough, but the only way i have been able to reduce this is by rebuilding my modlist. This means the cause of the problem are most likely caused by the unstable save caused by either too many mods or mods that are conflicting.

Try open the console and click on delphine. Her reference ID should be visible on the top middle of the console window. Now move your player near alduins wall and type "moveto player" without quotes in the console. This will teleport delhpine to you. If the quest doesnt progress still, search for the quest's ID and stage number in google and use the "setstage (quest id) (stage number)" command (without quotes) to progress the game.

The official dlcs makes a few changes to the base game itself and adds a megaton of scripts. You are never to install or uninstall scripted mods or especially the official dlcs mid-playthrough. You will have to start a new game. I know this hurts but if a stable game is what you want this is how you get it. Oh and make sure all your mods are compatible with the official dlcs when you do.

Try waiting for 24 hours. See if still crashes. And also, last time i checked, isnt the brawl bug patch fix already included in the USKP?
