  1. Read it yourself. It DOESN'T say that :wallbash: ...AT ALL. Seriously, it's not even as if the info in that post were given to you by word of mouth. It's right there in intricate detail, and it doesn't say ANYTHING about race specific moves or armor. I can't even BELIEVE this thread exists and that we're STILL discussing this. It's not there, you're making this up.
  2. @brokenergy So when you say you'd prefer to play an Elder Scrolls game in it's "vanilla glory", you're saying you'd prefer to play it when it's shallow and empty?
  3. Markarth is barely discernable in the mountains to the west. That's five.
  4. @brokenergy Personally, I wouldn't even be playing Oblivion were it not for OOO or FCOM. These are mods that tweak the level scaling to make the game more challenging and fulfilling. There are also mods that improve the graphics, and mods that add entire new questlines. The gameplay can be tweaked in amazing ways that leave you wondering, "Why didn't they think of that before?" Mods do EVERYTHING. As for DA, I just feel like they made everything about it to be outrageously hokey. DARK-SPAWN!!!! Ooooooo... I'm twelve all over again. If the writers really wanted to make it that over-the-top, they could at least have put some inpiration behind it.
  5. Well, you are the only qualified person to become Emperor in any case.
  6. You need to head over to the database and download some mods right now, my man. You haven't seen glory. This is an open world game, where we are immersed the scale, variety, and extensiveness of it all. The fact that it doesn't end there, that there are mods that make it even MORE expansive and deep, that we may enjoy the game to no end, is the greatest idea God had since chocolate. You don't really think any development team is so above-and-beyond perfect that what they give you is somehow beyond enhancement, do you? I really hope you don't think such things about Dragon Age. After all, a fifteen year-old could have written that story.
  7. You're making this up. Nowhere on the GameInformer website is there any reference to racially unique finishing moves, or unique armor for every race. We're playing telephone with the information that's actually there.
  8. Where did you read this stuff about racial armors and finishing moves?
  9. I just mean that your ultimate wish, by being so exceeded, is by definition no longer ultimate. That's all I'm saying. :) Of course, you could always revise your wish and make it ultimater. You'd have me stumped there.
  10. Thank you, scrivener07.
  11. Have you taken a look at those ice wraiths in the last GameInformer? If not, then check it. You should really like them.
  12. Well, if you're a Dragonborn, why should it stop there? You're the one living person in Tamriel who can light the Dragonfires and become Emperor, so it would seem to follow that that's what you eventually do. You'll probably be getting more than you're wishing for. Looks like your "ultimate" wish is just getting topped. :)
  13. OK, well if that what you were about, than you're 100% right and I completely agree with you.
  14. Dianadoesitbest, we were discussing this exact same idea on another thread just a little while ago and you were like, "No," period. o_O ?
  15. As an added thought; isn't it kind of rude to dismissively refer to the person with cancer (his screen name is stealtrecon, by the way) as " the make a wish kid", right on the forum that he regularly visits?
  16. It's not as if this were anything SO demandingly complicated that it would overprioritize other features of the game during development. It's actually a really simple add-on.
  17. O Todd, do you hear us? Send unto us a sign!
  18. It's been revealed that there ARE going to be more voice actors, actually. It's in GameInformer.
  19. Co-op would be awesome. Given all the time I've spent playing Oblivion, it's a real shame I couldn't be doing it with a friend.
  20. With all due conservatism about the intended scope of these games, I would love to see co-op.
  21. Since there's dual wielding, I was kinda hoping I could carry two shields and like, run into people. That, and with the shield bash, I could sock-em-bopper my way through a dungeon.
  22. very time consuming If it's not too much to explain, do you think you might tell me how come? Like, this is the kind of thing where I should be able to just draw up a grayscale and render it in 3D. Seriously.
  23. How time consuming would it be to just create a landmass? No trees, no buildings, no creatures, no anything---just a topographic landmass the size of the original game's area?
  24. :) Runathir, just because a man understands the importance of getting his vitamins doesn't mean he shouldn't have some pizza when it comes around. I'd elaborate on my point, but I really ought to get to bed.
  25. I'm sure the Legion can lock you up for their own reasons, in any case.
