  1. Hehehe, well, I can't give you a dictionary, but how about an avatar! Here you go: Now go fix that blank image, you deserve better! :D
  2. LOL Shaun, that was for HedgeHog, but I admire your enthusiasm!
  3. Why did I suddenly picture you wearing a wife beater stained with beer? ;)
  4. Before I throw a dictionary at your face... 1ae0bfb8 would have every right to do that on his/her own mod page. You, Shaun0057, have obviously missed the entire point of my post.
  5. I will probably get hatemail for this, but it's been bothering me so much of late I had to come write this. People... I get it. With AE out, the community split on what version of the game they play or want to play, it makes things confusing, and confusion leads to frustration. But for the love of the gods, stop taking it out on the MOD AUTHORS! Every mod I go look at invariably has multiple posts with variations of "OMG I need update -you need to update! - this doesn't work for x version, please fix! - update please?" and so on. First of all, mod authors are aware of the game updates. The ones that are around at any rate. And I'm sure they want to offer compatible versions of their mods on the Nexus. Filling up their posts with begging only adds stress. Who wants to create in that environment? They know. They need time to work on it. Secondly, understand this: The only mods that need to be of a specific game version are the ones that contain DLLs. That's it. Any other mods that work for Skryim, Skyrim Special Addition, or Skyrim Anniversary Editon, only need to be compatible with the game you use: LE, SSE or SSE AE. Go through your load order. If you use MO2 there is an option to show "Content" which will allow you to find all the mods that contain DLLs. And, as stated, those are the only ones that require specific game and SKSE versions. Just try and imagine yourself as the author of a mod that is popular. Imagine going to your mod page and seeing nothing but people "reminding" you that you need to update your mod. Constantly. Multiple times. Daily. How would that make you feel? Just think on that please before you join the bandwagon of needy whiners. Remind yourself this is a game you play for entertainment, relaxation, escapism, what have you. These mod authors make this s#*! for FREE. They are literally using their amazing talents, spending their precious personal time, and giving it away! Mod Authors' Lives Matter!
  6. I don't know if you got your issue sorted or not but sometimes you have to load the game then exit and restart it for it to register the mods. It looks like you put them in the correct place [barring any mods that also have files that have to be installed elsewhere, consult mod descrips for that] so hopefully it worked out for you.
  7. Always last to be picked for kickball team
  8. I just reinstalled MO2. I restarted my machine, I recycled modem and router. I was even tempted to do an Irish Jig if that would help. MO2 refuses to let me log into Nexus. I have my paths set correctly. I can log into Nexus in browser (obvs!). I can even download mods. They go right into the downloads tab with the progress bar and let me install normally. What I can't do is use the check all for updates function. This is vital, to all of us, because who wants to manually check 200 some odd mods? I have my Nexus User Name and Password input correctly into MO2 (because I carefully did it four separate times). For the life of me I can't get this to work. Yes, I'm aware of the big hoohah with the new EU security/privacy whatever going on, but according to this thread here the new version should have rectified the secure connection (https:). So... anyone? What gives?
  9. I just updated to 1.10.82 and now I can't start a new game. I can load saves and enter those, but if I click New Game, say yes, I hear a sound effect and it just stays on the cinematic of the Red Rocket and the music loops and there is no menu anymore, I have to tab out, right click game icon and close it. I've tried many times. Rebooted machine. Just refuses to allow a new game. What the hell? Oh, and the game menu also flashes on the upper left New Version Available, but in settings it shows 1.10.82.0. And my F4SE is also up to date.
  10. EDIT: Fixed it. I just re-verified my files in Steam and cleaned the masters again. Hopefully that fixed it for good.
  11. I couldn't believe this. I was just playing last night, and I have updates turned OFF in Steam (always launch F4SE through MO2), how the hell they still updated the game is a mystery to me. This is ridiculous. I have that turned off just for this reason, if they update, there's a long wait for SKSE, er F4SE, you know what I mean. They can't just instantaneously update their files. Meanwhile we're sitting here with our nethers flapping in the breeze. I did NOT authorize this upgrade and I'd really like to know how it happened. EDIT: Thanks Fujim87, that did the trick, but now I have to launch the game through MO2 even though my mods are in NMM because the F4SE launcher, the new FO4 exe from this process and the F4SE launcher in NMM all launch Steam. Gotta do what works I guess.
  12. Wow I just happened on this body doing some google searches. With the help of Google translate, and that I have "translate this page to English" as a right click for websites, I managed to go through the hurdles of registering and then with much glee headed to the download links. Unfortunately they use a third party download site that had alarms buzzing from my Eset and Malwarebytes. Not touching it. Keeping keyloggers and other infestations off my computer is more important. But damn I really wanted this body. Maybe one day they will bring it to Nexus. Shame, was really excited.
  13. OMG how the hell did I miss Khal!!! *runs to download* Here's one I didn't see in the list unless I'm blind. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/86441 Not gonna tell ya ... just look at the amazing work of this artist. Now... what was I saying? Mmmm yes gotta gets me some Khal Drogo!
  14. This might do in the meantime eemuck? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12302/?
  15. I was hoping this would work for my SKSE launcher, but now it says I'm running an older version of Skyrim SE than the SKSE64 installed. And the new 1.5.23 won't let me launch it either. I'm so screwed.
  16. I just did a fresh reinstall, cleaned up all my masters, got all ready to reinstall all my mods, popped my SKSE in there, launched... You are using a newer version of Skyrim... <insert expletives> Now I can't even play. I just HAD to decide to rework my LO on a fresh install on the day they freaking update the client. *sigh*
