  1. It would require copyright permission from the band to even be allowed.
  2. Sorry I couldn't help. Know I have the lights and doors and desk in my build list, thought they were in 1 of those 3. The window vent is probably in the 1 you said only.
  3. To start with check out homemaker and settlement objects expansion pack and settlement supplies expanded. They have a lot of stuff to build. There was another one I saw called skyscraper building pack that showed some of that stuff but I never checked it out.
  4. I like this thought but it is probably a lot more work than it seems like. Would require good scripting and possibly modifying many quests.
  5. Check these 2 out. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15964/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17154/?
  6. There is a version in JMS weapon conversions. It doesn't use regular ammo but that can be tweaked in xedit/fo4edit.
  7. Would have to look again (at work at the moment) but I believe there is a checkbox in the CK about companions can follow.
  8. So I just recently put out a settlement mod and of course it had a couple bugs being my first attempt. Got all of them squashed I thought but 1 of my users posted this and I am stumped. quote "Can't wait! I came here to report an issue, but it looks like you have addressed it based on the pics. I've sent two settlers from another settlement, a cow that I bought and a dog that I bought to the RTB settlement, and they are all stuck inside that building that you use to get to the bunker. Seems like that is the spawning point when you send them there. Can't get them out!" "Here's the other weird part. I can't really command them or talk to them either. You click on them and they ignore you. I've turned collision off to go behind the wall where they are. I've tried moving them to other settlements, so we'll see if that works." Will double check when get home but I am positive all the markers are outside the building (in the version the user is using it is a hollow shell, will be changed in next version). The only thing inside the building he is using is the resource chest. I have never seen this in any of my playing and curious if anybody else has? And if so was there a fix?
  9. I am trying to figure out how to make a custom settlement selectable in the nuka world raider quests so that my bunker can be used for a raider playthrough. Guessing it is a keyword or level list type thing but not sure where to look.
  10. Thanks guys. For now I will just leave a note in description about having to resnap them manually.
  11. not exactly what looking for but... http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21928/? check description.
  12. I think a pistol would be better. Think of the shotguns spread. You might delete 10 things lol. Still a cool idea. Not sure if can be done but cool idea.
  13. You would be better off contacting both authors and see if something can be patched. As flowerguy pointed out we can not just mash up others work without permission. What you are asking would require rewriting level lists as well as possibly script work. It is usually easier for a original author to edit their own work.
  14. Transforming or not this would be a cool mod. I collect armors and weapons and would love a veritech in my collection. Can't do it but would love to see it. Or the cyclone for that mattrer. That would be a cool PA.
  15. So, like many others I have been trying to figure out a way to power things easier. Both when making a mod and playing. I had a crazy thought. Make a conduit end (like the radiant end) receive and transmit. Or a normal wire post. I was thinking. We can power stuff remotely. What if we set up a piece that receives wireless power and can transmit through a wire connection? (or conduit connection) I don't know if this is possible but it seems like the needed keywords should already be there. I have no idea where to start and know there are way more experienced modders out there, so I am sending this idea out to the community.
  16. Well nuts, was hoping to not have to make players snap placed conduit to make it work. Been trying to figure out how to wire up a base I built. Have another idea but that is a new post.
  17. I recently posted a settlement, 2 actually, and was told they can not be selected for the nuka world raider quests. How can I make my settlements raider usable? I should add that these settlements are in the commonwealth. Not nuka world.
  18. Actually this sound kinda cool. A premade city with a small place you can customize your own house. Using your starlight example, maybe leave the area near the original workbench shack for the home. Maybe use fences to mark the build area.
  19. What I would recommend first is to start designing it in the CK. Get the statics and all that in place and make sure you can set it up like you want it. Then tackle the workshop/vendors as it is more complex then placing tiles. Yes there are many vids out there and several do miss a step or 2. Don't watch just 1, watch several and you will start to get a better idea of what you need to do. There are also some good text tutorials for settlements. In the bunker I am working on I built the place first. Then added workshop/settlement stuff. Then added decorations.
  20. Not an expert by any means, but I believe they are more concerned with porting things from other beth games then anything currently in the game (even if not used currently). Example: no porting cats from skyrim to fallout 4. As far as I have seen there has been no issues with using anything already in the game.
  21. So there is no way in the ck to make any snapable item snap to another like it would in game? Not just conduits but say floors or anything that can snap to another piece in game.
  22. Is there a way to connect conduit in the ck so it starts already snapped to other piece when play? I used several pieces to run across a PA display room and they work as long as the player picks them up and connects them in game. Would like to have them start already connected (in which case also adding several more) to allow for hidden-ish connection back to power room. Just to clarify, not asking about power lines. Asking about the dlc conduit pieces.
  23. There are a few good vids on youtube about making interior settlements. If you just want it to be a player home/warehouse it is real easy. If you want it to be a full settlement, not so easy.
