  1. Thank you for the heads up, I will reword my request. Just trying to increase the chance of my request becoming reality. If i did save my up pennies to hire someone where do you suppose I should go to seek someone to have such work commissioned? Could possibly commission somebody to make the 3d model and mesh from the regular internet but would still need somebody to actually make it a functional mod. And there would have to be a bit of difference in it to avoid copyright issues. (use the main design but tweak it a bit so it is inspired by not copied) If you do find somebody to make the model it may help a modder feel motivated to make it since they don't have to do it from scratch but would still not be a guarantee.
  2. This is a cool thought. Could allow a more battaloid look like the robotech mecha. http://imgur.com/jQG85sx
  3. Yea AuroraMoon, if you are going to try to make your own mod. However the mod microwave mentioned has ccr/hendrix/etc/robin williams(from good morning vietnam) all of which are copyrighted with no visible permissions.
  4. Use caution offering money as payment. It is frowned upon in the rules and regs. Things on the nexus are intended to be free. That said I used to play to and it would be a cool suit. There were several nice styles used. Would love to see the cyclone from robotech as well.
  5. The best thing to do is open up fo4edit and look for conflicts. Off the top of my head I do see a couple that I have heard can cause issues. the unofficial fo4 patch and dlcultrahighres pack.
  6. There was a whole series on history channel about life after people few years ago. http://www.history.com/shows/life-after-people?gclid=Cj0KEQjwxbDIBRCL99Wls-nLicoBEiQAWroh6kD-rUqeCaCi0sZL-mG0Iu2oMJ-KmfZDSCzfqyNaQXMaAtNC8P8HAQ&&cmpid=paidsearch_G_Life+After+People&s_kwcid=AL!4850!3!138350419411!e!!g!!life%20after%20people&ef_id=WGVqBwAAAJxZv2mW:20170505201041:s
  7. There area few random encounter named guys floating around that can be killed by critters/raiders. Have seen some of them around the campfires and such places.
  8. Zog has very good advice. If you feel you need to do a fresh game then yes it is possible. In NMM there is an option under the plugin tab to disable all active esp files. It wont change the load order or "activated" mark on mod list but does turn it off. Alternately you can just launch from the normal fo4 launcher if not using any from beth.net (have to disable those in game menu) and it should launch without mods (except texture changes like grass mods that have no esp). I do this for clean test starts.
  9. Caleb hit it right on the nose. Best way is to copy what you want into a new cell.
  10. The problem is copyrights. I see no links to permissions on the beth.net radio nam mod. In order to place on the nexus you would have to get permissions from all the musicians/robin williams agent (or whoever is responsible for his estate)/any other content involved and post links to the email/etc showing said permissions. Beth.net is a bit looser about its copyright enforcement but if it was put up here as is it would be taken down very quickly and the author may be banned.
  11. I get this on a couple of mods that run the script every time game starts instead of just once when first start game. Not sure how to change that but it was discussed in some mod a ways back (can't remember which one sorry) and that was what everybody came up with.
  12. It still follows the basic settlement rules. In order to send a companion there it must be set up as a settlement. And leave the mapmarker outside. Follow Stuyks (spelling?) guide but leave out the out of site xmarker. And you will have to add 1 xmarker to link to the mapmarker. Take a look at my mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23402/?. I have a functioning ground base and a functioning player level (finishing the 3rd level this weekend) and you can see all the xmarkers and how they are linked (they are in the entrance area). If you do it right you will get 50% happiness when activate the workbench, this means you can send them there now. If you get 0% it means the script did not work and you either missed a link or it just didn't fire (in my testing I get this about 1 out of 15-20 starts), reinstall the mod from clean save and try again. If 0% persists then you missed a step. And you can use the regular workbench instead of the interior if you want (I did and it works great).
  13. Hello, I made a interior mod and am trying to figure out 2 things at the moment. No brahmin spawning. During testing I had a brahmin in my office 200ft underground lol. Raise max settler capacity in 1 settlement only. Is a huge area and 20+ max is just not enough.
  14. *secretly plots to use the ufo ones to overthrow the commonwealth*
  15. Sorry greek, have not run into this. If you do find out why please post here in case others of us run into it.
  16. There was a book I read in high school (many years ago) that described this scenario. Believe it was called "on the beach". In the book nuclear war wiped out the northern hemisphere and no bombs fell below the equator. Australia became the center of commerce and manufacturing and military and such. Using submarines they would cruise around the northern hemi looking at coastal cities for signs of life. Some of the hardier plants were still growing (pines and maples type thing) and grass eventually grew. Some wildlife was still seen occasionally. No humans. Eventually (over years) the radiation did spread south following odd wind areas and high altitude winds and radiated water in places like the gulf of mexico. At the end of the book everybody dies from global radiation poisoning. The book was written in like the 50's so a few things have changed tech wise since then but the theory is still sound.
  17. I build robo-provisioners all the time. I just build a protectron with the construction head and gun hands with the packs on. And I use a mod to convert my pack brahmin to eyebots. Go into the build menu and assign them to provisioner. I love to set 1 place like starlight as my shipping hub and run them from there to all the other settlements.
  18. It is shared for settler purposes. As in you can have 1 making water and another making food and connect them and all of your settlers have food and water. It just doesn't show it in the build screen (it does sort of, the number will be green even if 0). And all the extra water will be in 1 and extra food in another. If you mean so you don't have to go to each settlement to gather extra water n such check out this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23425/?
  19. For the record I have been using DDP's mod for a long time (before he left fallout 4) and have had no issues with it. I also saw a promising one pop up the other day. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23817/?
  20. There are literally tons of good mods out there. Here are a few of the best. (this is in no way a complete list, just a couple of the tops) Settlement Construction: Homemaker, Settlement Objects Expansion Pack, Settlement Supplies Expanded. (these 3 should add about 5000 things to your build menu) New Settlements: Look up author Greekrage (he has tons of beautiful places). Weapons: Check out doombased and skibadaa collections. Also JMS Weapon Conversions has a bunch. Armor: The Mercenary Pack. (there are a lot of other sweet armors out there but this will give you plenty to play with) New Worlds: The Small Addition by BlahblahDEEblahblah. Shameless plug: I have a stacked settlement mod out that should be finished soon. (is half done and usable) This should get you started. Check out each category and you will see the most voted mods at the top of each list.
  21. Would be cool to see Cheyenne Mountain and such but I would think much of Colorado would be a crater considering what military stuff is there. Would still be cool to see it though. I am not much for designing but wanted to toss my +1 in the mix.
  22. Thanks Jag but that's not quite what I meant. I was thinking of a conduit/connector end with the wire attachment that can receive wireless power and then can be used to transmit that power down more conduit or with wires to other parts of the same room. The reverse of the radiator style. Say for example you use PCPO to make a 20x wireless so all you settlement is covered. You don't want to run wires all over the place so you plop this conduit/connector in place and hook it to whatever needs power. Then you can run a few conduit into the other room and power that stuff. Next house do the same thing. No ugly wires all over the place or having to fish them through doors/windows and everything can get power anywhere in the settlement, even inside a building. example: [power]-----[pcpo 20x] [house][reciever]----terminal----machine [next house][reciever]--etc.
  23. There is one in JMS weapon conversions but it has special ammo and not the right sounds like this one. How is it coming Dynamic, close to a release maybe?
