  1. You could also look required esp list for that save in Wrye bash. Had weird case when old save just refused to load up while missing certain mod (with esp). And you can try to clean that save with save tool http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?
  2. 255 active, but I have fair amount of merged esp's too. Luckilly texture packs are mostly without esp's :)
  3. If youre playing in first person view... can be from Skyrim default FOV too. Felt quite sick after playing a while till I set FOV to 95 and this solved my "nauseous" problems. Just a wild guess.
  4. Quoting Morrowind: "Why walk when you can ride". Morrowind thaught me how mods work, what kind stucture they're using and how to mess your mods up and fix them, it was manual installations "golden age". Oblivion had Oblivion Mod Manager and Wrye Bash. Its made uninstalling and handling mods faster and easier, but if you overwrote file several times from several different mod it still went messy. Restoring game to vanilla state still meant copying over backup copy of game as easiest solution. Skyrim has NMM, been using it long time and its fairly good tool. Its easy to use and understand for beginners. Its doesnt require you to understand mods struckture or BAIN installers anymore. For many ppl its been first mod management tool. It helps you to keep track on updates and tells you, what mod files you are overwriting with another mod. But NMM has its limits and sometimes its just bit moody  And no, I never had any serious issues with NMM. Half year ago i finally tried MO (from curiosity) and I really like control what it gives me on installations. I can merge them later if I want to, rename them, keep same mod in different varioations for different characters. I dont have to worry where can i find replacement file for mod what i want to remove, but what overwrote files from another mod. I dont have "what texture to keep" dilemma if two texture packs have same files in their archives. I can keep both and choose later. MO doest make my game data folder into huge mess and its easier to find what file belongs to what mod. Its very powerful tool, but it requires basic knowledge how mods work. Manual install taught me to "walk", its gave me basic understanding and MO is so far best tool to operate ("ride") with that knowledge and manage your mod bit more convenient way. All options are viable, depends of your experiences and how many mods you're using. I just cant see reason to walk myself anymore
  5. Sounds like missing master problem. This mod requires all DLC's, do you have Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn all active?
  6. Just in case you can try Memory Blocks Log http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50471/? and make sure thats SSME actually works properly for you. Freezes while loading save can often hint to "running out memory" problems.
  7. Never run Skyrim on laptop myself, but you might get some info from this thread: http://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2773
  8. What animation mod exactly? Does it require FNIS too for working properly? Frozen character and NPC's sound like lacking FNIS issue.
  9. Are you using SSME or any other version of Sheson's memory patch? ENB-boost (can be used without turning in enb visual effects)? Both help a lot with game stability and freezing issues, but of course they don't fix conflicting mods.
  10. Install Wrye Bash and there under saves tab you can see, what esp's your save used. Then its easy just go and download all missing mods.
  11. If you want to play around with customized ini files, you might want take a look EWIs ini files http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51033/? , with his high ini settings and Skylight ENB (+ loads of textures and other mods) i can run my game nicely around 40-50 fps open areas and constant 60 fps interior areas (i5, 670gtx and 16gb ram). Newer enb presets are more demanding than older versions and depends of enb type, they can affect your performance quite heavily. Serenity ENB looks amazing, best out there imho, but depends how big fps hit you're willing to take. Skylight ENB feels like acceptable compromise for me atm. And people like different looks and settings
  12. Welcome to Skyrim modding! If you're worried about LOOT yellow notes about dirty edits, then as lazy person, I'll let Gopher to explain what you should do :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fw3g_N1jcZQ
  13. http://www.gophersvids.com/skyrim--modding-.html Easy tutorials for beginners.
  14. Visually very easy way to check missing masters is to use Wrye Bash. They are marked with red boxes, so very hard to miss and in right side panel you can get all info - what's missing and what files are required to run any selected esp/esm. And enjoy your game!
  15. aMidianborn glass armour variants perhaps? If you don't have it anymore, just run DSR patcher again and you're fine. Or if you placed that missing esp below Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp in your load order, then move it above DSRP.esp
  16. No, according Immersive Armors mod author: Load Order: Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp But even if opposite way, its doesn't cause a crash. But latest SkyRe version requires both DLC's - Dawnguard and Dragonborn, if one of them isn't active, then your game doesn't load. From your load order list seems like both DLC's are inactive. Tick them both and try again. edit: Ok, your SkyRe is older version without Dawnguard requirement, but currently I can't see "activated" note for Dragonborn too.
  17. From mod own description page: "Basically, after the first siege of Whiterun, the guards in holds your faction does not own will be hostile toward you. All enemy soldiers will be hostile to you as well. Let me say this again because I get a lot of questions about this: HALF OF SKYRIM WILL BE HOSTILE TO YOU. THIS INCLUDES CITY GUARDS IN HOLDS YOU DO NOT OWN. THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THEM FROM BEING HOSTILE IS TO DISGUISE YOURSELF IN THE OTHER SIDE'S ARMOR, OR TO TAKE THE HOLD FOR YOURSELF. For example, if I am an imperial, I can't walk into Windhelm without causing every city guard to attack me there unless I put on stormcloak armor, or until I finish the civil war."
  18. The problem is MO 1.2.8. If you unpack your SkyUI bsa file, it works tho... or roll back to 1.2.6.
  19. With CWO it's normal that Stormcloacks attack you, it's supposed to work like that. You can try "disguise" - use stormcloak armor and see, what happens. Worked for me. But if you already removed CWO because of that.. then no idea, removing it middle of questline is not really good.
  20. You could check Immersive Armors MCM menu (in Sky UI). All armors and options were'nt turned on by default. So if they refuse to show up in crafting menus and you have required perks, then reason might be there.
  21. Oh, Bethesda left plenty bugs unfixed, but Unofficial Patches receiving updates even now.One more thing about your load order: Tribunal robes and masks and Ritual Armor of Boethiah are already included to Immersive Armors v7, so those three esp's arent really neccessary :)
  22. Welcome to Skyrim modding  If your mod list is fairly small, then usually it works ok, unless there's something with special requirements (usually listed on mod page too). I'd still recommend using BOSS or its newer version LOOT. Video explaining how and why to use LOOT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzoyWugzZAw Same person made many useful tutorial videos for beginners of Skyrim modding. So check them out from his channel. And I strongly recommend using Unofficial Skyrim Patch - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19/? and all unofficial DLC patches (links from same page). They can fix many problems and bugs what were still left in game after official patching stopped. And almost forgot: Fist part of load order should be Skyrim.esm, Update.esm and then DLC's according release order - Dawnguard, Hearthfires and Dragonborn. With unofficial patches included look recommendation from Unofficial Patch page.
  23. Book of Silence and Skyrim HD mods are divided to different modules, but they still come from same (mod)page. If you're installing second module from same mod, then NMM don't know, is it another module for same mod or upgrade. So NMM pops up question, asking, what to do. I bet you're just pressing "yes" and NMM just uninstalls happily previous module, as you told it to upgrade (swap previous module out and deactivate old version). If you choose "no", then NMM will install another module alongside previous one, without deactivating anything. Good tutorials for Skyrim modding and using NMM: http://www.gophersvids.com/skyrim--modding-.html
  24. Did this and my game was fine. But you should always make proper save before trying such change and you can check your new save after installing Frostfall and reinstalling SkyRe with SaveTool. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?
  25. Convenient Horses is great for fixing vanilla horse horrible AI, even if you don't use all additional features. Better Fast Travel adds more carriages all over Skyrim and more destinations too. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15508/?
