  1. Honestly, I'm virtually certain this is intentional. With the current modding system, and perks system, Bethesda was able to cap weapon damage within a bounded range.

Example: in Skyrim, you did alch, ench, alch, ench, alch, ench, alch, ench.... etc. until you made god tier items.

What you're trying to get around is designed to keep the progression measured, and cap the ridiculous damage numbers of prior Bethesda games. Separate addition of bonuses removes the cascade effect of "multiplying the multiplier".

    Just food for thought.

  2. As the title states, working on a new mod, got it rigged, and in-game and no matter what I try, the model is all black.

    halped myself.

Its problem with 3ds Max occasionally not exporting Vertex colors correctly. (Or I just did it wrong the first time/ loaded a previous build and forgot to redo... etc.)

If you shiny new mesh is all... shiny and black, but you can see the dark lines of the texture under it.... vertex colors are your problem most likely. Change it to green or yellow and check in nifskope that it exported. You should be good then.

  3. So, I've been fighting with this for 5 days now. Any help would be appreciated. I'm (apparently) having a problem with the Num Strips property in the NiSkinPartition. The attached image shows the issue. If I change the value to 1 from 0, it cleans up the tearing, but the item is invisible in the creation kit. Attempting to solve via Make Skin Partition results in Bad NiSkinData - Some vertices have no weights at all. I've done multiple weight paints in blender, to no noticeable result.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. My failed meshes folder can't take much more.
