  1. *sigh* Maybe it's enough to use COBL races if you want some new cosmetics(and races). Elaborate eyes uses its own eye meshes which is not compatible with vanilla eyes(and Ren's, for they have different UV mapping each other). I hope you did not activate all the plugins at once(I can see 'use only one' type optional plugins). **And make sure you installed meshes/textures in correct place. Black void instead of yes usually means 'missing eye meshes'.
  2. The hair doesn't look like SKS Chinese. In fact, I can't find such hair from any known SKS hairs. Maybe from some other 'private' hair conversion?
  3. Custom race fix is just a plugin which adds a condition 'if player character is not from any of vanilla race' so you can proceed after character creation. Do not use NMM(many of Oblivion mods are older than that, and probably not packaged for NMM), just extract the plugin into \(Your Oblivion Installation)\Data. **If you installed Unofficial Oblivion Patch, you don't need to use Custom race fix.
  4. Python in portable package does not leave any trace in your computer(if the package is properly made), and it is not affected by other version you installed. Regardless of what version of python you installed, portable blender will work with package-contained ones.
  5. To confirm 'something': Have you talked to any Imperial woman for any generic voiced topics?
  6. If you feel that you can't make it work, there's portable package which includes NifScripts and other necessities.
  7. By the way, what is your Blender version?
  8. Check InsanitySorrow's Improved Armory series and Weapon Improvement Project. For weather mod, I rather recommend Weather - All Natural. This with Natural Habitat(And if you like NE gauge replacer, keep it) works nicely. For textures, there's AmpolX Textures.
  9. If I were you, I'd open Oblivion.esm and any vanilla race related plugin with TES4Edit, then compare race records of both. You can simply drag'n'drop from one plugin's column to another plugin's to overwrite sub-record.
  10. Do not get in modding right after getting the game, I would say. Once you get the game, play it at least once. No need to play through main quest, though. Just finish tutorial quest, run around the world, find out what you really want. **Oh, well, OBSE is almost a 'must' component for modding, if you want some cool stuff.
  11. Robe with body type doesn't matter, for robe shape will replace body shape when actor wears it anyway. What about archive invalidation?
  12. Unless the mod is packed for NMM, use OBMM and/or Wrye Bash to install the mod. Oblivion is old, and many mods are packaged for manual insall or in omod(use OBMM), BAIN(Wrye Bash).
  13. Have you installed any custom clothing/armor? Some custom equipments are rigged for custom skeleton(usually has more bones than vanilla skeleton). If you search for 'skeleton', you'll find a few custom skeletons(no, not that 'skeleton'....).
  14. If so, the underwear should be scripted(like 'undies underneath') and in the NPC's inventory. Though I'm not sure if the script works on dead actor. **And there's 'Corpse Equip'...
  15. No one would recommend NMM to install Oblivion mod, for many of such mods are old, and not packaged for NMM. Usually OBMM and Wrye Bash are recommended for installing and managing OB mods. And, for mod newbie, some large and compliacted mods are not something to be recommended, either. Start small, like installing simple house mod.
  16. Maybe it's not what you're looking for, but there's HISSSSA's Glasses mod(File download link is broken).
  17. One flaw by Bethesda: assign same file as Khajiit male & female feet texture(unlike other races). Normally it works well, but when it comes to body replacers, it can become PITA, for almost all known body replacers use feet texture to wrap around whole(except head, and maybe hand) body. To avoid such issue, you can do: 1. make a plugin to assign seperate feet texture to male and female(so make will use footmale.dds, female will use footfemale.dds). 2. leave female alone, assign renamed texture to male(I think Robert's male body does this). But since both use plugin that edits RACE record, such will conflict with any other plugins which edit the same record. Usually the last one will win, unless everything conflicts each other and make a big mess. To solve that, merged patch(like bashed patch) is needed. **By the way, does OCO2 have its own male/female body texture? If so, RM5 plugin may not be needed.
  18. I hope you didn't do anything at cell(3, 3) while working on landscape. I don't play Oblivion anymore(at current time), but I remember touching it will cause annoying 'Local map bug'.
  19. Magnitude of spell effect(and AOE range) is determined by UI. Check these: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/17284 http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/2917 If you know how to do, you can raise the limit over 9999, though I wouldn't recomment it. :smile:
  20. How about this: Set Essential Actors Plus(requires OBSE) However, killing essential NPCs can break associated quests, so be careful. **Oh, you can't kill everyone ever, for there're always respawning generic NPCs(Bandits, guards, and etc).

If you want to give Breton female unique voice(no to replacing Imperial female voice...), you'll also need to edit Breton female to use racial voice: Breton(by making a plugin with Construction Set. It may conflict with any other mods that modifies racial informations). **Oh yeah, I forgot it's a necroposting....
  22. Can you post your system and mod list(in loading order)?
  23. If it is not some model error or skeleton error, or not associated with game engine bug or graphic card driver issue, it can be symptom of something worse: your graphic card is dying.
  24. 1. Make sure your steam client is not installed under C:\Program Files(or Program Files(x86)) if your OS is Vista or higher. 2. Have you tried changing bsa file date? (There're some utilities that changes file date, and maybe Wrye Bash can do that for you...)
  25. Easier way is 'Just extract archive into \data'. Unless it's packed with 'wrong' tree structure(most common thing is seeing \data at top directory, in this case you should extract it under your game directory). And if it is in .omod or having some omod ready script, it is recommended to install it with Oblivion Mod Manager(OBMM), though omod ready archive can be installed manually unless it's somewhat complex.(And for BAIN package, use Wrye Bash to install it)
