  1. how f*#@ing dare you accuse Chesko (and that is who this c*%! is making veiled reference to) of stealing content? His mod was partially dependent on another mod (Fore's new idles) and he took it down voluntarily after Fore complained. He stole nothing.
  2. may I suggest that you make the 'dagger lady' a vampire- so as to adhere more closely to the law?
  3. I like the idea someone had of expanding on the 'come fly with me' quest. I think perhaps we could have an entire new wasteland to explore (albeit a small one)
  4. This is (as heavily implied by the title) as much a question as a request. How hard would it be to replace all the games scopes (including, possibly, the weapons of the new millenia collection) with a physical scope- ACOG? Minus the sniper scope if possible- but if it's all or nothing than, if anyone can actually do this, then I'd prefer all. Thanks.

Please could somebody make a mesh of some simple clothes (villager clothes, noble clothes etc) over the DB armour, so that you can still see bits of the leather, still tell that there is something underneath the armour.... but covered suffeciently to make it look like (mostly) normal clothes. can someone do that? anyone? please!? it really has been bugging me when I walk into a city wearing the armour and people go: "hi.... you look like your not about to go killing tons of people!" no. clothing over armour would be more sensible. thanks!

  7. this is such a great idea, but i think it's quite hard to do- have you tried suggesting this to the guy who did the race menu mod?
  8. as an addition to this project, i think that if / when the dawnguard fortress is taken over there should still be applicants to join the dawnguard who you can choose to make a vampire, make a dawnguard member for amusing dialogue or put in the dungeons and feed on it (because thralls should really need replacing after a while- before they go off) when you wear dawnguard armour, dawnguard parties don't attack you and you can blend in with roaming parties to pick them off one by one as a side quest. i intend to keep a list of everything that has been planned/ done here, this is likely to take several months if not the entire year (if i spend most of my free time on it, and i get support from more experienced modders.) I'm quite hopeful that this mod will be made and made well. I'm still getting to grips with the creation kit, so if you are part of the niche audience looking for something like this, any help would be greatly appreciated. note: i can't abide subtitles so a variety of (good) voice actors will be needed eventually- but baby steps, right?

  11. How many times have you been a vampire? and how many times have you thought- you know what, i want to expand my empire. after we destroy the dawnguard, why can't i have their fortress. I want their fortress to leave my cute little vampire doggies in! and another thing: werewolves are annoying- the vampire bloke said that they were essentially scum with tainted blood- let me kill all the companions- oh and the vigilants of stendar. I am a vampire killing machine, let me kill and invade. let me recreate the companions with a full array of vampiric warriors as we slowly take over tamriel. this is the mod i want to see, and i think it sounds doable. in short, I would like: after destroying the dawnguard I want their fortress to be full of vampires (better vampire/ belua sanguinares revisited compatibility to make dawnguards into vampires)to have roaming dawnguard members in tamriel, with placed campsa quest to eradicate the vigilants of stendarr a companions branch-off-quest to slowly turn all the companions into vampires, one at a time (separate belua sanguinares revisited/ better vampire versions) so that the companion quest ends, but you can still get the artifacts as vampires masquerading as companions ( this would take voice actors and should be done last- if at all)a quest to turn the jarls in to vampire thralls, allowing PCs to control towns, villages and eventually whole cities (needs more challenge- for instance you have to take over some guards, the advisers, a few towns folk and then the jarl/ high king (note: would need voice actors (a convenient page on the nexus springs to mind))the above quest to actually give you power over people, in a similar way to the "become high king of skyrim" mod- but less direct, with no acknowledgement of your power- but more of it, including hearthfire-esq rooms under the castles. a new quest (after you control the jarl) where vampire hunters assassinate a random jarl, and you have to take over the jarl duties in your own right- or assign a new (fully voice acted) jarl- note that this may need a sands of time (only encounters) mod to be somewhat tweaked. maybe a quest incorporating the auriel blood-cursed arrow sun effect where you lead the vampire horde in to a town/ city and invade. this would need for that town/ city to be marked unessential. only occurs after a jarl is assassinated and the town revolts (voice acting needed for a courier to give you a message from a vampire in the city)sieges of the vampire holds and (consequently) the dawnguard stronghold. this will (hopefully) end up with a dynamic city control system- meaning you can lose cities and will need to flee the city, or face execution. this will require various scripts, voice acting and some secret passages. this will mean that you can lose men, and will need to rebuild your army and various vampiric advisers.i think it should be intended for a choice between a fairly climactic battle between the vampires and the ruler of skyrim (be it stormcloak or imperial.) using the blood-cursed arrows or taking power behind the scenes by enthralling ulfric/ tullius. however you do it, i think it would be fun to have an all powerful vampire lord in charge.Well, thank you for reading and if you embark on this project please note that I am fairly new to modding and am more proficient at writing dialogue than scripting and modelling. If this gets made it will completely overhaul the vampire- dawnguard experience, and will represent a leap forward in questing mods. Once more: thanks!
  12. ok, description of the breakage then. it's a simple crash-on-start due to the uninstallation of a discontinued mod without uninstalling the scripts. can anyone help, preferably without making me uninstall all my mods! thanks!
  13. it's all in the title; i want (you; yes, you!) to change predator vision so it's on permanently- with only a toggle between night vision and predator vision. as always, thanks.
  14. please can someone separate each set of 28 arrows into quivers which have to be replaced, playing a short animation when each quiver runs out. this would provide balancing and immersion (unlimited quivers? wtf!?) and it would provide the opportunity to provide a realistic limit to arrows, which aren't weighted, but quivers could be. my other mod idea was the separate arrow heads, which would work quite well and in fact would make a great combination: broad head dragonbone quiver (lets say it weighs 7 (?)) + barbed dragonbone quiver (weighing 8 ) + leaf shaped quiver (weighing 8 ) + harpoon (3 pronged) dragonbone quiver (weighing 10 ) or whatever. each arrow head has different properties in speed, damage, weight and how it sticks in (bleeding damage). i would love feedback about if it could be done, and if it can be done if you can do it or even just if you think it's a good idea which you could share. thanks.
  15. please, could someone just make a separate hot keyed sneak mode where you don't duck when sneaking, allowing for immersive stealthy pick-pocketing and (more importantly) allows you to aim properly with a bow even while sneaking. to reiterate, i want it so that, when you press a (toggleable) key it puts you into sneak mode without the ducking- but perhaps not replacing the duck (to retain the roll). thanks.

I broke skyrim after uninstalling and deleting a mod without deleting the scripts, i don't want to have to uninstall all my mods, but i do want to be able to play skyrim again. i checked the mod page, and they had deleted that version + i would need to do a clean install to upgrade to the next version so... help? thanks for any replies.

  18. my idea, not being a modder it can only be an idea, is that instead of the vanilla arrow creation, we could make arrow shafts and arrow heads separately. why would this be better than vanilla? because this could potentially be used to make a variety of arrow heads with varying damage and capabilities; this mod would (hopefully) build on other mods such as arrow recovery overhaul hunterborn and locational damage- this would allow for specialized arrow heads such as broadhead, barbed, leaf shaped, harpoon etc. these specializations would allow for various advantages in hunting (animals), wounding rather than killing (why it could build on locational damage) and arrow recovery (overhaul, anyone?) if made, this could completely overhaul the archer play-style. http://www.mispelit.com/ecourse/arrows.html thanks for reading. as with any suggestion i make; any response would be most helpful and appreciated- even if it is just to detail why it can't be done. thanks again.
  19. i uninstalled a mod without reading the instructions to disable the scripts (stupid, i know) and now skyrim crashes on opening- i tried reinstalling the mod that broke the game, but that's been taken off the site. i tried un/reinstalling skyrim- which didn't work. any help anyone can offer? thanks.
  20. a spell when used by npcs appears to make all their hits take tons of damage/ health decreases steadily after the spell hits.therefore health bar no longer gives indication, and means the fight could be going terribly leading to genuine fear which bethesda didn't think to do. forgot to mention originally, thank you for any response- even those saying it can't be done!
