nivea replied to SBranch1992's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Well there is a site wide issue going on, you can see information on the news page. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/news/926/ -
Well anime (FF is anime, its the style I love FF7 myself but its still anime) in Fallout series is just not my thing (I actually hate it myself) but its pretty popular. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/47248/ http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35097 http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/46509 http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/45640 http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/45215 http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/44312

Won't let me have companion mods
nivea replied to Naomixx's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Posting links would help, because some companions require other mods to work such as NCCS. Also how are you installing the mods, are you all up to date? -
Corruption from the site?
nivea replied to SBranch1992's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Whats the extension? .Zip? .Rar? .7z? .Fomod? Make sure what your using the extract them can open those files, and if its a .Fomod then you need Fallout mod manager to install the mod. -
Just making conversation, I should know better I suppose lol.

That is indeed a lot of work, but the female Powder Gangers is pretty simple. You can not house different genders in the same prison, thats just asking for trouble lol. Would prolly be best to make either all Powder Gangers female or make a brand new prison some place else. I mean if you want realism that is, thats never a requirement lol.

Damn, don't suppose you ever used the mod and still have the file? I can hope can't I lol. Its back up for download now.
-
You can install them as is, they use the same directory setup as FO3 which is great because you can simply install texture mods and replacers between each game. :)

The sleepwear was made by micalov who has asked to be banned and I guess remove all his mods. It was called Male Sleepwear Open.

Mod Compatibility/Wrye Flash for crash fixing
nivea replied to aresx130's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Ah, well sadly I do not use most the mods you have listed there. A Bashed patch might help you since it does help remove conflicts, but your best bet is to sadly go through the mods and turn them off a few at a time to see which one is causing the issue. Inventory Access would be my guess, but again you can only be sure by turning them off. -
Mod Compatibility/Wrye Flash for crash fixing
nivea replied to aresx130's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Crash on start means your missing a master of a mod, take some time and read the mods readme and find out which mod is missing. Or you could open Wyre and look for a mod that is bright red, that means its missing a master. -
I made new hair but I have texture problems
nivea replied to neko1kitty's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Me and a few others worked out getting the Hat version of hair to work. 1. You have to have EGM files for both objects (required for it to display, not just a good idea). 2. The NIF and EGM files must be contained in a BSA archive, and not loose files in the Meshes folder. The only problem is that both the Hat and NoHat object are forced to use the same texture files, and most of the hair conversions from other games don't have good textures for use on the Hat object. They must be in a bsa for the hat part to work, or just the fact that the hair egm are kinda screwed up in FNV? -
Help my game is being really buggy
nivea replied to nok1a's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
You have to many items either in your data folder or your load order, remove some of the .esp/.esm/.bsa. -

I made new hair but I have texture problems
nivea replied to neko1kitty's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Cool new male hair, very awesome! Have you gotten the hat version working? -
Mods are removed for two reasons: 1. The contained illegal content and where removed. 2. The mod maker decided to remove the mod. You should respect the mod markers wishes and not reupload or hand out mods you did not make yourself without permission.

First time using compatibility patches
nivea replied to SabbyNeko's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Firstly you should read the mods readmes, you need to make sure the mods your useing can actually be used together. WME and WMX are not and can never be compatible you need to pick one. Now a compatibility patches are needed when a mod lets say WMX edits a Weapon, now you want to use Project Nevada which edits that same exact weapon. Oh no, you now have a conflict! Thats when you get the the patch for WMX provided by Project Nevada: Project Nevada - WMX Support 1_3 http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/42363 Make sure you are actually useing the mod your getting patches for, most people complain about problems with crashing because they downloaded allllll the patches on a page only to find they are not even useing 90% of those mods. -
I use this for NPC faces: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/39325 http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/39218 It also sounds like your having ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated issues, you should make sure you used a program to turn that on ( I use FOMM for that).

Will never happen, it would require a entire rebuild of FO3 (for many different reasons) the most important being that FNV overwrites many things from FO3 voices/scripts/items which would need to be reworked.. Thats more work for Beth people on two finished and "dead" games, also the fact that Beth does NOT own the rights to all the assets so they would need to pay more money to get those licensed for both games. It will never be a official release that combines both games into one.

This is just a idea thread, I doubt anyone is going to make your companion for you.
-
Its not legal to do so, and since Nexus does not support illegal things or talk of illegal things. It would be best for you to drop it on here, and go buy the PC version because its better. :P

problem with willow companion and EVE
nivea replied to ExCheesecake's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Your clearly missing a master file, you have a mod that is dependent on a mod that you have not installed (such as a patch for a mod you do not have). You should slow down and make sure you read all the readme, they will more then likely provide you with links and information to any mods they require. I do not know most the mods on your load order, so I can not just point to one and say its the issue sadly.
