  1. God I love Ripley, she ranks at the top of my badasses of all times from a movie. I would totally hit that. :whistling: Thankfully FNV and FO3 seem to have more male/female normal clothing (not as much sexy male stuff though) then say...Oblivion or Skyrim (though Skyrim is thankfully better then Oblivion). I also have more lore friendly armors/clothing planned for my mod after I update it. :D
  2. Why not just use The Weapon Mod Menu, it lets you remove kits I use it with WMX by antistar (who made the mod from FO3 and the FNV makers took the idea from lol): http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/44515
  3. Either you make the item huge to fit over the armors (and by armors mod users will mean every armor in the game) and it will look silly on more fitted stuff (which they will complain about as well btw) or make it fitted and clip like crazy on the power armors. Even if it doesnt bother me at all for some clipping. Thats just something a modder will have to decide if they want to deal with, me I am just tired of the PMs I get already... so I will pass. :psyduck:
  4. As a clothing/armor modder for many games on nexus, the one thing people *censored* about the most... clipping of coats and cloaks over all the armors in game, they want it all removed which is of course impossible. Thus most modders do not add items like that to games if they are smart.... Which I am not since I made a cloak mod for Skyrim, never again... never again. While I would like to see some, I would not make the mod myself ever.
  5. You need to rig it to the Brahmin, import the hat in Blender (or 3dmax if your rich) and delete all the skeleton and rigging from it. Then import the Brahmin and position and rig the hat to it. This is what I had to do to put all the hats on my dogs. If you know nothing of getting armors in game ect, this might help. http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Fallout._Part_1
  6. Sadly while I love Arcade too, its not legally possible to port him and post him on nexus. There where mods that let you play FO3 and FNV in the same game, then you could have Arcade (any companion really) in either game. But those mods got taken down for legal reasons. Also Rarity <3
  7. And you removed all the ini files in your My Games -> FalloutNV folder? Damn, thats very very odd... Afraid only thing I can suggest is to try and check the steam people or even the beth forums: http://forums.bethsoft.com/forum/112-fallout-new-vegas-pc-issues/
  8. So this is a 100% total fresh install, where you went through and uninstalled the game then delete the data folder and any mods within then removed the files in the My games (the INI manly). And then redownloaded the game from Steam, and with no mods it crashes? I highly suggest if you are installing mods, you take the time to make sure your installing them and managing them correctly. Mods are not somthing you want to skimp reading up on. I do not know how to get help from steam, but the links are at the bottom of the steam page: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1223-QROC-4460
  9. I wouldnt use a bsa unless its a really large mod with a lot of pieces, other wise no real need to do so unless your really wanting to.
  10. Why on earth would you be mucking around in the original bsa? You should NEVER play around in the original bsa unless you really know what your doing, the only time to do that is when your extracting stuff from them never putting new stuff in (again unless you really know what your doing and you have to do it). You should just put the mesh in the mesh folder, Data\meshes\creatures\brahmin\ [Edit] Oop misread I thought you where saying you where adding the mesh TO the meshes.bsa. Problem with bsa is they pick up the pathing of where ever you make them, make a brand new folder on your desktop and name it Data then add the meshes folders (in their full paths) meshes\creatures\brahmin\. Then pack that up in the bsa, also note your bsa should be named the same as your .esp (minus the esp part).
  11. Is your game updated to the lastest patch?
  12. You can use Fallout Mod Manager (I use FOMM) or even NMM I think to do it as well, do not know if that would be somthing your useing or not. Make sure your fallout_default.ini is in the right place in your Fallout New Vegas folder.
  13. That means either your missing a texture, or you need to ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35935
  14. They are in their respected .bsa, you can use FOMM to extract them or http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/34
  15. Thats..thats a lot of posts lol. XD
  16. Hehe we all do that at some point, hopefully that is what your problem was!
  17. Yes, and you're so lovely yourself, throwing a hissy fit and taking your mod down the second your mod was used in a way you didn't like. Which is something that is just going to happen, nature of the beast, and all. Don't want your mod misused? Don't upload. But then again, you can't even handle somebody mentioning a problem they had with your mod, which only mattered because you took the file down so the corrupted one could not be replaced, so it's hardly surprising. Seriously, you're on the internet, grow a thicker skin. Do you need a primer, or something? I'm not even looking for a script command. I'm looking for one setting. All I wanted to know was if I needed to adjust "x" or "posx." Nothing so complicated it's worth downloading a mod for. I really wasnt being condescending, I was being truthful I understand mods conflict and can cause issues when they do. I hope you can find the Game settings your looking for, in FNVEdit in the Game setting section I found values: fOverShoulderPosX value 40.000000 Maybe that is what your looking for?
  18. Well arent you a charming and lovely person. It is not my fault or really any modders fault if a mod conflicts with other mods, thats how it goes. Just like YOUR mod conflicts and has a chance of screwing up someones game, since you edited the level lists now your mod conflicts with others. Nature of the beast and all. I suggested that mod, because it allows you full control over your camera positions. But if you must do it yourself, you could download the mod and see what the settings are and then delete the mod after that. Because I sadly do not have the commands you need.
  19. Is your game fully up to date? Most mods now require the last patch, if you do not have it then things will not show up in game.
  20. I highly suggest this mod: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/37632
  21. Ohhh this has been VERY helpful, I shall have to test it out!
  22. You most the time can not do it in nifskope, you need a program like Blender. http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Fallout._Part_1
  23. That is my Veronica, its a combo of my own edits and: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/45221
  24. Because real men wear kilts, and they are based on the whole roman theme which is why they wear what they do. You could try this mod, while it still has some "skirts" in it they do look 100% more badass: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/45557
