  1. I use Multiple Enchantments and it works fine for me (actually, it's a very creative way to do it), just remember to take a Varla Stone with you ;). I also recommend Transfer Enchant.
  2. look here: Quest award leveler: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2119 I want the weapon to level automatically, not by using an item to change it manually.
  3. I'm looking to make a weapon that levels along with the player, which I know is possible, but I have no idea how to go about doing it. If someone could either point me in the direction of a mod that does this so I can pick it apart, or post a description of how to do it I would be grateful (or post a link to a tutorial). Thanks in advance.
  4. Has anyone found or made and Elven Furniture resource? I've looked around, found many good furniture resources, but nothing that looks "elven" to me. Has anyone out there found one?
  5. I posted this in it's own thread before I saw this topic. Please excuse. I've seen it before, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is. It's the armor to the left of the Coyote Reflex Armor: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/3365-1-1240540940.jpg
  6. Post Deleted & Moved to "Mod Detectives" thread.
  7. I have an idea for a mod, but in order to pull it off, I need a particular, very large, static object made. If I had any modeling skills myself I'd make it myself. I'm looking for a model of a large container ship, Panamax or even bigger. Interior details, doors, etc, can come form the Rivet City tile set, and there is already a resource for the containers. I just need the ship itself. Anyone what to make it?
  8. Is it just me, or does "Point Lookout" feel a lot like "The Shivering Isles" from Oblivion?
  9. Nothing on that list leaps out and screams that it's the one doing it. I would recommend turning them all off, then testing. Then, one at a time, turn them back and test again. When the issue reappears, you have the mod responsible.
  10. There are mods that take away the "VATS invulnerability". What mods are you using?
  11. 1.6 fixed all the problems I was having. Stable (mostly, what game is nowadays) and the two major plugin bugs are gone, and with the new FOSE, all is good in the Fallout world...;).
  12. If I understand your problem correctly: Yes. How to fix it: I don't know.
  13. If you did the Dark Brotherhood quest where you kill the Dark Elf in the IC prison, you can't start the main quest, since he's needed to start things rolling.
  14. 592: Roland Jenseric is the richest man in the Empire. He always had 250 more gold to buy that Vampire Dust...
  15. in my current game, I just recently started encountering Minotaurs. I was being chased by one because I was close to Cheydinhal and I figured that the guard and stablehand could help out. Much to my surprise, the Minotaur ran right past all three of us and WENT INTO THE CITY (it activated the door and disappeared). I'm not running OOO, Open Cities, or anything like that, and had never seen anything like it happen before. The guard and stablehand followed the beast and, after a moment of standing there shocked, so did I. I had a fun couple of minutes watching the entire city attack the Minotaur. Minotaur 0 City Folk 1
  16. The more intelligent (and commonly used) way of solving that is to pick a single "sponsored" ending and carry on from that one. That's how Lucas Arts handles the Light Side/Dark Side endings in the various Star Wars games. They pick one (usually Light), and call it the "canon" ending.
  17. What would I like to see in TESV? Huge, I mean a HUGE area. The initial release would have Cyrodiil, Valenwood, and Elsweyr. The 1st expansion would add Black Marsh and Morrowind, and the 2nd expansion would add High Rock, hammerfell and Skyrim. What would be the point of it all (the "main quest")? It could be a mission to find an heir ot the throne and reunite the Empire, or you could be sent to find out who is turning the provinces against each other and then stop a foreign invasion (like, maybe the Ka Po' Tun from Akavir). The borders of the provinces would act like portals if the region is installed, if not they would act like they do now ("you can't go there, turn back" messages). This would keep the maps reasonable sized, and allow for it to modular. What would I like to see gameplay wise? 1) More people. I know what more people do to TESIV performance, but there has to be a way to add more NPCs without giving them all unique scripts. 2) Less linear side/guild quests. In addition, you shouldn't be able to become the head of the guild in less than a month...maybe you could just become a champion (someone metioned this, and I like the idea) 3) Interface config options, like turning on/off the quest arrow, smaller interface fonts, less intrusive compass and health bar, etc... 4) Built in PROFILE MANAGER, with the ability to custom config the mods the profile would use (possibly complex to do, but possible). 5) Tweak the TESIV engine to make it a little prettier, but with an eye towards stability (CTDs are getting old...) 6) More voice actors (I'm sure this is more a a budget thing though...) 7) Character creation has all those options for altering the face of the character, how about that much effort for customizing the body? Body mods like Roberts, BAB, Exnem, etc are great, but with the face settings the way they are, the body should be just as customizable. So you could have your voluptuous figure with huge cans, or a slim and athletic woman. Additionally, you could have Conan the Barbarian or a lean and mean thief. 8. What class the clothing is from should affect how people react to you (and yes, I know there's a mod that does this). Optionally, how much skin coverage the clothing has (you could do this with a single variable in the CS, that covers the range form full coverage, to skimpy). People should react if you run around almost naked... 9) The temperature should affect you character. If it's cold, and you aren't wearing much, you should loose Fatigue, if it's REALLY cold, you could loose Health. 10) Seasonal affects, snow accumulates, leaves fall from trees, etc. It would cause serious performance issues if not done properly, but it could be done. It would be all right if the game just changed the ground texture and tree after it snows, and just had some leaves falling during the fall. That's all for now. I'm forgetting things, but I don't want to bore you more... Edit: Oh, I remembered something. This is the reason none of you should want an MMO: MODS. GO. OUT. THE. WINDOW. Great for the Consoles, bad for the PC. With Morrowind still selling (and Oblivion probably will for the foreseeable future), Bethesda is (hopefully) smart enough to realize this, as evidenced by the existence of the FREE Construction Set.
