  1. Icons in the Inventory Issue: this issue is very likely caused by not running SKSE64 - as SkyUi Requires SKSE64 to function properly. so not launching the game via SKSE means SkyUi will not work properly, thus resulting in said blank boxes (As SkyUi Affects every single Inventory Menu) Freezing in the Inventory: this is very likely Caused by Save Bloat, however their is potential that the same issue as Above could be Applicable here as well. as for the crashes, this is most probably script related based on the fact you have been running the game for a while, which in turn means the saved games will be bigger, and scripts have a very heavy presence on Saved Games which is very likely the reason for CTDs in long term Saved Games (As in Issues that Arise much Later in the Games Life span Regarding Saved Games, simply put, Issues that Arise when you have Several Hours in your Current Active Playthrough). Skyrim's Stability Decreases Over Time, making it more prone to crashing/Freezing/Other Unwanted Issues, having a lot of active scripts or constant firing scripts can greatly speed up this inevitable fate. so to help determine if this is Script Related, how big are your Saved Games in Comparison to Much Older Saved Games (Saved Games that were created on a New Game if still present) Also Note: Some Mods Require Dirty Edits to Function, and if the Author of Said mods did not Notify the LOOT Team, then LOOT will not notify you, so hopefully for your sake you read all the important information for all mods you cleaned before cleaning them. So Potential Cause for Said CTD Issues: Save Bloat: Caused by Heavily Scripted Setup or Badly Made Scripted Mods (as in mods that have their scripts firing constantly) - this issue, is very prone to making the game CTD, Freeze, Crash, and also cause ILS (Infinite Load Screen Issue) i am going to guess based on the information given, the cause for your CTDs are very likely Save Bloat. if the Load Order is 100% and their are Absolutely No Issues found in xEdit, then the only other possible cause would be Script Related which would be Save Bloat. or 3rd party Software interfering with Skyrim. (Overlays, Antivirus, pretty much any active Process that is running whilst you are Playing Skyrim) CTD and Freezing has a very high chance of being Caused by Save Bloat, However these 2 Issues can also be Caused by Resource Intensive Processes or Simply Many Processes running all At Once whilst you are Playing Skyrim. And Finally, Hardware Related Issues Such as: Overheating, Invalid Resources, or Unstable Hardware. will Definitely Cause CTDs, Freezing, Crashing, BSODs, and System Crashes, Freezing, Shutdown Note: the last part of this reply regarding Hardware is mainly General Information, not necessarily relating to your current issues at hand, however it is still relevant and could very well be Applicable and thus the cause of the issues at hand assuming all other information given is not the cause.
  2. 1. that means you did not install it properly. when you batch build in bodyslide make sure the Build Morphs Box is Selected/Checked (literally the box next to Batch Build Button), and then Batch Build again, this then gives you more notches (in other words you will be able to go all the to 100) in race menu CBBE section, i think anyway, not really sure, as i use XPMSE options anyway which gives the same options and more. 1a, Also Ensure you have XPMSE Installed - I Believe XPMSE also gives you a plethora of options in Racemenu, for customizing all properitions from head size to hand size, breast size, etc etc, complete customization. 2. yea, on the Outfit/Preset Drop Down Box, Navigate to CBBE Body and Click on Build. this will then make the Naked Body, Different to Clothed Body. Note: Outfit/Preset Dropdown box - CBBE Body = Naked Female Body indipendant of Armor and or Clothing Note: Batch Build Will build Everything to the Selected Preset including the Naked Female Body, so in order to Have Specific Proportions for both Naked and Clothed, you will need to Manually Build just the CBBE Body after Batch Building. Note: To Manually Build the body, You literally Select the CBBE Body in the Outfit/Preset Drop Down Box - and then click on Build - (Not Batch Build)
  3. Solitude Expansion and Helgen Reborn both contain Scripts, so disabling them will not help. Helgen Reborn should not give problems, i have used that mod for a very long time, and completed it multiple times. so i have no idea. as for the other 2 mods, i have absolutely no experience with them. i will have a look at your mod list again, to see if their is any potentional conflict with helgen reborn, which their could very well be, given its location. Potentional Conflicts: Lanterns Of Skyrim - (might place laterns in helgen area) with that said. check all of your mods to see if any of them edit near helgen. it will be much quicker for you to do this, as you can simply click on the links for all of your mods.
  4. amazing follower tweaks has an option to summon all Followers, however if said followers use their own Framework, AFT will not work properly on them. Amazing Follower Tweaks: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6656
  5. Download and Run LOOT: https://loot.github.io and also Wrye Bash: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6837 For LOOT click on the Statistics Icon (Sort Load Order) and take note of any Errors or Dirty Edits it mentions For Wrye Bash - Scroll right to the bottom of the left pane window - Right Click on Bash Patch and Click on Rebuild Patch - on the window that popsup click on Skip - then on the next window click on Build Patch after you have done both tasks, see if you can progress. A New Game will be Required.
  6. other possible issues are a Script Heavy Setup, or Simply Script Issues. disable all mods that edit/add or change scripts. then see if you can progress further. this will ofcourse require a new game, so it wont help immediately to determine what mods are causing issues. if their is no conflicts with any mod, then it will be the mods themselves that are causing issues. or the papyrus system being overwhelmed, caused by a heavily scripted setup, or badly scripted mods. Note: It is Very Important that you Re-Build the Bash Patch every time you add or Remove (or Disable) a Mod, failing to do so will also cause CTDs on its own. When testing mods by disabling 5 at a time, ensure the Bash Patch is disabled, until you figure out which mod(s) caused the issue, then when you can successfully progress without CTD, then you Re-Enable the Bash Patch.
  7. First of all go to your Skyrim Data folder, and check to see if the file is actually their if it is not then proceed below: open Steam - click on Library - Click on Games - right click on Skyrim - Properties - Click on Local Files Tab - Click on Verify the Integrity of Game Files Steam should then Re-Download said Missing File. "failed to read Fontconfig.txt" is most likely connected to the supposed missing file.
  8. this mod is a solution to taking ages to get up from being knocked down: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5890 to become immune to knockdowns would require adding the no knockdown flag to any Race Record Entry you wish to play as, however this will not be disreable as it will also make every single npc of that race immune to knockdowns, which in turn would make Unlrelenting force redundant. so if you can live with that, i can tell you how to do it yourself, which will require the Creation Kit as for stagger immunity this will require a perk entry. i could create a mod that adds both of these (Stagger Immunity and Immunity to Knockdowns) if you desire. but just know that Immunity to knockdowns will effect every single NPC that will use the same race that you wish to have this flag applied to. both of these is very easy to do, and would take only a few minutes to make. so if their is interest in this, i will go ahead and make it. for the immunity to stagger, i could add it directly to a race of your choosing, or add it as a pickable perk. if i apply it to a race of choosing, then every single npc of said race will also be immune to stagger. where as i add it as a pick-able perk, only you will be immune to stagger, however as said, immunity to knockdowns can only be applied directly to a race record, which means all npcs of the race get it, or none.
  9. Delete the Orginal Immersive Creatures ESP that comes with the mod, and keep the Patch file. since it has the same name as the bsa files, everything will still work. which is also why the patch is named exactly as the original file, becuase of the Bsa files that Immersive Creatures includes. basically the BSA files must be named the same as the ESP file (And Vice Versa), in order for the game to load them. which is why the patch for immersive creatures has the exact same name. using a mod manager would of asked you to replace either file with the other. so it was intended to be installed via a Mod Manager. Note: The Patch file is slightly bigger in size.
  10. first of all you have patches to mods that dont exist. Example: Missives - JK Skyrim.esp But their is no JKs Skyrim.esp which implies you have probably removed JKs Skyrim, but did not delete the patch. was JKs Skyrim removed in the active playthrough or was it removed before starting a new game ? Second: Download and Run LOOT to give you a Good Base Start for a Correct Load Order, and to also see if their is any problems with your current setup. be sure to read any Errors, or Dirty Edits, LOOT mentions, and then report back here with said information, and i will advise further LOOT: https://loot.github.io and lastly Download and Run Wrye Bash to Merge Leveled Lists Wrye Bash: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6837 run it - on the right pane window scroll right down to the bottom - Right Click on Bash Patch,0 and Select Rebuild Patch - then on the window that pops up click on Skip - then on the next window that pops up, click on Build Patch Note: since The Load Order will have now Changed, you will require a new game. this stuff i mentioned with LOOT and Wrye Bash, should of been done before starting a New Game. so as such a New Game will now be Required. otherwise you will run into even more issues. Note: Wrye Bash will notify of any mods Missing Master Files, and Will Disable said mods, this in itself will already fix some issues, so take note of the mods it disabled, and either download their Required Files, or keep them disabled. if unsure, you can also reply back here with any mod that was disabled, and i can advise further on said mods.
  11. link us to both mod pages, and i will check it out, and advise. (i know what to look for, and can compare files)
  12. download Quickloot RE: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21085?tab=files Quickloot SE is old Quickloot RE is the updated version and fully Supports Skyrim SE as well as the Latest versions of SKSE64 the Plugins folder is refeering to SKSE64 Plugin Folder, this will require manually placing the dll files into SKSE64 Plugin Folder. i am not sure how SKSE64 Works with Mod Organizer however, since SKSE must be installed in its own folder in Skyrim's Data Folder. As SKSE64 is used to launch the game. however all mods installed in Mod Organizer is moved into a Virtual Drive. so i dont know how that would work with SKSE64 dependent Mods (as they would require SKSE64 to be launched, which launches the game).
  13. Download Alternate Start Live Another Life: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/272 then on a new game, go to the mara statue and choose: I was caught crossing the border illegally this will then give you the original start without the buggy intro. then you will get a quest marker to retrieve a journal from a burnt corpse, go ahead and follower the quest marker, retrieve the journal, read it, it will trigger another quest, follower the quest marker again, choose a side at the appropriate time, once done, then will then trigger the main quest. (i am writing this extra bit of information to eliminate any confusion, should you decide to download and install Alternate Start, and have never used it before)
  14. the solution is to uninstall all your porn simulator mods, then start a new game (mandatory because scripted mods cannot simply be uninstalled in an active playthrough and will cause even more issues if a new game is not made, due to the fact scripts bake into the save files, which will lead to Saved game corruption), and see if the problem persists you are using mods that have been well known in the past for causing a lot of issues for many people back in the oldrim days. the papyrus system has not been upgraded for Skyrim SE so any issues it would have had in oldrim, will still be present in Skyrim SE from what i gather, Sexlab is very script intensive, running it with even more script intensive mods, is bound to cause issues, even on its own + addons is already reaching a risky situation, due to the script intensity. Note: i have never used it myself personally and dont ever intend on using it, but i have seen a lot of posts with this mod and its addons mentioned in an aweful lot of posts with people having problems with their games. its not a coincendence that this mod is mentioned in the majority of them. and this is in all the years i have been playing skyrim, which is from 2012. so thats 7 years. So yea because you have a script intensive setup, that is a very likely cause for the issue at hand, and am suprised you are not experiencing even more severe issues, such as Save Bloat, Freezing and Crashing. So Possible Causes: Script heavy Setup, or simply too many mods affecting the Followers. both of which are caused by the same mods.
  15. happy to help  as for the freezing when switching to female, i believe this is caused by using an excessive amount of body, face and hair mods. i also freeze for like 10 seconds when switiching to female characters in character creation (males seem to load instantly however), but likewise i am using an excessive amount of mods for females, such as Ks Hairdos (700 odd hairs) and also Apachii hairstyles which basically takes my total amount of availble hairs for females to like almost 1000, Lind's Human Eyes (ported myself for private use, absolutely no issues with it), Neithteam warpaints and another oldrim face paint mod which the name escapes me (which i also ported both for private use) and Lifelike idle animations mod (which is another mod that only works on females for ovbious reasons) so yea. it is very minor issue though compared to all the goodies we get for ultimate customization  and the freeze is literally only when swapping to female for the very first time, the freeze is completely eliminated after that. i am thinking the freeze is caused by having too many available hairs, as the game would need to load all of them within the same time it takes to switch to female (i believe is how it works). plus i am also using 8K Skin textures for my females, so yea thats a lot to process for the game. i very much doubt its the mods themselves causing the issues however, rather its because i have a ridiculous amount of them. as the mods themselves have absolutely no issues, with the extensive time i have spent using em.
  16. the issue sounds like either: 1. one or more of your mods is missing master files, this will cause an immediate CTD upon game load - however LOOT should of pointed this out. i dont know how Vortex works in comparison to NMM but in the Plugin Section it should highlight mods with missing master files in red. so should Vortex not include this feature, Download and Run Wrye Bash, and see if it disables any mods (if a mod is missing a master file, Wrye Bash will notify of this and disable the mod that is missing the Requirement) 2. access privileges rights: Run SKSE As Administrator (right click on skse_loader, and click on Run As Administrator) Note: Right Click on skse_loader - click on Compatability, and tick the box Run As Administrator, do the same for Skyrim.exe and Skyrimlauncer.exe. this ensures you have proper Access Privileges. which 9 times out of 10 fixes programs refusing to load.
  17. are you using custom followers with follower management mods by any chance (or just follower management mods) seems like an issue that would be related to this if applicable. if not can you list your load order, so we can see if their is a potential issue. otherwise it might script issues. Note: Follower management mods, are not just limited to Amazing Follower tweaks, Extensible follower framework etc etc, it also includes My home is your home, and basically any mod that would directly interact with followers. other mods that would interact directly to followers would be Flower Girls, and literally any mod that can change or add dialogue to followers. all of these mods would be potentional culprits. as this is a dialogue related issue, this could very well be caused by any mod i mentioned. or even just script related problems.
  18. higher quality textures, will keep their detail the closer you are to it, (such as zooming in) lower quality textures will look bad the closer you get to it, and very low resolution textures will look terrible regardless of distance but ,even more so the closer you get to it. (regardless of monitor resolution). the only difference is, lower quality textures will look even worse on a higher resolution monitor, however higher quality textures will look better on a higher resolution monitor, simply because they will be more defined on a higher resolution monitor 4K textures Will look Very Good regardless whether its viewed on a 1080p or 4k monitor. Ultra HD Textures do not lose quality when using lower resolution monitors. For Reference, i am on a 1080p monitor, and run my game almost exclusively with 4k - 8k textures, and my game looks amazing, far better then if every texture was 1k, if my game was exclusively using 1k textures, it would look far inferior. For Higher Resolution Textures, the only thing Required is more Video Ram (and harddrive space, as higher resolution textures are considerably bigger in size).but yea the main thing you will want is more Vram as textures Exclusively use Video Memory. if you are Planning to run a game full of 4k and Higher Textures, you will want atleast 8GB of Vram. which is almost standard these days, especially as graphics cards are starting to ship with 12 GB of Vram, as this trend continues, then it is only a matter of time where 8GB vram will be the new minimum. to really highlight this post however, is simply look at an 8K texture compared to a 1k texture of the same texture, and you will see a huge difference. Simply Put, yes 1080p Will render a 4K Texture, and it will look Very Good.
  19. i see you have a few Oldrim mods in your load order. Oldrim mods will not work in Skyrim Special Edition, unless properly ported. if they are not properly ported, they will cause all sorts of issues, ranging from CTDs to other issues. Oldrim BSA files will not Work in Skyrim Special Edition at all, they would need to be Extracted and Re-Packaged using Skyrim SE archive Tool. Oldrim ESP files will need to converted to Form 44 Oldrim Mesh Files will need to be Optimized, or they will cause CTDs Oldrim Cubemaps will need to be Compressed to Bc7 or they will cause CTDs when attempting to view items that are using the uncompressed Cubemaps. Re-Enable the mods that have been disabled by Wrye Bash, then open Wrye Bash, Rebuild Bash Patch - Click on Skip When it Asks to Merge Mods - then on the next window, untick the box that says Merged Mods, it is not nessrary to merge mods if you are below 255 Active Plugins (you only have 130 plugins, nowhere near 255, merging anything that is not Leveled lists is completely redundant and can do more harm then good), then Build the Patch Again, so it only merges leveled lists. As mentioned in the Above Reply, Run LOOT and take note of any issues it mentions. Note: their is a very good chance that all of the Oldrim mods you are using, are the reasons why your game is unstable, because they are not ported properly.
  20. 1. Caused by using a Higher FOV then Default, and Sneaking, however this does not really bother me that much (i am using Customizable Camera Mod, which basically fixes this issue or at the very least makes it less of an issue) 2. this is Fixed by changing this line in the IPFV.Config: StabilizeHistoryDuration = 0.0 (Change to 20.0) assuming you are using a mod that gives your character 360 animations, and thus makes the 1st person camera spin around when moving backwards, otherwise, customizable camera and 3rd person camera overhaul fixes this issue completely. 2a: Go here = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\NetScriptFramework\Plugins - and open IPFV.Config (and search for StabilizeHistoryDuration) 3. I Don't Experience this issue, as i use Quickloot RE
  21. Oldrim BSA files will not Work on Skyrim SE as for porting the mod, we can not port it without permission from the original Author
  22. this enb is probably what you are looking for: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1089 the reason, is because the fantasy effect on realvision simply made the game more colourful, and somewhat sharper image. then enb i linked, also makes the game more colourful, however it has a much sharper image (which i see as a positive) then Realvision and is much more demanding the ENb's on Skyrim SE will be much more advanced then older ones for Oldrim because of the new Enbseries binaries and also because of the new effects that Skyrim SE adds anyway, which the ENB's enhance. my favorite Enb for Oldrim Would be Project ENB, the enb i linked is closer to Project ENB so thats another thing to factor. Sharp Image, Colourful, and makes the game look Gorgeous. i have tried several Skyrim SE enb, but i always default back to Skyrim Re-Engaged as i just love the visuals it offers, reminding me a lot of Project ENB back in oldrim Days, which to me was the best ENB
  23. i prefer Immersive First Person View by Meh321 with a bit a tweaking, it works perfectly for me and since it uses the third person camera as a first person camera, that means it does not require patches for custom armors, which in turn means more mods for you. joy of perspective requires patches to work with custom armors, which in itself means less mods for you. as a hardcore modder myself, i prefer more mods, which means patches for mods = less mods for me. with a bit of tweaking to Immersive First Person View Settings, it will offer the same benefits as Joy of Perspective, with less hassle (as you only need to edit a single setting, rather then download multiples of patches). it is essentially the same as Enhanced Camera for Oldrim, which was the Best of its kind (General Consesus), and still makes me wonder why Joy of Perspective was ported over Rather then Enhanced Camera. Either way, Immersive first person view, literally just works (after a bit of tweaking to its settings). so to answer the question: Immersive First Person View - Pros: offers first person view - Cons: Requires a bit of tweaking (Via User Input, however this is a minor con, and can be remedied quickly and easy, providing you know what to edit) Joy of Perspecitive - Pros: offers first person view - Cons: Requires Patches for Custom Armor and Clothing Enhanced Camera - Pros: offers first person view - Cons: Requires Porting For Oldrim: Enhanced Camera works straight out of the box, making it the best of its kind as it will literally be plug and play requiring no user input. Note: Immersive First Person View, does have its requirements however, but its requirements are not active plugins so thats why i did not include it as a con.
  24. using and applying bodyslide is a very simple process. i have no idea why it is not working for you, all the solutions i come up with are valid for multiple different causes. since you have no possible cause for the issue, i can no longer help.
  25. then the issue could very well be Vortex it self, so check your Skyrim Data Folder, and see if any mod is in their, as i know Vortex is also made by the Same Guy that made Mod Organizer so i dont know if Vortex also uses a Virtual Drive. if it does then that will be the reason, if it does not, then you are going to need to check every single 1 of your mods, and see if any of them modify Keerava so download SSEedit, open every mod, then start clicking on the little plus sign next to each mod, look for Non Playable Character Record Entry, click on the Plus sign on this record entry, then locate Keerava. report back here, every mod that modifies her, then i will investigate further. Note: For the record i have never even touched Vortex at all, and do not know much about it, i Use NMM, Wrye Bash and Manual. Judging from a lot of topics i have seen on Vortex, it seems Vortex does not work with Every Mod, CBBE Could easily be 1 of them.
