  1. I hade the same thing happen, Not sure what mod it was that changed it for me. Did a clean reinstall and still had the same thing happen. I also have NO cool down time for the shout. After doing the console command to get a soul (only after killing a dragon) a few times I reactivated dragonborn DLC, and now I can absorb souls, But still no cool down. Not a big deal for me as I don't use the shout that much.
  2. You have black because you have too many textures. Open your mod exterior, A good thing I found to do is click the B key, It shows the boundaries of the cells, Open Landscape Edit Settings, Make sure the render window is active, Scrool over the cell with the black in it. Click the i button and it should open a box with four boxs called quads. You can only have a max of 6 per quad. If you have 7 or more you will get the black area and will need to delete one or more till you only have 6. Pick one (I go for the one with the smallest %) right click it, Delete it and the black should be gone, In CK and the game. Hope this get's it done for you.
  3. Howdy Roserosenbergfr; I went thru a similar issue with a landscaping problem. I was referred to TES Alliance, Lession #3. I was a little hesitant at first, But it is an "Awesome" site. Just give it a try and I am sure you will place it in your favorites as I did. I would try to explain it to you but as they say " A picture is worth a thousand words". Hope this helps you, I know it did me.
  4. @ Bess and Valkasha, It's been awhile but yes it is indeed "Grass" I was talking about. Just where I come from the grass dosen't look like that (I guess) and after kicking my stubborn pride to the curb and really reading the TES Alliance Lesson, from introduction on, having my computer crash like Rusty Wallace at Talladega in 93, I had to start from scratch on a new house. Using TES and you guy's telling me it was grass, I now have a new house free of grass (I still don't think it looks like grass). Thanks a bunch.
  5. @ Rabbit51 I decided to try the IrfanVeiw program (Just did it on a computer I don't use much) and am very impressed. It will take 20/30/40 files at a time and convert all from BMP to JPG at one time and fast like.......a rabbit. If I don't get much interference while using, Might try it on my game computer, better then transferring the files back and forth. Thanks a bunch
  6. @ Gunthral, I got Bandicam. Works pretty good, Don't do the video thing, But the screen shot works great and saves in JPG. Thanks @ Rabbit51, I went to the link you provided. Took me there, But as with any "FREE" download looks like you get the addded feature (Download.com, Fileforum, Techspot, Ect.) I myself would rather pay to install a program then have unwanted programs on my computer. But thanks for the link. Do you know of one that will batch convert without the added stuff? Again thanks for the help

  8. I did a search, But came up empty. Is there a way to change a setting so the screen shots saved in the skyrim folder, (The "print sceen" Not the "F12" saves) to Jpg not bmp? I take alot of them and seems kinda silly to save 5.04 MB bmp vs 250 KB JPG. Thanks in advance for any help

  10. @ Bess, First off, Thanks for giving me an answer. I didn't find the answer I was looking for but WOW, I wish I would have known about TES Alliance a year or so ago (Before I pulled out all my hair trying to figure the CK out). I still can't get rid of those fricking plants, But Now I can rasie the ground over them. Ideally removing them would be better but....I have posted a few more pics. The 1st is with nothing done. 2nd with the ground lifted over them, and 3rd is from under the ground. As you can see the plants/grass/weeds what ever you want to call them (A pain in the A$$ is what I call them) are still there. Too late to do the ground lifting thing on the stuff I am working on, But was looking for a way to add a wood mill and now I can just add a stream. Thanks again
  11. Not the grass, The Plants sitting on the grass. Now if you go to a place that has a farm, The area where their plants are, Cabbage, Potatoes, Ect. there aren't any of these plants. If you are using the CK and you go to an area where the "Annoying plants" I'm talking about are and flip it so you are under the ground looking up as it were, You can see the are separate items, Not the grass.

  13. Simple question, I hope. Is there any way to get rid of those annoying plant things that seem to be every where I want to build a house? I went and looked from the bottom up And can see they are not just part of the ground. I have tried clicking on them, Drag a box around them and nothing comes up. Any help would be awesome
  14. @ Chevyowner (Ihave a 76 c10) No it does not. I put like a bra on the bed and a corset hanging on the bed post, To try to give it that "Lived in" look. I am using the UNP body, So I can't use them with my player or npc's anyhow. As far as the Creation kit goes, I didn't know that. I will give it a shot. I know this is like apples and oranges, But in the GECK you could do that all day and see it there, But in game none of the stuff would show up. Thanks for the help.
  15. My mod is an ESP. I wanted to use some of the clothes from Sweet and Sexy in my mod. So I went to Wyre brush, opened Sweet and Sexy and made that mod a master not mine, So I could open it at the same time as my mod and pull the things in to it. That is (as far as I know) the only way to do it. Because you can not set two ESP's as "Active" at the same time, But with Sweet and Sexy being an ESM, I could open my mod and it at the same time. Now as far as if there is another way to do it.... I did most of my learning on the GECK and that's how it is done there. Again thanks in advance for any help.
  16. I have a mod (House) that I have been working on for awhile (On and off about a year) and I added a Master that I would now like to remove. First off I have ABSOLUTELY NO INTENTION OF ADDING IT TO THE NEXUS OR ANY OTHER MOD SITE so I did not get permission from the author sorry nikitaa. When I put it on (Sweet and Sexy Lingerie) I was going to do the clothes hanging around the room thing, But have decided to not do it basically becase of room and the work involved. I Made it a master thru Wyre Bash as per a video I seen someplace. Now I can't figure out how to remove it. If I try to remove the ESM from Wyre brush, I get an error messsage saying something like "Can not find master file Sweet and Sexy Lingerie" in CK, And the game will CTD at startup. I don't tink it is really hearting anything by having it there, just would like to remove it from my mod but not the game. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
  17. I am new to the "Mass Effect" series. Long story made short, Home sick (Bronchitis) Had the game on my shelf, So thought I would give it a go again. Tried to play it once and couldn't figure it out. Stuck in the big ship (Can't recall the name) Runnig around, or zipping around space in a mini one. Now that I got that part figured out, this is a cool game. I have more missions to do now then I could have ever imagined. Now for the reason I am here. I have, In my inventory, 3 Sniper rifles, 5 Assault rifles, 2 or 3 sub machine guns, I think 4 shot guns and 3 heavy pistols! Is there away to get rid of some of them? My weight is as red as it can get. -200 If I get rid of them will it help that? I tried to change them in the load order and the best I could get, Without making them empty was -200. I have done countless searches for an answer and have had NO luck at all, But have always had good luck checking the Nexus community. Hope some one see's this, This is the only post here, But on a good note, Should make it easy to track (o:. Thanks in advance for any help.
  18. Well I watched a video on it by Darkfox127 about making a custom container . It has stuff on a shelf that stays put. It involves some work with the scripts, Default Block Activation and Default Disable Havok on Load, Then changing the propertys and checking the box Don't Havok settle. Well long story short, The container part worked great, But the stuff I put on the shelf, Not so good. I didn't think this was going to be a such a thing to do! @ Faelrin, So if I want to place some rabbit, Cabbage, plates ect. on a table, I would have to go thru and change all of them one at a time. As common as this is througout the game, It just seems like there would be a simple way to do it. If I remember correctly in the GECK you check or uncheck playable and it will or will not move. UGHHHH!!!! Sorry, whining like little girl. Thanks for the suggesttion, I will give it a try. It may not be as complicated as it sounds.
  19. Ok I have been digging around and can not figure this out! I made a small house and have it working good but.... When I place somthing on a table, in the CK it looks great, But in game it's all messed up.I put some cooked rabbit on a plate on the table nice and neat. Go to the game and it's all over the place including the floor. This has always been an isssue but untill now I have just not put anything like that in a house. Now I think I need help. I have tried Script/DefaultDisableHavokOnLoad, Set HavokOnHit to false. And defaultBlockActivation just trying to keep stuff in place. That is about all I have been able to find. Do I need to delete all of the stuff in the "Dining area" and start over. I am lost and looking for direction. )o: Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance

  21. I have a house I have been kinda messing with for a while now. Had things working pretty good, I was just finished up adding a few things outside the house. I got the brilliant idea to add a chest with some enchanted things inside (Ring, Necklace, Ect.) to see if I could Enchant them higher, My enchanting is 100 so I can get like 62 health on jewelry and I think the highest ring is 70. So as I'm doing this, I start thinking of how to add more (Greed is a powerful weapon) "Boot's don't give you health!!" so I go to ebony boots, Edit, enchanting and changed it from None to Fortifyhealth06. I did the same thing with a helmet, armor... And saved it. Now here is where things started going wrong. I went to open the game to try it out and got CTD on 2nd load screen. I tried it again with same results. So I thought I would go back to the CK, and just undo the armor change thing and all would be good. well..... Now I cant open Ck with that mod active, I can open it with other mods active, Just not that one. Now I go to the Skyrim file/Backup to remove the last save from LSE (That's the mod name) removed the last save #9 and I still can't open it. So I checked the dates on the saves and #9 is 02/25/14 But #1 is 03/15/14, So I remove #1 (By remove I mean move it to a different folder and remove the .bak off the end to "Re-name" it) Still nothing. So I remove ALL saves from March, Nope. I unchecked the mod in NMM and the game plays fine now, But still can't open the mod in the CK. Now it's not so much loosing the mod that bothers me (although it does) I can always redo it if I have to. It's not knowing why. I am still learning how to do things and if I loose it, Lesson learned, But only if I know WHY it happened. Sorry if this seems drug out, But every time I post something I usually get "Can you be more specific" I'm sure there are some things I did not cover, But this should be a good start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

  23. Ok I have looked and looked, But I am not able to find anything that say's what body type Sukque (God I love that name) has. I have tried to put different clothes on her, But none seem to fit right. Inner wear ALMOST fits. Anyone know?
  24. @ luthienanarion, OOOK....... At the risk of sounding like a complete DUMB A$$, I have no idea what you are talking about. I have absolutely no computer training, Other then learning from doing it, Screwing it up and redoing it till I get it right. So unless I can get some kind of crash course on how to "Create a collision mesh and add it to the NIF of the overpass" I think the Arefu idea will have to stay in FO3 as far as me doing it. Not to say the answer was not appreciated, Because it was, It just sounds a little more complex then my abilities. @ drithius I thought about just taking chunks of the road eg. the overpass near Gunrunners has a broken piece at the bottom on the ground that you can walk on, And just filling the overpass in with that, But that is WAAAAY more work then I want to put in to this, it's a fairly long section of overpass I was using, And it would take for ever to get that done and probably look like crap anyway (if it even worked) So I don't see that happening. I also thought about taking planks and making like a wooden walk way, Might still try that. Any how thanks for the answers, And who knows I might see about learning how to do the "Collision mesh" thing. Always willing to learn. (:
