I fixed this issue with TES5, WryeBash, BOSS and Bash Patching. I had to work through it a few times until I got in, then went into Breezehome hanging out a while with my followers and Vilja. I would crash when I stepped outside and vampires showing up to fight. I just back tracked to the last save in Breezehome, hung out past the time the vampires were in Whiterun, came out with Vilja alone, went back in, collected my followers, came back out and left Whiterun ... works fine now.

Ive had to go back to NMM 0.45.7 in offline mode, because 46 isn't going online. Ive reinstalled 46 over and over, no go. If you know where your MODS are on your system, use 45.7, put the manual download into the file, then open 45.7 and the MOD will be in the category "unassigned." I cant even get 46 to load, but have 45.7 saved in a file, back ups are always the way. In 45.7, you just change the category of the MOD where it belongs, then install the MOD.

The answer of using 50 instead of 46 to run is "no" for me. I just have to use 45.7 offline, manually download a MOD from Nexus, put it into my MOD file, then go and activate it in 45.7. The MOD added goes into the unassigned category and I move it to the proper category, then install the MOD.

I don't use many MODs from Steam, very few.

Using WryeBash, I do the Bash Patch. Should give you an idea. I just added another MOD to replace some things in Armor. NMM 46 isn't loading, Ive reinstalled is several times and went back to 45.7 to use it offline. I have to manually download a MOD, then take the file and place it in my MODs file, it shows up as unassigned and just put it into the right category then install it. I have an understanding of Symbolic Logic and trained in it. Whenever a person begins with "name calling," they commit a fallacy of logic, avoiding the subject to attacking the person. Any abuse of language here on Nexus is just wrong. Act like an adult. Well, act like a responsible adult! LOL

Common sense? Situation ethics is the problem and subjectivism. People will justify behavior based upon whatever they want to do, without rules or ethics involved. I do know if I walk on ice I will most likely find myself looking up at the sky! ROFL A list of common sense items for your laughter: Do not touch hot items. Do not walk in front of a moving vehicle. Esquire? Now that is an intellectual harbinger of research. Esquire is like saying Playboy is great for the articles! lol Every day a new scandal emerges from the current WH Administration, from the NSA to the IRS and the rest of the alphabet. Ive not seen so many scandals in my life from this WH. Everyone is on CYA mode or evasion mode. The top lie of the year has been ... you can keep your insurance, period. I feel for the youth of the USA having this all on their backs with Obamacare and its total fiasco. All the FEDS had to do is one thing, relate Obamacare to how healthcare has been working for the many years in the military of this country, Oh, but that wasn't done and wont, it is a fiasco within itself and has been for years. Veterans and active military have sacrificed everything, but what have they gotten in return? Socialized medicine. Ive been aware of this since the Viet Nam era, so Im no kid at 56. I grew up in a military base town and have seen this for years. Polls are sometimes baited politically or slanted. I would seek out something better than Esquire as a reliable source of polling. There are organizations much more reliable than Esquire. You have to do your own research on the research and get to primary information. I know that is a hard thing to do, but it takes a lot of effort. Peace out to all of you.

Im still having issues with NMM 46 and would 50 get me back to online mode? Ive had to go back using 45.7 in offline mode, because NMM 46 just will not load at all. Yes, Ive manually reinstalled several times and no good. I wont uninstall NMM because I don't want to lose or potentially lose my MODs.

I have no clue why I cant seem to go into Whiterun and then it freezes or crashes. Ive run the game starting from New just to go into fresh autosaves. I have deleted the old ones first and then play the game going to various places in Skyrim. I can go into some of the Inns and will autosave. I try Whiterun or Riften and it freezes. Don't have a clue why it has started some of this freeze. I go into dungeons or other interiors and no problem or anywhere around Skyrim. If I try to go into Whiterun in Fast Travel, the screen stays in the beginning and then just idles and will not allow me into Whiterun.

Some of you may already know using this console command regularly. Using the ~ ingame type pcb. I do it on a regular basis and after a while playing or entering new areas, interior or exterior ... you will see a list at items where the game clears your RAM in selected areas. Just thought I would pass it along. Some of the new players may not know this RAM cleaning trick ingame.

Looked like time of day, to me. If you use certain MODs, the shadows etc are different and the way in and outside of Skyrim is detailed. There are countless MODs that manipulate exteriors, interiors and Skyrim outdoors or in dungeons. You have to determine a lot by what your system can handle with the immersion involved and what you want, but you have to decide upon one MOD "style" like ENB, etc for what exactly are interested with what your system can do and handle. I use an HP Pavilion dv6-7029wm Entertainment PC and it is a laptop with 8RAM. Sometimes I push it too far and have to know my limitations ...

Well, Ive updated reinstalled gone backwards to 45.7 ... what good is a source code if NMM 46 will not even load.

Ok, 46 stopped working today. I reinstalled it bc I have a manual exe of 46 saved. I have 45.7 and one other save of NMM. I installed 45.7 over 46, offline mode only. Reinstalled 46, still will not run. Suggestions?

I had a problem with BOSS listing my MODs only under "unrecognized" and only Skyrim.esm as "recognized." I reinstalled BOSS, no good still the same. I used BOSS User List Manager ... found the problem. Read the Master List Text ... my anti-virus software was blocking using BOSS ... you know what to do, close the anti-virus software. Load BOSS, there you have it ... reload your anti-virus software ...

I had this same issue. I had to use BOSS User List Manager. I would load up BOSS and my list would come up but ALL of my MODs were in the unrecognized list ... Master list was gone. I went into BOSS User List Manager and found the Master List text file. I read the Master List text file and discovered my anti-virus protection was blocking using BOSS, so you know what to do. Turned off the software, loaded BOSS and up came the list properly. Opened up software anti-virus and no problem.

Ive been using BOSS a long long time now, but the Masterlist automatic updating stopped. What I get is unrecognized instead of recognized list. The MODS are all active in the unrecognized list and just the Skyrim file is in the recognized list. Ive tried a re-install but no luck thus far. I went over to the url to check out the info.

Keep up the good work. Ive been using MODs for almost a year now, worked through a ton of issues myself. Skyrim will never be the same and really nice with the MODs. Thanks for the work.

We all know MODS conflict sometimes, but Ive been using this old YouTube vid trick some time now. You have to use the newest version of TES5 edit 30 to create a BASH file. Its worked for me and in WryeBash, you will see the red color code indicated for conflicts. I use NMM, BOSS and WryeBash (WryeSmash for Skyrim will display). Maybe try this one if something is conflicting. Creating a BASH via Tes5MergePatch works out good for me.

All you have to do is buy the game book for Skyrim, which is about the size of a large telephone book, with everything the game has to offer and how to do all of the quests. I bought two, one for me and one for my son-in-law. I was using my xBox version then and use it still, but the PC version and MODS are much more enjoyable manipulating the game the way I want to, instead of Microsoft controlling what I paid for, thus monopoly as far as I am concerned. No different with the new xBox One, which many are finding sucks with the hard drive problems.

Let's be honest here. The whole game is sort of based upon Romans vs Celts. Ive read many years the history of Rome and the Celts. The Romans, of course, were the Military Machine of its day and the Celts are the Fathers of Europe in history. I sided with the Stormcloaks. You chose what direction you want and do what you want, it is a game. MODS make the game do many different things, so there you have it. You want some interesting history, Vercingetorix was a Celtic leader who was the only one in history during Julius Ceasar's rule, to unite the tribes against Rome. He lost in the end, surrendered as would by tradition among Celts when they couldn't win, but Julius paraded him through Rome as a trophy, then had him strangled. Elves are great in the game, the Dominion are tyrants in my opinion and the Empire isn't any different. It's a game, do what you want, but the MODS splinter off in all sorts of directions.

The information is at least 6 years old, but Ive used this simple trick. Your system already has this program and it can be run as an administrator to work. You can see from the command, that it uses your existing rundll32.exe -Ive added a few parts to this answer: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080213093606AAJd5mq If you want to clean your memory, here is a nice little trick: Right click on an empty spot on your desktop and select: New - Shortcut. Type Line or copy/paste: %windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks in the command prompt box. Click Next. Give your shortcut a name like “Clear RAM Memory”. Click Finish and you’re done. Right click on the shortcut after creating it and click - run as administrator Now whenever your computer starts running slow click this shortcut to clear out your memory and get your computer running at a normal pace again.
