I love Civ. I grew up playing it, and I credit (or blame) it for my love of video games today. Before Civ came along, I steered clear and never really got what all the fuss was about.

Thandal, could you or someone else on staff please look into the issue with the download counter discussed here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/923039-whats-up-with-the-download-counter/? I'd really like to regain access to the mod author forums with my new username, but it's taking forever because of the issues with the download counter. It seems like this is a new issue.

Have you tried cleaning them with TES5Edit? If not, you should check out one of the YouTube videos to see how to do it. My guess is the CTD is being caused by dirty edits.

I agree, there is something very wrong with the unique download counter. I had to re-upload my mods because I changed my username, so my mods have only ever had one file, no updates. And the ratio of downloads to unique downloads is almost 4:1. Something has to be off. Example: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31680 I was thinking it would take no time to get enough downloads to get access to the mod author forums again, but it's going to take a lot longer than I thought.
