  1. They have to be 3 sides, but nevermind, 4 sided become 3 sided when export to nif. Leave it 4 sides, it is more easy to work with.
  2. This a problem with polyedit modifier on export. Use meshedit.
  3. Journée internationale des femmes! Nexus is every days.
  4. http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Skyrim_bodyparts_number Ok, How it work, is fun. First you have to cut you mesh into number. Open nifskope under BSDismemberSkinInstance there is partition, you have to change it to, exemple; your wings is 44. Now your wings use slot 44. But when you create an armor in CK, you also need to setup those numbers. Armor section and arma(or armor addon in CK) set it to slot 44. In total there is 3 places heres you have to setup it. In other case Bodyparts can be useful, like you have a full body underwear, but you don't want clipping. You underwear could use slot 32 for the body, but assign a different number to the legs. Ingame, the equiped armor will replace your underwear except the legs parts. If your remove the equiped armor, body part number 32 (body underwear) will show up. Sorry for bad english, you are true bodyparts are not well documented, like shader type too.
  5. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11327 This one use slot 55 you can wear an armor at the same time, but if the armor is too close from the skin, you got clipping.
  6. You just have to give to your outfit an empty slot. Earring, panties, wings, don't use new slot, it use slot not use by human( exemple wings use dragon head) Note; because armor don't use empty slot, it will not replace part like panties, is very imposible to see unwears cliping through your armor.
  7. Hello. I am actually working on an armor with UNP nody, when I notice in game I have seam problems, feets and hands are not well align. I check the vanilla skeleton and discover both male and female vanilla skeleton have some bones not align. UNP and CBBE mesh are using custom skeleton too?
  8. Since Skyrim shader interpretation is buggy, there is 2 ways to do this. Using a normal shader type 0 or 1, having a very bright color diffuse map and bright spec map. Using shader type 2, you will be able to put emit map. Emit map, will emit light! Ps; emit will not necessarily glowing, if you diffuse map is too dark.
  9. When you go to console, hit key tfc for free camera and tfc 1 for free camera and freeze the game. You can also use jey sucsm and a number for slowing down or speed up camera mouvement. If you don't like the FOV, change it with key fov less than 75 is zoom in more than 75 is zoom out(75 is default value). For smooth mouvement you can also use a joypad like x-box 360, good for recording movies. tfc = free camera tfc 1 =free camera + freeze sucsm = camera mouvement fov = field of view
  10. Your problem is vertice numbers are different between your _0.nif and _1.nif. At the moment the way to fix depend on what 3d software you use. For 3dsmax, edit mech just after your skin moddifier, seen to work well. But polyedit got a lot of people in trouble.
  11. Like if I delete helmet_0.nif, my character at weight 0, the game will load helmet_1.nif?
  12. Same for me, but try edit mesh, not poly edit (at least for the weight part). It solve vertices num problem for me.
  13. I use UNP, CBBE is more for boobs and ass.
  14. No. The way the game work, is when you equip an armor, the game replace the body whit the armor. You have to adapt it yourself, making it vanilla compatible armor_0.nif amd armor_1.nif for a working weight slider. And on top of it, if you want, adapt it yourself for mod like CBBE...
  15. Delete the bone in skin modifier section. Why you just don't skin warp from a humain body? With human body, you have nothing to fix or shoulders some times.
  16. It is not vanished, It just falling through the ground, cause there is no collision detection. So far this is what I get here. But I don't know how to create a collision detection, sorry, I just copy the branch from an other .nif.
  17. This file was from a guy that wanted his sword "fixed"...reduced polygons as well, his model had 1m+ But there are weapons around with a high polygon count that seem to work without problems, the flintlock pistol for example is close to 100k polygons  Flintlock pistol is also $75.00 by De Espona on turbosquid, handle head invented by De Espona, have not been made first for Skyrim.
  18. Well, He's just trying to warn you. Believe it or not, there is a sword mod you can download for skyrim, the .nif file is 256mb.
  19. I have the same problem whit ArmorMaterialSilver, It appear in misc section.
  20. The best way to know if somthing exist, is to use Ck and nifskoop Ironbow is shadertype 0, there is no use for _m.dss. To use reflection map it need to be set to shadertype 1 Some weapons and armor don't use 1stperson mesh.
  21. Lucky we are. They have choice, but this is my very own opinion. I don't play Skyrim. Why? I buy Skyrim for modding. Like many of us, I still a part of their costumer. Sorry if I sound like complaining about the company, I am a big fan since Morrowind, unfortunately, I know I miss something about this great game, but modding is like a drug. Do I waste my time playing and not modding or do I waste my time modding and not playing? You brain just explodes!
  22. I don't know where I can make my request. In my mod section, it says 5 pending images, but when I clic on it, I have access to my images. Where I can find those pending images?
  23. Totaly agree, but like... I don't know about ghosu, but for me it make me piss off sometimes. But for sure, to see people working hard on this, is very nice for us, mods author. The show must go on!
  24. Yes! You have to get permission and the best, permission for every things. I got in trouble this week cause a copyright violation, not from an everyday guy, but from a producer. Bethesda own nothing about your mods, they are free of problems and have zero relation about anything, everything about you, never! If you have an issue, they can help you, ban you, delete your mod and they don't endorse your mods. For myself I got nice help from Beth, from Nexus and at the end, I'm free to keep my mod here without copyright problems.
