What about Dawnstar?
-
I would rather want these armors, but not to remove any of the previous ones. I would like to have them simply for variation, for example, you could still use the old imperial armors and those of the other armors you shown could be called Breton-Imperial armor or something (Since Breton are based loosely of Old English and French armors)

LE I can't believe nobody has added this mod yet.
AlienSensei replied to AlienSensei's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
That mod looks great and all the new weapons look good too. I'm going to download but I simply want a simple file with 5 new ruins to discover, one of the ruins could be inhabited by bandit camps, one could be clean (no enemies but a few animals), one could have Falmer ghosts, one could have a Falmer camp with corrupted Falmer, one could have a settlement with a few villagers, and maybe one the Dominion camped in? Just thinkin'... -
I don't see how mod requests that are usually more describing and info providing usually get less replies. I would have downloaded such a mod. But then again, there is a simialarity in that in the mod Path of the Druid, though, it adds no school of transformation.

Hehe, this morning grandpa was visiting our house. He asked about video games and that he were intrested in learning to play online and stuff. He was though pretty unaware of how a game was like... 1. He expects it to be realistic. 2. He wants to play in a nice community online. (Which is in itself, impossible. Ever played a game without somebody yelling f*ggot? Not me either.) 3. He loves to study the Roman empire and expects games to have a lot of history and studying. He wants to learn as he plays. 4. He likes strategy games. My conclusion would be Age of Empires or Age of Mythology, but yeah, you don't learn to much and it's a bit complicated for a almost 70-year old man to learn this kind of stuff and if his computer can run it. (which it probably can, since these games are kinda old now) Suggestions? Leave them below.

Seriously, I think the main reason Bethesda added the Snow Elf ruins and architecture in Dawnguard was a modders resource much like Dragonborn. Yet, nobody has made a mod which adds a lot more Falmer Ruins to Skyrim. I was thinking about three - five ruins would be enough. They would also be in the western part of the land (closer to Markarth and Haafingar) but some spread even to Windhelm. If nobody takes up this task in following months I'm probably going to do it myslelf, however, first off I don't have too much time; secondly, I'm not as good at creation kit but I know how to create buildings etc but not quests.

Yep, agreed. The longest amount of time I've had a follower was probably three hours of playing. It was Kharjo, but there was nothing for him. However, you could download that companion mod called Vilja. I personally don't use it because its too pretty and it doesn't really fit me but it gots what you want.

I second this! I know this might not be the actual mod request but I was working on the custom race Ka Po' Tun and wanted some unique ears instead of the Khajiit ones (More like Lion or a Jaguar) but I couldn't create them simply because it would be too complicated. But if there was a mod like this I could merge them together and continue the work. AlienSensei seconds this.

Finishing Dawnguard before main quest - possible conflict?
AlienSensei replied to Vulon's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I can't remember any issues. I remember playing a Dawnguard Vampire hunter before doing the MQ. So I finished Dawnguard then I started the MQ, and no issues. Not even any issues in immersion-braking. When you meet the zombie dragon (can't remember his name) he says something along the lines of "Greetings Dov. *blablabla*" then when you ask why he called you Dov (Dov=Dragon) he says it was simply his nature, which would imply that you are Dragonborn in Skyrim no matter if you do the main quest or not. Pretty good there Bethesda. -
Yeah, maybe for the Vanilla houses, but c'mon. The people and the city is crazy and evil. (maybe not evil but you get my point)

I personally think the Dark Obi-Wan would fit pretty well in to Skyrim, without the techno stuff it would look great. Just great.

Both are set in "Nordic" themed country (Even though Skyrim is a region) The Khajiit and Argonians are the immigrants. (No racism intended) The Nords are the Swedes. The Stormcloaks are the Swedish Nationalist party (recently they got a lot of votes, just like the Stormcloaks got a lot of attention and followers) The Thalmor are China and India. (Even though Sweden was pretty atheistic to begin with, Thalmor fit as them as the news papers always say something along the lines of "The Chinese has taken all the jobs" and complain all the time about it, as well as India) The Empire are the rest of the Swedish parties. They don't like the Nationalist party and none of the parties (there's more than 2 parties in Sweden and since there are many they usually decide to go into two groups, the conserative and the liberal) have yet let them to join their group, and most mock them too. I don't want to start a huge discussion about which party is best. I just thought I should drop this here as it would fit best here as an discussion.

Haha. Easy explanation to my problem haha. Doesn't explain the music though.

I was playing Skyrim in the bannered mare with my Khajiit. I was trying to talk with this NPC named Lurius Liore. (which is from a mod called Wyrmstooth) When I was looking for him however, I spotted those small strings of light coming through the roof. I decided to take a look at them, which was no special. I looked out where the light came from. It was a beatiful night sky which comes from one of my mods. I then decided to go TCL and see what happened if you turned your TCL off when in the air... (its a console command that turns of gravity and gives you the ability to walk through walls.) Tcl wouldn't work. The console lagged a bit but I managed to close it. I tried to turn tcl on again... This time, I saw Lurius Liore. He was sitting on a chair eating some bread in the bannered mare. I couldn't do anything. He just sat there and ate his damn bread. When I pressed W to walk forward a lot of time Lurius standed up. Then it got me, I was Lurius. Seriously, I could control this NPC's every move. I walked around with him but I couldn't talk to people. It was just like being an NPC. Nobody looked at me either. When I tried to do spells I heard them in a distance. I saw glitched lights through the walls up stairs. Which was obviously where my character was. I ran up stairs and saw my own Khajiit in a corner following my every move. When I pressed W, he ran forward. When I left-clicked, he healed himself (I had restoration equipped). This is where it got weird and creepy. I went into my inventory (and found all my stuff which I was wearing at the Khajiit) but when I went out the music was like in a Draugr dungeon. I've tried to find something simialar on google but there's nothing. Not even with when I was controling an NPC. Oh, and for your information: I enabled and disabled Lurius Liore twice. Just in case that makes a difference.

I've got the cinematic preset for ENB evolved which has a distant blur over everything. I don't like it, how do I remove it? Other easy answered question: How do I remove black bars on ENB?

LE Improved NPC body language/acting/emotion
AlienSensei replied to TheHermit84's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Yep. Agreed. We need this. -
I mostly want it compatible with climates of tamriel however that's not a must. It shouldn't have to dark shadows as I hate that and have about the FPS loss of Zoners ENB, as my computer is not weak but not a heavy gaming computer either. Realistic but fitting into the Elder Scrolls.

I've played with alternative start which causes the player to be non-dragonborn. However, I downloaded the mod Wyrmstooth recently but I can't seem to figure out how to set the quest stage to after I was summoned by the greybeards. I've tried setstage MQ105 but it doesn't work and getstage. How do I do it?

That's a lot. I hope more actually see this!

LE Pivate request for anyone with spare time

I want cities to look BIGGER and a lot more populated. That's a must. I mean c'mon, there's like 350 people in all of Skyrim counting the citizens of each city... I'd at least want 50 NPC's in each city. And all don't have to be inside the wall (for both looks and for performance) some can come in outskirts, specially Whiterun, Windhelm, and Solitude. They need to be seriously expanded.

The thighs on the Khajiit as said above looked a bit long. I suggest you take a look at pictures of cats, however, it looks better than expected. I hope work continues.

LE Armor Request: History Vikings Style Leather w/ Chainmail
AlienSensei replied to TuskandInk's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
One of my dads best friends actually wrote (dont know how to translate) that show and my cousin acted in the background. Hehe, but yeah, I've seen it. I'd want the armors too as they look great, and imo very realistic too. -
Derok, may I ask, what armors are you using for Argonians? I'm, myself, playing as one but can't seem to find any fitting yet. Thx I think scaled armor is the best. But there's not much armors that fit them in Skyrim. I think they mostly use light and sometimes heavy armors. I personally like realistic armors with balanced protection/weight. I mean, do you have any modded armors you are using, as I'm looking for ones to use both in game and in mods.
