1. Here's the tutorial: https://youtu.be/n51g6VMPkJQ Normally, I'd just make it an outfit. But power armor is handled through a modified furniture piece. Ah, sorry. Essentially, it keeps reverting to a normal BoS power armor part, even when I made the actual armor reference from scratch.
2. Hmm. Somewhat related: i'm attempting to modify and add NewerMind43's Midwestern BoS Power Armor to a level list, then the level list to a Power Armor Furniture, and then to an NPC/Companion. However, no matter what I try, I go in game and it stays at the regular BoS armor. I first attempted to copy an existing power armor, then modify it with the new model, but that didn't work. Then I stripped out all keywords involving modifying the part, and that didn't work. Finally, I made new armor data entirely just with the keywords, model, and damage resistance info, and it still didn't work. P.S. I received his permission before using his mod.
3. Uh, yeah. Like I said before, ideas are a dime a dozen. If you want to get a team together, you need to show progress, commitment, etc, or at the very least explain what your idea is so people know what they're joining.
4. We don't even know what mod you want to make, and insulted us when we asked and had a good laugh.
5. You're gonna get out of this what you put in. And if all you put in is insults, all you're gonna get back out is insults. And you're saying this after guys like the_rotten_core came to bat for you.

7. I know, but I can dream. Le Shrug Fair enough. Keep on truckin. I tried myself to go into the Creation Kit, but well, after 15 minutes I ended up with my eye's crossed. I know, but I can dream. Le Shrug Fair enough. Keep on truckin. I tried myself to go into the Creation Kit, but well, after 15 minutes I ended up with my eye's crossed. Ir's more that this would require not only extensive changes to the game, but also new models as well.
8. oh god no not more cool looking quest mods I can only take so many superb mods before I go into a mod induced coma.
9. That seems like a pretty massive change to the game to be honest. Several major storylines would be messed up, a lot of dialogue would have to be redone, both dialogue specific for this and secondary dialogue referencing the minutemen, the actual DLC part of this would become essentially meaningless, and would have to be completely changed to make sense, and a ton of quests would have to be created.
10. No. That would be against the site rules. Someone will eventually grab it, and upload it offsite, since alotta people HATE Beth.net mods, and prefer other sites. Oh, I don't doubt it. Hell, i'm gonna move the fiile from the default path to NMM once I download it. But you can't upload someone elses mod without their permission. Not to mention that, with how much of an uproar this site has been in regarding stolen mods, doing so would be pretty damn hypocritical.

12. Now that's what I'm talking about. That's no mean feat, especially the 3D modelling. My mod took close to 5 years to make, also all by myself. - with a tiny bit of scripting help. I never released it unfinished, or as a mod for others to help improve or complete for me, because I knew when it was done it would be something special, despite people losing interest in the game it was for. I think there's nothing wrong with sharing ideas, or getting others to chip-in with things beyond your ability, but expecting modders to flock to your cause with zero information provided make no sense whatsoever. There has to be some direct individual involvement, and creation-component, beyond just having a cool idea. I think the OP doesn't get it. And I absolutely agree with this from Rotten Core: "But at the time it was the most awesome thing ever. I had MADE something and it was in a video game, That's how it started, the obsession, the learning, the hours shut away pouring my heart and soul into this " < That's truth right there. That's the formula. Modding is supposed to be about the individual creating something by his/herself= fun. Learning to do new things is immensely satisfying. It comes down to how willing is the modder to do the hard work themselves. You have no idea how much I envy that level of dedication. Still trying to actually buckle down with a project. Hoping the companion mod i'm working on becomes my first, but I guess i'll see :) The thing about is ideas is that none of them are unique. If you've had one, odds are thousands of others have as well. What matters is that you are able to throw yourself at the idea to make it become reality.
13. OK, you need to do more of these. Seriously, there are no good tutorials for fallout things in Blender. I STILL haven't completely figured out how to prep my finished clothing models for import into the game (Although I believe there is a tutorial for general importing clothing through Outfit Studio?). Besides that, great tutorial man. Really helpful.
14. http://i.imgur.com/bHk6cKR.png?1 Here's what I have so far. I saw that a Midwestern BoS armor already existed for Fo4, so i've kind of started working on a completely custom design taking inspiration from the style of the Midwestern BoS armor.
15. I think you may be too nice for this site, Core xD Basically, s#*!-posting aside, you're gonna need to re-evaluate your stance here MrExec. People respect when others can demonstrate time, effort, and skill put into making a project a reality. Odds are, you're gonna have to do most, if not all, of the work yourself as a new modder. And it absolutely doesn't help insulting other members for pointing out mistakes. Otherwise, Core is pretty much spot on.
16. Well, I don't know about others here, but I have 1 File of the month win already. So my hat = hung. And I didn't need to bastardize the English language to get it either. I feel bad for you, mate, that you have to act in such a way, instead of receiving feedback and being able to learn from it. I don't have anything as prestigious as a 'File of the Month', but I did 3d model, texture and integrate a weapon and location into Fallout: NV. And I did it without anyone else, so i'm fairly satisfied.
17. Maybe that was the point? Console gamers care way more about achievements, so disabling them, knowing the PC users could just make a mod to enable them, doesn't seem far fetched.
18. He also already posted this request, in this forum, in its own thread.
