  1. If you downloaded the RealVision recommended Mods, which includes Skyrim HD _ FULL you will CTD as well. Install the Lite version instead. Looks the same, 4x lighter on VRAM/RAM.
  2. You want Role Play and not the cookie cutter move forward and kick stuff dead Skyrim it normally is? Go download this mod: Requiem http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19281/ Read readme for compatibility, it's a really huge mod which changes everything, the world, NPCs, items, stats, skills, magic, perk system, alchemy, crafting, smithing, etc (it has a lot of integrated stuff - so things like Enhanced Enemy AI are not needed anymore (and actually incompatible)). It has just 1 difficulty; Insane. The whole world is deleveled. This means you can meet a level 100 opponent right from the start (which of course you have to avoid until much later). You get bigger rewards for beating down a high level char, you will get stronger eventually so you run over bandits instead of meeting a Fur armor bandit with an Iron Bow that has 5000 Health and 1-shots you while wearing heavy armor. You will need different perks into different trees to beat enemies, so no more 'everything in archery and I'll do just fine' You wont do just fine, youll be beaten to bits. You wanna face a heavy armor carrying daggers? He'll walk right over you... you gotta be joking that it would be possible to beat that guy with daggers. You wanna learn smithing, you need to have books on how it's done... you wanna learn the wildlife, read about it... You think you can eat a death bell flower and get away with it? Guess again... you get a lot of immersion just by having to make choices or needing certain things or knowledge on things to do something you wanna do. Now you need to think how to defeat your enemies... what armor do they have, which weapons do they carry, what type of creature is it... how can I get this weapon type so I can beat them... what weapon type do I need anyway... what happens when I kill a lot of people as assassin, etc etc... you have to make choices and they will influence how you character will progress, and this starts already from which race you pick to play, instead of nobody giving a damn what you do in game. Best thing, you can actually get drunk in game. Sit down, get hammered, beat the crap out of someone and sleep in jail. Just like real live  Goodluck.
  3. problems/compatibility with your animations mods with or without FNIS in the mix. Consider uninstalling them and finding the proper installation method using the info on those mod pages. If you use custom race it may come with it's own skeleton that you have to manually replace with the default one for it to work properly Default skeleton installation folders here; meshes\actors\character\character assets -- male meshes\actors\character\character assets female -- you guessed it this folder should also contain the folder for your custom race if any: meshes\actors\character\
  4. Sounds like uGrids problem, overloading your system with your current texture packs. on RealVision website you can find instructions to revert back.
  5. ummm if you reach 3.1GB RAM usage using 1K textures something else is wrong. I use 2K and 4K textures (mostly 2K) and am not reaching 3.1GB limit.... and if you check my screenshots you'll see my game is really heavily modded... What kind of tweaks have you done to your ini's (skyrim.ini / skyrimprefs.ini) Wrong.... sorta... Textures are loaded into VRAM and due to Skyrim being DirectX9 it will mirror them into your RAM... but not everything. It only mirrors the textures but it will not mirror things your card does internally, like AA, which also takes up VRAM.
  6. without modlist it will be impossible for anyone to help... there's like 30.000 mods listed and so far no human has been able to receive thoughts from someone else... ;)
  7. Nope that folder shouldn't cause an issue (I don't have it either, might be something missed in guide)... Deletion what was left - meaning; removing the whole Skyrim folder? That should be working just fine. I see your Vid card uses shared system memory as well... perhaps you should try and disable this feature from your BIOS. You run on 32bit... so having OS + Skyrim (+Mods) + Vid card eat away from your 4GB RAM can be just a bit too much. Not sure if you have a 1GB or 2GB card... DxDiag messes up a bit sometimes (I have a 4GB card and DxDiag says 3gb + 1gb shared for instance).
  8. How did you reinstall? Because simply Uninstall and reinstall will keep a lot of trash from previous installations in the folders. If you wanna do a clean installation you have to manually remove everything after uninstall... Here's a guide how to return to a vanilla installation without downloading everything again off steam: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again also verify if the increaseuserva is set to 3072 now... just open cmd.exe again and type bcdedit ... search for the increaseuserva value
  9. Check these files here; %userprofile%\AppData\local\Skyrim\ -- AppData is a hidden folder. plugins.txt (all your active plugins) loadorder.txt (all your plugins, active or not) This should show under Data Files in skyrim launcher as well... If you have UAC on, check if you have modified the properties for Skyrim_Launcher.exe and TESV.exe to always launch with Admin rights (right click -> properties -> compatibility tab)
  10. Try this; Open cmd.exe as Administrator and put this command; bcdedit /set increaseuserva 3072 reboot your system see if CTDs are gone Oh and undo this one: iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes That's a setting under Papyrus that people not knowing on internet say increased Skyrim's RAM usage, which is not true. It just creates problems. Leave at default or max ~2MB, but I'd suggest default since you have no mods anyway. [edit:] Btw your papyrus log says you didn't change that setting; You might not be aware that there are multiple ini's around in Skyrim, and the game uses the ones here; My Documents\My Games\Skyrim -- so when some mod requires a change in SkyrimPrefs.ini you need the file here, and not the SkyrimPrefs.ini located in the Skyrim installation folder (no clue why it is done like this) The command above (increaseuserva) will let Windows x86 (32-bit) use 3GB instead of 2GB for applications which can use the space (and Skyrim can use it).
  11. Isnt the enchantment normal? I have the enchantment without cleaning my mods. Extra damage to undead blabla etc. It's supposed to be like that.
  12. Well if you gonna use mods, your gonna need a mod manager, or youll probably find yourself reinstalling Skyrim soon ;) Download NMM for starters
  13. Read the FNIS page.... the author didn't write half a book of instructions on it because he thinks it's funny to keep people busy reading 20 minutes of their lives. There's pretty clear instructions on them how to install, how to use FNIS, and how to uninstall. Reinstalling the game is not gonna fix it unless you completely remove the Skyrim installation folder.
  14. if you have a lot of weapon/armor mods that mess around with leveled lists you maybe need to use a bashed patch so that all the stuff from your mods is correctly distributed through the game. The keyword here is "leveled lists" which are responsible for giving stuff to NPCs... Search YouTube for tutorials regarding Wrye Bash and Bashed Patch.
  15. then there's a problem with the combination CoT + your custom sunglare + your ENB
  16. ENB also comes with sunglare dont forget that... maybe your custom one isnt compatible with that ENB... have you tried to remove the sun.dds and sunglare.dds from Textures\Sky\Climatesoftamriel ?
  17. Go to Falskaar mod page -> Forums? You're not gonna find help here, too large of a mod to know... Author might know, or perhaps alreayd a solution there between the 600+ posts in the troubleshooting section. Using console in Falskaar will break the mod tho, so if you used it already a few times - goodluck. Big warning on the mod page about that.
  18. mmm not sure, see if you can find more info here http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1384676-rel-skyproc-skyrim-processing-library-thread-2/ (official Skyproc thread)
  19. Try another ENB with another Binary, perhaps. If one doesnt work on your system properly simply use another. Probably cant fix it another way, looks like graphic corruption. Make sure you followed instructions exactly for ENB (SkyrimPrefs.ini settings which are required) Maximum you can see if playing with Sunrays / SunIntensity helps some, but you'll affect all weathers. You can also try and replace CoT's sun by downloading This mod manually and putting it in this folder (which doesn't exist, or shouldnt): Data\Textures\Sky\climatesoftamriel\ (so do not use NMM automatic install, it will not work!)
  20. Not from ENB... ENBs don't interact with the game on that level (it interacts with DirectX)... try and load an older save? Maybe you have been poisoned just before you saved? Dunno.
  21. Nop, CoT installation should present you all the options and it should install/activate what you picked... try and uninstall it, and install it again.
  22. I very much doubt this is possible... In vanilla game shields are pretty useless (game is too easy no matter the difficulty) try some sick combat/gameplay mods and youll find out why you need a shield pretty soon. Eg. Requiem
  23. when you disable the ENB (press shift+F12 in game) problem gone? CoT doesn't do this... you have another conflict somewhere.
  24. Nop that wont work for Windows XP Home 32b... only from XP pro and up (on XP/WS2003 it needs to be done through the boot.ini, but doesn't matter)... That means your Skyrim is limited to 2GB of virtual address space and will fail above that (probably will fail a bit below it because other applications might eat some away too). Perhaps you can monitor your resource usage using Skyrim Performance Monitor: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6491/ ... just to rule out your system Also make sure you have killed anything in Windows running in the background that you do not need, maybe some other application is causing Skyrim to fail. The reply from Bethesda is really just bull... Also what you wrote under point 4; this is because you have a mod which has one of those DLC's as master... you disable the DLC, the game will crash on startup. You need to disable also the mod which requires the DLC to be loaded. Edit: and I see just now... you have your own mod loaded before the DLC's? That's not going to work... .esm files come before the .esp files. Your DLC's have to be loaded in the release date order with Update.esm between Skyrim and Dawnguard.
