  1. Has anyone here ever tried building a sunken fireplace/pit in their sims 4 living room? Pretty sure I could do it by raising one up thru a basement, but would rather not have to do it that way. I'd like to build a conversation pit with a toasty fire in the middle.
  2. Yes I did, and I always have loose files enabled. I don't want everything in ba files, even if everything was available that way.
  3. The mod author of this https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/73538 mod cannot be contacted in any way. Comments aren't enabled, and trying to send a message just tells me the mod author cannot use messaging. This looks like a really good and needed mod, but it's not working in game. It's listed in the build menu, but icons are invisible, as is the item to be place, all one gets is a placement sound. This was just released yesterday. Has anyone else tried this and got it to work? It's not a load order issue for me, and I have no conflicting mods. Without any way to contact or let the mod author know, it's pretty useless right now.
  4. Decorations only, yes. No interactions, but that's what I wanted for my vendors. Interactions are what I want for my character's house, and I have those. They will also be great for decorating the Castle Armory when/if I get to that.
  5. Found it, and this is why I like it so much. So many options that don't show on the mod page, these barely touch on it. It's Workshop Decorations Pack.
  6. Thanks, but it's not that one, which I have. It's good, but there's no floor decorations, like rifles stacked together making a pyramid shape, and some other things. Xnjguy Filled Mods is all for the walls. I've used the one I'm looking for for a long time, but don't remember the name as I had taken a bit more than a year from FO4. It should have still been in my download list on the Nexus, but it's just somehow gone, along with some other mods that I was able to replace from knowing the name. I'm cursing my faulty memory! Thanks very much though!! :)
  7. Looking for the mod that has filled shelves of weapons, armors, foodstuff, misc suff, as well as pyramid style stacks of rifles and such on the floor. All I know is that they're part of a larger mod. Great decorating mod, and thought it was The Kuro Tab, but it's not. I had this before having PC issues, and now have the game going again after having to start from scratch with my mods. I've searched my saved mod files as well as my Nexus downloaded mod history, which seems to be missing quite a lot. Anyone that can help me would have my eternal gratitude! Stuff is used to decorate settlement vendors and kitchens.
  8. You just have to go to game options> Other, then reenable the mods. They aren't removed, only disabled. Only takes a minute.
  9. Sorry, forgot to come back to this. Not a 'bro', by the way, lol. I switched to SHB and it worked fine, I had to learn the ins and outs without confusing tutorials. I still think most of the tutorials screw up by using cbbe as the example, not everyone uses it. I don't, as I play male characters, and getting 'blanks' , or cbbe this and cbbe that, is frustrating and disconcerting. Thankfully, a very good friend gave me a very welcome helping hand, all is good. I don't normally go on raging, dramatic rants, and for that I'm sorry.
  10. ...write a tutorial on Bodyslide/Outfit Studio WITHOUT mentioning CBBE? Everything I've found uses that as an example, and does not take into account that an extreme noob doesn't use that, and is starting with a blank slate, literally. Like what to do if you body of choice doesn't show up, then doesn't show up in the Outfit Studio when one does get the body modified. Step by freaking step. It may seem easy to those who are familiar, but the stumbling blocks can be many, especially if there are not many premade outfits with bodyslide compatible files. Sorry to sound like a b*tch, but this is darned frustrating! I have a nice body for my character, finally, only to have him squished back into vanilla form because I also can't figure out how to make a file compatible. As it turns out, the body I chose doesn't have a lot of bodyslide compatible mods available. Every time I go through a tutorial, and there are many, I want to scream when it shows CBBE and not what to for another when it's not on the body list. This may be moot, as I'm thinking of starting over with a body mod like SHB that already has a lot of compatible clothing/armor mod files. But a more complete tutorial would be a huge help to a lot of us out here! FYI, the body I chose is BT3, lord help me...probably by the end of the day I'll have tossed it out the window... Edit: NOT a noob to modding, just a noob to Bodyslide/Outfit Studio. Edit2: Rant over, but still hoping.
  11. Late here, but check Steve40's user page for instructions on how to get a few of his mods, including CWSS. It has a clean urinal. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/3463396
  12. Same issue here, everything blank. I've read all the mod description, stickies, done it all, tried fixes/answers, (except moving my Steam folder, that would be a disaster for me, not going into details). Anyway, the damn thing should work and doesn't.
  13. There's always Snap&Build for clean buildings, and there are mods for baskets, (just browse 'baskets') as well as one that allows cley pots to be made that are actual containers. Snap&Build https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28834 Craftable Pot https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/39114 (works even better if you have Place Anywhere to change the sizes)
  14. Enhanced Vanilla Bodies, sorry. Victoriam requires EVB or Body Talk to work.
  15. I know I am not the only one who despises mod acronym file names. Mod authors, please take note that you're awesome, but please make your file names that will identify what mod they are actually from. This makes me crazy frustrated. That said, I have been trying to figure out what mod thes file names are from, if anyone knows: upc.esp WGD_MTSM.esp OWCad.esp The above stems from rebuilding my load order due to far too much crashing. That also brings me to another issue. What I've built so far is not crashing, but all bodies are now invisible, though I've used the same bodies and textures, for both male and females. If anyone has any ideas, I would welcome them. I use EVB with Victoriam for males and CBBE for the females. All that is seen are heads and any armor they may have. I've beeb using these mods for literally 2 years. Thanks for any and all ideas/responses!!
  16. Yhanks HeyYou, but that didn't work. So, I bit that bullet and after spending most of the day reinstalling and going through my mods, I have things going again. I don't mind saying I'll be a bit paranoid for a while!! I've never had an issue so bad that it warranted a reinstall! I'm keeping my fingers crossed! And boy howdy, I'm so glad I've never been into merged mods... I would have posted a couple hours ago, but I was immersed in the game, trying to catch up a bit.
  17. Some background. I've been modding FO4 for the last couple of years with very few issues, and those I did have were easily fixed, either by adjusting load order or deleting a troublesome mod. I am baffled this time, and have been trying to figure out what's going on for the last 2 days. I have everything up to date, the main game, the UFOP, F4SE and it's dependent mods that I have. I've been playing this same load order with no problems for at least 4 months or so. I did add a small texture mod for the hanging vines, but that's been ok since I change it out a week ago. EVERYthing has been working fine on previous plays. I decide to start a new one, and it's biting me in the butt big time. What's happening now though, is when I launch the game, (this starting a new SS) is that it goes thru the loading screen, but the second it hits the game, it crashes. At first I was able to go back a couple saves and it would load and start, then it got to where I was having to go back more and more, like 1 step forward and 4,5,6 steps back, I wiped all of those saves yesterday, started again today. Everything seemed fine, and I shut down when my SS was 6th lvl. Now it's doing the same thing and I'm ready to yank my hair out. I only have 198 active plugins, with no merged patches or esl files. I use the github NMM, up to date. Some may say that's the problem, It is not, thank you. I verified and reacquired files, checked my ini files, cleared the game cache (via Steam), cleaned everything using xedit, (because verifying, 'nuff said) checked and reinstalled mods. At this point I am lost. Do I need to just bite the bullet and do a re-install of the game?
  18. A millwheel setup for grinding flour and/or dry corn for cornmeal. It's very old tech, same as basket weaving and pottery. (that are in game or in mods already) Even if someone only made it for decoration, that would be great, but even better if it actually worked and produced, Then one could collaborate with one of the mod authors that makes food/cooking mods so you could actuall add foods/recipes for your character and settlers. (personally I would suggest the author of CHEF) I wouldn't have a clue how to do this, but I know someone could make it awesome!! Please, someone run with this! For that matter, some could come up with crops that could only grow in certain climates, such as rice in the southern, swampy areas like Somerville or Murkwater.
  19. This mod keeps any Commonwealth quests IN the Commonwealth. I use it and it works great for any Commonwealth faction. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25934 Keep Radiants in the Commonwealth
  20. MilanKokyCZ, your MCM is dependent on F4SE, which in turn has to match your current game version. If any of the versions are incorrect, no, it won't work.
  21. I had everything i needed, correct manifest & depot #s. I wasn't worried, I had my game set for no auto updates. When I went to play a couple days after that update, after my game not launching, I did the usual checking of my F4SE. Nope, up to date. Everything was fine until I checked my game version. It had auto updated despite my settings. Steam support claimed that, according to agreements with Bethesda, forced updates were being made anyway, for those who had not updated after a certain length of time. (had been 1&1/2 yrs for me) I don' know if the person who responded to my email was blowing smoke about that or not, but they said there would be no re-activating/re-adding the manifest I had been using. End of story. Needless to say, I was outraged that a game I bought and paid for doesn't seem to belong solely to me. Again, I wasn't thrilled to have my very stable game/load order made into a mess, but a couple of days work on things and I was again ok. I don't appreciate using workarounds to make things stable again, but it is what it is. Anyway, if you start inexplicably having problems with ctd's when trying to launch your game, see if there has been an unwanted update made. Settings to prevent updates are no longer a guarantee.
  22. Thank you!!!! I will definitely check that out, it sounds like what I am looking for!
