  1. Does anyone know if there is a mod that allows building outside on the roof of Home Plate, where you go up thru the trap door? That space could really be used. Any help would be appreciated.

  3. I downloaded a mod approximately a year and a half ago, for an item with a pre-war texture. Now, I still use this mod and love it, but at the time I asked the mod author if he had any plans to upload a post-war texture. He was kind enough to answer and said he hadn't found the right model yet to work, only one he didn't really like, but was looking. Recently, this modauthor turned the mod over to someone else, and as I was tracking it, I received a notification on a comment. I went to look, and asked the new 'caretaker', if there was any news on a post-war texture yet. Basically, I got jumped on, the reply was very belligerent, the gist of it being that 'didn't you already ask this question? If you don't like it, tough.' (his/her words) I was quite surprised, as I hadn't been rude, and felt it a reasonable question, after so much time and a new person in charge of the mod. I responded that that was why I had asked 'yet', thank the person for the reply, if not the spirit in which it was given. (my words) I suppose he/she took offense at that, and the next notification a week or two later of an update, I click it, only to find myself blocked from accessing the mod page altogether. Now, I am never, ever, rude to a mod author, but I felt that was over the top for a mod author/caretaker. Now, my son looked up the mod page, and the new caretaker had uploaded a post-war version. All I could think was, WTH? I have the update, thanks to my son, but when I have some time, I am determined to learn what I can about altering textures. I have never been banned from anything on Nexus or anywhere else, so it hurt and insulted me. I got over it though, what else can one do? People are strange, no doubt about it, and sometimes it's just not worth worrying about.
  4. MarkusTay, thanks. That's probably what's happening with my turrets, even though I do have a mod that gives me a larger build area, I'm not utilizing it much this playthrough. I've installed the Unbreakable plants mod, but it's not helping much that I can tell. I think it must be a conflict, but the only mod I have for plants is a texture mod, Lush Crops, so that's weird. Yes, the corn is the worst, I'll be planting less and spacing them further apart for the time being, at least it will be easier to repair that way. I do tend to put too much and too closely spaced. Mutfruit is at least easier to see and fix. *sigh* I'll keep searching and researching, lol.
  5. I'd never give settlers explosives, nor use that type turret, lol. I don't even leave miniguns or missile launchers in the work benches, except at Sanctuary, where (so far) I haven't had the problem. Settlers sometimes snatch those to use instead of what I give them, and may be damaging their own crops. Heck, I don't know. Thanks, I'll check out the Unbreakable Plants thing, though I will have to check for conflicts. I have a couple of mods for plants, not major but... I'll look at the Sim Settlements plants too. Something has to work, having entire crops wiped out is just ridiculous.
  6. Thanks jkruse, but that's just it, I don't have enemies spawning inside the settlement. I'm just getting ruined crops after the battle is over. Sometimes it seems just normal damage, a few plants here and there, other times it's every darn thing planted. For example, super mutants attacked Oberland Station, my smallest and walled in settlement. 6 settlers, turrets on roof of building and other turrets outside the walls. Met the mutants way down the railroad tracks, they didn't get near coming inside. When all was over, every plant was damaged and had to be repaired. WTF? For my larger settlements, it's a time consuming PITA to repair every single plant. It wasn't like this on previous playthroughs.

  8. Thanks SKK50, but to me, and I appreciate all the works of modders and the modders themselves...that doesn't fit me, my rp, or what I need. No offense.
  9. Ok, I know it can vary, but this playthrough, it seems as if 75% or more of the time, when my settlements are attacked, my crops are flat out decimated. Much of it is even likely from my own turrets, though I am very careful about placement for both crops and turrets just for this reason. Does anyone else have this gripe? If anyone knows of a mod that can prevent some of this damage, I would surely appreciate it. Or if some wants to make a mod for this. :) I do understand it's a settlement hazard, but I've never had it to this exent before. The way I place things for my rp, I now have to spend an inordinate amount of time repairing the crops, and it's making me nuts. Ideas, anyone?

  12. I think this is a fine idea. I would only add having the colors of the logo be a choice, such as the green for Fallout 4, blue for Skyrim, etc. Thanks for all you do!

  14. I have been away from SLE for a time, and recently started playing again. I had a follower mod all but finished, only needing to finish appearance. My game/mods had no changes other than updates, but wanted to finish the follower for my rp. However, the CK is throwing the 'multiple masters, operation aborted' error message. My editor ini file is correct, no changes there, but it won't let me open the file, or any previously made follower files. The best it will let me do is a new file, with just the Skyrim esm as master. I'm at my wits end, and totally baffled. Delete and reinstall of the CK has been no help, nor verifying the files for it. Yes, I do have the bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 in the SkyrimEditor ini, General section. Archive has the right settings as well. Anyone have any ideas?

I have everything set correctly in my SkyrimEditor.ini, but after I start the CK, click my master file, set the active file, and say 'yes to all' for 'normal' errors, it just hangs up, like it's forever loading, becoming unresponsive. I've verified the CK files, even deleted and reloaded, with no difference. I know it can be glitchy, but I've never had it do this before. It worked fine, but has been a few months since I used it, so this has come out of the blue. I have no idea what's going on, anyone have any ideas? I've been trying for a couple days now with no results.
  16. I use both Spring Cleaning and Scrap Everything. I let LOOT sort my load order, and I've never had any problems using both of those mods. Never had any issues with anything dropping through the floors, in the Castle or otherwise, other than maybe a coffee pot or something sitting on a table, if I scrap the table first. I'm not certain what is causing SirGalahad's issue.
  17. Why get used to it when you can simply avoid the hassle via your steam settings? The fact that the only changes are to accommodate CC content is exactly why there's no point in going through this PITA over and over. I know I can change settings, but I have the time, usually, so I try not to worry about it. Letting it stress me out doesn't help me. I can always play Skyrim while I wait. :)
  18. Bethesda isn't updating the game per se, they are updating the stupid Creation Club content. It will break f4se every single time, so might as well get used to it, unfortunately.
  19. There was NO information, other than after Starfield. It was a total tease. Starfield is their completely new franchise. About a release date for that, I don't know.
