  1. Take your operating system Hard drive (From your old system) and Dual Boot Hardware is Hardware and it is not that complex to find the other drivers.
  2. Is there a budget..... ? Probably somewhere between 700 and a grand. Depending upon your market that you are in A Intel 6600K LGA1151 CPU a LGA 1151 Z 170 Motherboard Eight gigs of DDR 4 memory A 620 watt power supply A SSD A storage drive At this point you're just under 650 dollars just with the above components Pick out a case Corsair, Cooler Master, and Silverstone, all make some excellent cases but they are personal choices because you are who has to live with the next five years. An operating system I would never willfully direct anybody to Windows 10 And an aftermarket heatsink and fan has to be LGA 1151 compatible And you should be good to go unless you want to add a optical drive and they are 20 - 100 depending upon what you choose.
  3. Someone has done it already with basic crossbow collection The mod is located: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23876/? Hopefully you will enjoy it
  4. Short of running Windows 7 in a dual boot you are screwed.... Review this thread https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4714530-windows-10-4gb-vram-limit/ What resolution are you running? Although I run most games in 4k, I have settled for running Skyrim in 1920x1080. I love Skyrim but hate it at the same time :/ Over a thousand hours of modding Skyrim and haven't gotten a single stable game going. Well one time I did but for some reason the DLC's were broken so ya, fail. I will check out the thread you pointed me to. Thanks. Skyrim has been around for four years and eight months And has been rock solid stable for the last two years if you pay attention to step Wikipedia and follow what they have developed closely. They are an excellent reference point and saves me a ton of typing. They are an excellent group of people that believe you should be responsible for the testing of your own load order and push many best practices.

  6. Your system is heavily overclocked you are running un buffered memory. When you set up your overclock did you lock in the PCI Express at 100 hertz and did you set the memory divider to give you a stable overclock? By your symptomology you are experiencing a memory hole situation and this can be exacerbated by poor drivers or a corrupted Windows installation. What brand is the SSD?
  7. How old was existing game install? What was the prior video card? How old is your windows install? What are the other components of your build?
  8. You are wearing UNP clothing on a CBBE body or skeleton Or vice versa
  9. The entire laptop use your issue is a five year old technology laptop that is barely within the acceptable system specification AMD CPU technology is locked in five years back in time The laptop that you have designed to get emails and the Microsoft office Well, it's not like I had any other choice, my job requires that I purchase it from them and this was the one that had the best performance. In this particular system, what is the bottleneck? With a laptop you get a platform level of performance nothing you do to is going to significantly increase its performance. Short of putting an SSD on board and that will do nothing to increase frames per second. It is what it is Just to clarify - 4GBs single channel is slower than 4GB dual channel (for RAM)? It means zero in terms of true performance it is marketing crapola

  12. This being caused by your G sync monitor, and adaptive v sync and you need to lock refresh rate at 60 hertz to eliminate the issue. Skyrm requires a refresh rate no higher than 60 hertz because otherwise it creates issues with CPU driven physics. If you read up on it you will find the havoc engine does not play well over 60 hertz refresh rate. You may have to experiment a little bit with the actual refresh rate in order to Solve your specific issue.
  13. I agree, I literally have no idea what anyone is talking about anymore... Simple enough, You should also understand the VRAM has nothing to do with FPS that is determined by GPU and VRAM memory controller bandwidth. TESV.exe has a well documented 3.1 Gig system memory usage limit. enbhost.exe uses deferred rendering to break up the rendering workload on into another process, therefore able to circumvent the memory usage limit. Direct X 9 shadows the frame buffer into the system memory, and virtual memory with a user/driver determined number of pre rendered frames that are shadowed prior to entering VRAM VRAM acts as a FIFO (first in first out) buffer to the GPU, Do not think of these as static terms. Good drivers effectively make use of what ever your physical System/VRAM happens to be. This is why from a vanilla install I recommend that people put in Sheason's Patch and ENB boost. On the bright side when you receive the the updated game in November, it will be 64 bit and should solve most issues.
  14. I'm not sure what market you are in but everything looks okay other than the power supply is not in the light side you need 600 to 650 watts minimum to give you proper overhead so you don't tax the life of the power supply. Fortran source, are not known for being the most reliable or doing a good job in controlling the rail voltages I would recommend either a Seasonic or XFX they are both high quality Memory is memory and having faster memory means zero because of the nature of the Intel memory controller that is integrated in the CPU. You get a platform level of performance with Intel adding various different kinds of memory just cost money and yields zero performance. There are numerous reviews in various tech magazines that verify this to be true.
  15. Please don't skin my kitty   Thank you for your suggestions, I really appreciate it. I'd like to avoid using the injector version because I've never had a good experience with it and the ENBs I look at are designed for use with the wrapper version. I'll have to look for a driver add-on or for a program somewhere so thank you. And its good to know that I shouldn't really have to worry about vram usage, I will be using 1080p for my gameplay. But, I will go to 4K for when I take screenshots for my instagram @belladovah but if I'm only on to take screenshots then I wont really care if it crashes haha! All that matters is that it won't crash during gameplay. I'm definitely not going to switch to Win7 because I love Win10 for every other aspect except this cap. Well to me Windows 10 is a broken joke How can you create something that is backward force it down everyone's throat, and call it anything other than the steaming pile that it is..... It reminds me of Windows Bob Find it ironic that they were giving away even to pirates... If you look at Microsoft they are in decline Hopefully their next operating system they will have learned a this lesson.
  16. There are a few ways to skin the cat... Try running the injector version rather than the wrapper. If that does not work then go to Nvidia and they have built into their driver add-ons a sort of clunky interface. If you go to guru 3-D they may have something there Or maybe one of the other tech sites Keep in mind if you're just doing 1080 P is 1080 P the only when you go to 1440 P or higher that you would have to worry about the VRAM being an issue. I personally think you should try to do a dual boot of Windows 7
  17. Big picture strategy should be to understand that laptop warranties are typically one year only when you purchase an additional warranty or purchase a laptop with a longer warranty do they actually have the proper heatsinks fans and thermal solutions that have a certain level of quality. This thing is important to understand is that most laptops are built with planned obsolescence in mind. With a desktop you typically have three years manufactures warranty on virtually all the components unless you buy off-brand or cheap motherboards. You get more bang for the dollar performance wise, and the upgrade typically is about 400 dollars to update motherboard CPU and memory or whatever the cost of the video card It's extremely important to buy the best case you can afford and power supply there are affordable top-quality power supplies If you buy top-quality motherboards that have a five-year warranty they have top quality components and their bill for extreme durability. With one of my builds I was able to use the LGA 1366 motherboard and CPU for about seven years and updated the video card once during that time frame.
  18. Wow your load order is a mess............. no wonder you have issues... Eliminate the individual patches and use USLEEP and get your LOOT working correctly Go to step Wikipedia and install Sheasons patch (SKSE .ini) and ENB boost exactly per their instructions.Get LOOT working properly exactly per their instructions. Your load order should be easier to manage when you get the basic Crap Done
  19. O.k., hi Reynard and thanks. As noted in the OP, I use ENB so ENBoost is part of the package. Specifically, I'm using RealVision for Climates of Tamriel V with the ENB .305 binaries. Also, I have Sheson's patch installed but it gets superseded by Crash Fix's malloc, set up to work with ENB (i.e., ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false and ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true). I can post my LOOTed load order if you think it might help, but from my own experimentation moving ESPs around isn't breaking this setup, it's more like adding or removing ESPs is pushing the exe over a threshold or bringing it back. I know that individual ESPs have a maximum number of records they can store; does anyone have any idea if TESV.exe has a maximum number of records it can process for example? Or is that just memory bound? My setup is a sliver under 2.6 million when run through TES5Edit. While the game has been out 4 years and nine-months and SkyRim has been rock solid stable for roughly the last two years if you pay close attention to the Step Project and follow what they said religiously. The bug fixes That you have installed are new, and are not properly tested. Stick with the program, or you have half assed implementation. After reviewing the Real vision requirement you need a 279 binary in order to properly install it. 1. Download ENBSeries v0.279 (enbseries_skyrim_v0279.zip) by clicking here and put it somewhere convenient. There are basic elements of the step program that deal with proper memory allocation and how to set the ENB initialization files properly. This entire program is an excellent reference. If you want stability you pay attention.
  20. There are no two installations that are identical................ that being said you need to test your installation and determine where the conflicts are if you're going to run at or near the plug-in limit you need to do some combining of plug-ins in order to maintain stability. Every time I make a new install I have to go through and test extensively in order to maintain stability. No one can legitimately troubleshoot your issues without knowing your load order We also need to know are you running an ENB have you installed ENB boost or shesons patch... What you're describing is memory allocation issues but if you want help you need to tell us more information.
  21. Well you probably have a couple more mods that you need to go through, and do more extensive testing. I did not see where you are using ENB boost I would imagine when you properly apply that using the STEP Wiki info you will solve most of the rest of the issues. This should straighten out the rest of your memory allocation issues if you properly implement it.
  22. Hey sorry about that, This has been a common issue with lots of other folks... but I think that I know what is wrong with what appears to be your ENB installation. I've seen this before when I screwed up This STEP http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB guide should help you to figure this out it is a relatively simple setting.Basically How your shadows are rendered and shadow striping
  23. You are primarily having this problem because you are not following the mod authors specific installation instructions please review their instructions and use COT 3.1 The mod author designed real vision to be used with the older version on of COT. The mod author has some very specific instructions if you're not going to follow them, then you should be prepared for the lack of results. You also need to use the older ENB binary as he has specified as well.
