  1. Please take a look at the link at the top of this forum how to ask for help Because you are a first-time member it is important to understand we cannot read your mind and we know nothing about your game installation Come back with some information we will try to help
  2. What is the base resolution of your monitor? At what resolution are you trying to run at? Does the monitor support a higher refresh rate? What operating system are you running on? 1080P 1080P Traditional 60 htz. Windows 10 Pro Been thinking about Oculus But not sure yet as my CPU is a 4.0 ghz Hex Core I7-970 and I really don't want to upgrade to some I5 four core just to make Oculus app happy. Thank you Jones117. I'll try that. Well there is your issue Boris Vorontsov only supports ENB on Windows 7..... You can go to the ENB development website and see if there is a workaround but my understanding is they are hit and miss. So you'll either end up having to dual boot Windows 7 or live without...

  4. Whoops sorry, forgot to put those in my post. Windows 10 and Climates of Tamriel for weather and lighting and "Project ENB" Not entirely sure I put them in right though :/ shadow striping before all this nonsense happened. I was afraid of that Boris V only supports ENB officially on Windows 7 there are some workarounds but they are hit and miss. You may end up having to dual boot Windows 7 in order to truly solve this issue. You can go on the ENB development website and see if this is changed, but I do not believe that it has.
  5. ENB is only supported on Windows 7 only.... Boris V the ENB Creator has laid that out over on his website There are some workarounds but they are hit and miss Good luck
  6. There is no correlation between the VRAM size and GPU performance. You need to look at the model or series of the GPU and compare that with the game specification requirements. There are other factors at stake but this is fairly straightforward.
  7. Unfortunately. Boris has made the decision that he is not supporting Windows 10 with ENB.... There are some workarounds that are hit and miss, but unfortunately the you'll probably end up having to either dual-boot and whatever other operating system that you can get to work.
  8. No one can see your pictures unless they join whatever the services that you chosen to host the photos upon. Put the photos up on photo share for Nexus.... So others can see the pictures Thank you
  9. Which ENB ? You need to go to STEP WIKI and run through and follow their advice and confirm the .ini settings for your ENB and the rest of the game. You need to have USLEEP in order to follow good practices.... Dump NMM... Go to Mod Organizer After that is done then make sure you have the other bug fixes in place... Sheeson SKSE Safety Load and ENB Boost following the STEP instructions... That will be a starting point..... Test and Report back..... Oh WOW Windows 10 and ENB is a Nightmare...... Technically Boris does not Support There are some workarounds ... but they are hit and miss..... You might end up Dual booting W7 to solve this...
  10. This is why I use Mod Organizer that has a virtual install rather than physical
  11. Yes MO it will act more intuitively
  12. Take the SMIM and extract it to a folder, to see the file structure that you need to go and remove those files from your data, and textures and all of the other components in order to totally remove. Lots of fun....
  13. Because you have chosen to take and install DLC in an Un-managed method it is throwing Mod Organizer for a loop therefore suggesting the changes. I would recommend that you put the plug-ins so that they are managed by mod organizer.
  14. It is a Ferrite choke that is there to minimize voltage drift for the controller chips.
  15. Move USLEP from Item #10 to Item #5 and go from there ... test the crap...
  16. Realvision ENB REQUIRES THAT YOU INSTALL the older COT version 3.1 and it has the name "project reality - Climates of Tamriel" You currently have in COT version 5.0 and do is because of that naming convention "Climates of Tamriel" that I know that you have the wrong file. The mod author of Realvision ENB has not updated his page recently, and it is in sad need of attention. There have been changes that are not incorporated, and if you do not pay attention you will make mistakes.
  17. Yes, cleaned all dirty Plugins. According to the instruction here it's correctly installedhttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30936/? You have COT version 5 installed otherwise you would see the prefix "Project Reality" In the name of version 3.1 of COT. RealVision ENB has to be installed to the mod authors instructions. You also have a cluster of mods that are outside of RealVision ENB installation instructions. If you had taken the time to read the instructions, and the STEP Wikipedia then you would have figured this out. So in the the five minutes between posts you clearly did not take enough time to read and understand the above mentioned information. You need to take responsibility and read and test it is your load order.
  18. There is something wrong with the game installation, or the installation of your ENB. Go to step wiki and that should assist you. Rather than getting into long and involved threads here.
  19. First of all you are at the limit which is part of the reason why the you are unstable but I would also go back and look at your download history and begin removing mods based on last in first out...... you also need to get Merge Plug ins and create some merges... And reduce the number considerably.
  20. Without modifications it was a very bleak world that was called Skyrim, and not until numerous hours of work by a mod teams were released did the game become more refined and playable. With this in mind there were the authors of many minds that put hours of work into donating to the community with the idea that the community was worth the investment of their time their blood their sweat and tears. I have always been a proponent for trying to give the MOD authors a higher recognition, when they make a mod that uses good development practices. Meaning that the mod performs per the supplied documentation in the Nexus description page. And also that the mod does not break the core elements of the game. In three years of playing Skyrim I, have experienced numerous mods that are not properly documented, categorized, or the effects of the mod fully disclosed. While I understand that you can have conflicts with proper testing you can quickly establish that the mod has minimal or no issues. I have also run into MOD authors that do not listen to feedback about what you have tested and or observed. I have also run into some of the most caring and receptive MOD authors here at the Nexus they fall into the category of Elite, they invest Thousands of hours into listening to feedback, and improving their mods and interacting with the community proactively and unassumingly giving good advice and being helpful in supporting the forums and the community here at the Nexus. However there are others that ignore the community and withdraw from the community, there is too much at stake to permit people fighting against each other. Unfortunately I look at this kind of like what Mjoll says about the Thieves’ Guild “They will stab each other in the back over a few septims”. Is this what we’ve become? There needs to be transparency and accountability when you enter into a monetization system there is no way of identifying one person’s work from another in some cases. The current system is also compromised by the ability of the customer to exploit the system there is a bug that has been documented that allows the material to be copy pasted and the receive a refund. This becomes an exercise in micro economics 101 and that is what the value set by the market is? This is known as the equilibrium price as determined by the consumer. What is the fair market value of the item? This is setting a precedent with the monetization of these items. Has Steam/Valve gone too far in trying to create revenue from the work of others because of the economic pressures that they are under with the failure of Elder Scrolls Online? ESO is clearly a failure when you go and observe play on twitch TV and you see the lack of server population and how fractured the gameplay is after observing numerous times that even with the free play option there has been limited sales. When a business model breaks down it reflects the lack of thought and situational analysis that went into their business plan. They clearly have fallen down in the areas of game play mechanics and never addressing deep seeded problems that have clearly existed since the inception of the game. I’m not sure if Steam/Valve is attempting to unseat Electronic Arts as the most despised company for 2015. I, know that there was clearly a discussion about this months ago. The other factors that need to be considered are the flawed business practices of Steam/Valve. There clearly was little thought being given about the firestorm that this has created, and the blowback effect that will tear the community apart and reduce their bottom line rather than in enhancing it. There clearly has been no consideration to human psychology and organizational psychology they have shown that they are capitalists playing and simple when there is a cure such as their is right now people are extremely passionate about their feelings and the discussion becomes extremely polarized this polarization is what tears a community apart. There tends to be a lack of diplomacy when you are dependent upon revenue stream, that can be difficult to budget based upon broken models it tends to be a systemic issue that manifests itself with challenges of integrity that are misconstrued. For the sake of the community everyone needs to step back for a moment and walk in each other’s shoes, it is only when you understand the other person’s point of view that you understand why they are as passionate about their position. Everyone needs to step away and consider the other parties, people who have no vested interest in this conversation need to stop stirring the pot. This community exists because of the insight of one individual, and that individual has created an excellent community if we allow the community to fragment it does not bode well for anyone. I personally have enjoyed my time here at the Nexus. Please end the drama, try to understand what are the forces at work, and the solution is how you vote with your cash. Micro econ 101. Please try to be diplomatic Thank You !
  21. ok so I use msi afterburner and task manager to see how much ram skyrim is using its not that hard to understand. if i use afterburner I do heightened ram usage minus regular ram usage Is this a new install ? New system ? old system upgraded ? need to know more....
  22. You will never get a solution waiting for NVIDIA they have their Bangalore team working at it...So they have gotten your cash.. with no solution. The cards have been out for Six Months.....There are no solutions in the pipeline. I have a GTX 970 the biggest issues are not setting up correctly, and lack of profiles. I have been able to get mine operating correctly. Good luck with waiting on NVIDIA !
