  2. That would be very cool. Heck, I'd settle for the vanilla player house to just be much nicer. Why would a house like that even be allowed to be built next to Rosentia Galenus' big orange manor beside it? Haven't these people ever heard of zoning?? I run a mod that makes the IC Waterfront shack much nicer, so I know it's doable.
  3. Lonewolf beat me to it, but yeah, I can't help but think that about half the ruins out there are just intended for use as modder's resources. I use them for my own mods just to make sure they're out of everyone else's way.
  4. Oblivion Construction Set. I never knew it was that easy. Man, that would have saved me SO much hassle over the years.
  5. I've been wanting to do a mod for years now called "Mission to Masser." Check it-- Umbacano had a habit of sending you out looking for stuff without saying why, and his reasons turned out to be much bigger than you expected. So, what about those 10 statues? They dont really look like statues, do they? Also, why did they go to so much trouble to keep them away from the humans when White Gold tower fell? To me, they look more like fuses. Don't they? I envision a mod where you have to steal back those statues and figure out where they really go. Once in place, they allow you to activate a teleporter deep in the Old Way sub-basement beneath the tower. That takes you to Masser, OR it takes you to a remote place where the Ayleids and Dwemer once worked together to build rockets and a launchpad to fly there the hard way. Either way, you eventually do some questing and finally find yourself on the big red moon of Masser, looking up in the sky a huge Nirn above. That's when the trouble starts. You're not alone, and the locals weren't expecting company.
  6. MY perfect ending sees: The Fiends wiped out completely. The Khans becoming farmers and ranchers. ( albeit really tough ones) The BOS left in their bunker, free to leave only if working in service to Vegas. The Boomers opening up Nellis a bit and interacting with everyone. The Followers coordinating all of this stuff. Freeside cleaned up and made more habitable. The Van Graffs gone. The Kings still in place, but now working for me. The NCR troops still allowed to garrison in Vegas. The Powder Gangers given a choice, depending on their crimes, to settle or die. The Vipers exterminated. Expeditions to Vault 22 and Big Mountain launched to gain useful knowledge.
  7. Does anyone know anything about when we will finally see some episodes of season 2? It's already November!
  8. How about a vault under Vault-tec HQ? It always seemed odd to me that they didn't have themselves a private vault under their own headquarters. ( and a GOOD one at that ) The overseers of the other 122 vaults reported to somebody, right? Well, here are the records and the remaining surviving Vault-tec personnel.

  11. This is amazing. There was a guy a few years ago who made the entire interior of the original 1701 on the Fallout engine, completely bringing the Enterprise to life. He posted some breathtaking screenshots, said he was building a huge Trek mod, and then vanished. I sure hope you don't vanish. I have a good feeling you won't. Does anyone remember that other guy? Maybe he can help with this if anyone can find him.
  12. The elevator out of the vault is bugged for me, always taking me back to Vera's room instead of out of the casino. I need console codes to get out, but that causes more problems. Very annoying.
  13. So.... any progress on this? Did it turn out to be as easy as hoped?
  14. DM is glitched for me, never ending correctly, so I hate it. I have to use console commands to leave the casino, but then it won't clear from my quest list.
  15. Even only half-finished, this is still one of the top-10 mods of all time. Such a pity she gave up on it.

  17. I tried this mod. It doesn't work, but I guess you know that. All it does is leave me stuck in the projector room, where I watched the ending slideshow, with no way to escape. Good luck with fixing it!

  19. Wherever we wind up, I would like to see one thing: SPOILER ALERT . . . . . The aftermath of the wrecked enemy mothership from Mothership Zeta. It came down SOMEWHERE. What happened when it did?
  20. I think that caps have weight in Hardcore, but I'm not really sure. If so, this would solve a big problem. Anyway, YES, the bottlecap press does indeed pop up a message box when activated. Finally, a SM bar weighs 35 pounds but is only worth 300 caps in bar form??? This mod would fix THAT, too, as the cap value would be much higher. THANKS!!!!! This is bound to be popular!

I'd like a mod that lets us use the bottlecap press in the Sarsaparilla factory to convert the Sierra Madre gold bars into a whole bunch of golden botlecaps, ( about 200 per bar ) and these caps should be worth about 50 regular caps each. Selling them as curios would be okay, but being able to use them like regular money would totally rock, too. Gold caps would be nifty, weigh less in hardcore mode, and would be easier to convert into regular money. If the cap press has already been wrecked in the Crimson Caravan quest, a high repair skill of 80 or so should be able to fix it. Then a script to "use" it would remove 1 gold bar from inventory and replace it with 200 gold caps.
  23. I got the Ultimate Edition. It installed and my Steam account says that all the DLC's are installed, but they are nowhere to be found. Well, I did get the four starter equipmnt packs, but no other DLCs
  24. Hi. I haven't really read through this whole thing, but have you guys considered the "Face" at Cydonia? I always sorta figured that if any aliens ever wanted to leave a message ( or device ) for us to find someday, that's where they'd leave it. My apologies if that's something you covered nine pages ago.
