  1. what happens if you increase your shadow resolution? i had a similar problem with smoke once with enb.
  2. he took the mod off the nexus because his candidate didn't win the u.s. presidency, iirc. it WAS called civil war overhaul, so maybe a web search for it would turn up some additional information.
  3. crash fixes should fix the running out of vram crashes, anyway. loot orders the plugins based on user-submitted metadata, so it can and does sort them wrong. you probably do have some plugin issues, but due to the vast number of possible mod combinations, most of the time you probably won't get a specific answer for your unique situation. i can tell you how to look through and see, though. open up tes5edit, and load up all of your plugins. once that's done, in the list of plugins over to the left, right-click in the empty space and select "apply filter". the default selections should work, but in the upper-hand left under "by conflict status overall" uncheck the first and fourth boxes that say "single record" and "override without conflict" so you don't have to wade through them. all the other boxes, leave checked. push the button that says "filter" and wait until it's done. all the records you still see are conflicts of varying severity. some will crash your game, and some will just make parts of a mod not work. others you probably wouldn't even notice. from here, i'd recommend just browsing through and seeing what's going on. hopefully you can find something that's obviously just in the wrong order or maybe causes enough problems that you decide to live without it. also maybe you can search to see if patches exist between some of the mods.
  4. one thing i can see right away is that elfx weathers and supreme fog aren't compatible with vivid weathers. i don't see the point in enabling both vsync and the frame limiter. i wouldn't use an automatically generated merged patch, more than anything. if you ask me that's like asking for your game to crash.
  5. i don't mean to use tes5edit for cleaning itm records. you can use it to peek inside the plugins and see where game records overlap. you can use that to determine load order or even make patches. how much time you invest in tying all the mods together is up to you, and what works for me obviously may not work for you. all the tools are at your disposal to at least check and see if there's a problem before you've been playing for a couple dozen hours and hit a wall. i haven't touched nmm in years, but i run v1.3.11 of mod organizer on windows 10 without any issues or errors. if nmm allows you to see which files are being overwritten between mods and rearrange them, it should work just as well. geck is a script editor that can be found on the nexus. i just use it in case i need to look at the scripts, nothing more.
  6. windows 10 has a habit of setting permissions on stuff in program files, so i'd highly recommend installing both steam and mod organizer somewhere else. installing and running fnis through mo is correct, but you'll want to run the one in the virtual data folder, in the right pane of mo under the "data" tab. any files it generates will go to overwrite.
  7. probably either a load order issue or missing master. did you try loading everything in tes5edit to see if you get an error?
  8. for that mod, the bodyslide files are in separate downloads (due to file size). did you go through and grab them all? edit: for reference, the hdt bodyslide files should be labeled 06, 08, 10, 12, and 13 in the optional downloads.
  9. if you just need the masters in your plugin that you're overwriting the bashed patch with, though, you should be able to right-click it in tes5edit and "add masters...". you might try the "calculate for each item in count" and "calculate from all levels <= player's level" flags instead of "use all" if you want to keep the npcs from having multiple armor sets. i looked in the book of uunp for an example of how to get the lists right with multiple armors.
  10. you have a pretty short list, but honestly the only way to be 100% sure there's no problem with your load order is to check the plugins yourself. i personally first check all the conflicting files (using mo) and if a script is being overwritten, i load them up with geck and look at them. depending on the mods and what they do, i decide which should overwrite which (i don't change them). then i load up the full plugin list in tes5edit. once it finishes, i right-click in the left side (the list of plugins) and pick "apply filter" from the menu. in the top left of the dialogue should be some checkboxes. all should be selected except for the FIRST and FOURTH ones. click the "filter" button, and then i can see all the records in the newly added plugin which conflict with another one. i use these records to determine where i should place the new plugin in my load order, and also whether or not i need to either a) find a patch or b) make one. all of this depends on sensibility and one's own judgement, but be careful when making any changes. a web search for "skyrim conflict resolution" will give a lot more information. by following these procedures i never have to wonder what a mod does or how it might affect the game. sometimes i see other things such as, say, a record that invokes a script being overwritten. not all problems can be avoided this way, but careful modding is the only way i've found to come to a satisfactory result in the end. hope this helps.
  11. should be ok to just remove them lines i think. if you want to run skse to use all your cpu cores, there's a thing in this guide under '9. Icing on the Cake' that might help.
  12. i've never had any problems with grass on steroids conflicting with another plugin, so i don't think that would be the issue.
  13. not sure if this helps, but have you tried just changing the mesh in the plugin?
  14. have you tried moving the skse scripts below your dlc? also the order of those should be dawnguard, then hearthfires, then dragonborn. * also the high res packs should probably go below those.
  15. you don't need unp, cbbe, or dream girl and depending on the order they're in you might be overwriting your better females textures. bodyslide comes with all of them. honestly, if you're having troubles so far with just that stuff, it might be a good idea to slow down a bit and get everything set up properly as a bedrock to build up with mods. this guide has some broken links at the moment, but up to the actual mods part it's the best i've seen in terms of setting up a good foundation. this guide is really good for making sure all the game settings will work. this one should be a good start for setting up your enb. another thing you might look into is making sure all your nvidia settings are right. none of the mods should be the problem at this point unless you have a bunch of ridiculous textures you didn't mention. i'd personally keep the mods on the hdd due to the excessive read-writes involved in modding, but then again it's debatable and i've not spent any serious time looking into the effects.
  16. i haven't upgraded my hardware in quite a while, but i think that you shouldn't go overboard like 4k ring textures and such. i've spent... a ridiculous amount of time optimizing things with a favorable cost/benefit ratio in mind, and i don't think that just goes out the window when you have a good rig. that said, your problem might not be hardware, but an installation oversight or a specific thing that's sucking your vram dry. let's see some actual -useful- information, like what you even have installed.
  17. complete crafting overhaul makes some recipes require additional things, and makes some junk more useful. charcoal and glass are used for making ingots. i think some of the cloaks, if you use cloaks of skyrim with it use linen as well. if you like campfire/frostfall those books can be used for fires. hunterborn and scrimshaw expanded makes animal parts much more useful. i just found another mod called clothingcraft that looks neat if you want to craft some clothing for some reason. oh also complete alchemy and cooking overhaul has options that make the alchemy junk more useful. i use perma, and it even has a couple perk trees that focus heavily on using junk for things. i use all those, and junk feels a lot more useful. also, i have a lot more junk to collect because they add some too.
  18. as far as i know you can't create new records, only edit existing ones. on the tes5edit page it says:
  19. the "data folder" in this case is a "virtual directory", and one of mod organizer's major "selling points". it just points to where the actual files truly exist on your computer (in this case, your mod organizer directory). any problems with things not having sex should probably be directed to the loverslab forums.
  20. have you tried cleaning the scripts from the save file?
  21. morrowloot bears a strong resemblance to what i think you're talking about treasure-wise. the leveled lists for generic npcs are easy to change. whole lot of named npcs in the game though.
  22. if you go back before the 30 days the timer starts over. did you try just resting/sleeping somewhere far away for 30 days?
  23. lol i got 100 more if you ever need them
