  1. Thanks for the reply. I suspect your right. Hopefully a couple more people can also chime in to boost my confidence in this matter because I'm beginning a new playthrough with aMidian - Book of Silence and a couple other armor mods and I don't want to get halfway through the game when I suddenly notice armor that got goofed... know what I mean?
  2. I'd like to humbly request a mod that changes the music from the main menu into the theme song from Game of Thrones. There is a mod that already exist which changes the main menu music to GoT, but it's a piano cover instead of the real theme from the show. If anyone is up for it I would for sure be grateful. Hopefully others would like the idea too. Thanks for listening :)
  3. What should be the load order for armor mods and CBBE? For example; CBBE is conflicting with Frankly HD Imperial Armor, Frankly HD Dawnguard Armor, Frankly HD Dawnguard Armor CBBE, and aMidianBorn Book of Silence. Thanks :)
  4. Hi all. The mod author for these mods has closed the comment section and the compatibility list doesn't seem to mention Sacrosanct anywhere. That leaves the forum as the last place to ask questions about the following mods. Do these three mods play well together; Apocalypse, Ordinator, Sacrosanct? Thanks!
  5. Anyone think it would be neat to have the Gildergreen Tree look like a Weirwood from GoT?
  6. I was able to get some info about what happened. It was taken down for potential copyright reasons. There was no copyright infringement, but Nexus didn't know that at first and took it down as a precaution <-----According to mod author. Apparently, everything is good now and the mod is back up and I noticed they added a disclaimer stating they have permissions for the artwork and script. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38092 My gut instinct told me it could be malware, but was happy to find out it's a safe mod. Try it out if you liked MTG growing up. I've already found a few cards and it's fun. Pointless, but fun. Thanks for the replies.
  7. A new mod came out yesterday and I downloaded it. Haven't installed it yet. Today, I went to the mod page a saw this message; This mod is under moderation review (since 09 Jul 2020, 3:51AM ) What are the reasons that would lead to a mod being under review?
  8. I can't count how many times dialogue started and I missed it. Or, sometimes I hear a NPC begin dialogue in the background and by the time my attention is on them the subtitles are already gone and I haven't a clue what they said. Orgnar and his wife are a good example. They start talking and Orgnar often makes humorous remarks in a monotone voice. I've missed many of these comments because reasons, but a dialogue history would make it so you can look up dialogue you missed. Anyone ever use Notification Log? Link: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27707 ^^A mod like Notification Log but for dialogue could be very convenient for those times you missed something. Lord knows I don't ever want to miss one of Orgnar's jokes... with a Dialogue History mod you'll never miss a Orgnar joke again ;) Anyone up for the task?
  9. You have my sympathy OP. All animals are special. And Dogs have a particularly special spot in our hearts. Sorry for your loss.
  10. This armor was always one of my favorites growing up. Dakkon Blackblade used to be my favorite card mainly because the art (although he could potentially be OP in a game too ). The second picture doesn't have all his armor on, but it does have a better view of the belt, kilt, and shinguards.
  11. Anyone think it would be neat to have Alduin look like Deathwing?
  12. For future Googlers who may have this issue, I 'think' I fixed it by doing two things; 1. I removed many 4k textures and swapped them for 2k textures. This brought my VRAM usage to 7.0GB which is down from 7.8GB (on a 8GB GPU). I suspect the high VRAM usage may have caused some items to not appear immediately. For example; Alvor would hammer on the workbench but the hammer was invisible. Farmers would sometimes till the earth but the hoe wouldn't appear. Giants would carry clubs over their shoulders but you couldn't see the club. Since I lowered the VRAM usage I haven't seen invisible objects (play on words in that last sentence ;) lol ). 2. When starting a new game I load all my mods in the Alternate Start prison and some later in my player home after all the introduction scripts have finished. After all mods are successfully loaded I make a save, then reload the game so that it starts with all mods already configured, make a new save, reload again, when game loads (remember that this is the first time the game has loaded with all mods already installed and already configured) I use the wait feature to skip forward 30 days in game. After 30 days have past all cells reset. This should make all naked NPC's refer back to their inventory so they actually use the clothes. I suspect what was happening was I loaded mods that change clothing and the NPC's hadn't 'adjusted' to the new clothes yet. But, after 30 days the clothes will be on the NPC. I have no way of knowing that this officially solved missing clothes and invisible items, but so far it seems to be working. Best of luck to future Googlers.
  13. Once in a while, it's rare, but I'll come across a naked bandit. They have gear when I loot their corpse, but they aren't wearing it. I assumed this was a mod issue, but I found plenty of threads that reported this in vanilla too. More commonly it seems to be nude couriers but I've yet to see one of those. I only see nude bandits. However, I read somewhere in a thread found on Google that waiting 30 in-game days will reset all the cells and should fix any nude NPC's. <----Is there any truth to this? Is there any downside of waiting 30 days as far as gameplay and lore are concerned? As a alternative, I've been opening the console, selecting the nude NPC, then typing 'resetinventory' which seems to work well... but it would be nice to solve the problem because opening the console to fix a nude NPC is a great way of breaking immersion :) I appreciate any and all input or advice. Thanks!
  14. I'm experiencing a minor issue with Footprints; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3808?tab=description The majority of the time Footprints works flawlessly. But, every once in a while I get squares around the footprints. I can not figure out what is causing this to happen. Unfortunately, the mod page for both LE and SE don't have a 'Post', 'Forum', or 'Bugs' tab. And, the author can't receive PM's. Hopefully someone in these forums has seen this issue before. I appreciate any help or advice you could lend me. Thank you. Here is a screenshot;
  15. This looks almost perfect! Thanks Shabdez! I'm installing it now :)
  16. Thank you so much! I did everything as you said. It was surprisingly simple considering I've never done anything like this before. I moved the light source inside of the fireplace and the shadows looked perfect on the render screen. I clicked save, and it saved successfully. Next, I deployed the load order and saved the external changes. Then, I load into the game and go inside the player home and it hasn't changed at all??? I'm sure I missed something simple, but I can't figure it out. EDIT: I checked Tumblestone Cottage for conflicts in SSEEdit, but there aren't any. EDIT2: Just to be sure the changes saved I started CK again and loaded the player home. Sure enough, all changes were saved because the changes still appear when I look at it in the render screen. EDIT3: Maybe I should remove the player home. Make a save with it uninstalled. Then, reinstall the player home, make edits in CK before loading the game, save CK changes, deploy load order, then load from the clean save? EDIT4: Loaded from a clean save and all changes are showing. Looks perfect now! Thanks for your help! How do I give a kudos from the forum? EDIT5: I swear this is my last edit. I think this is the most edits I've ever done. Anyways, found your Nexus profile and gave a kudos. Thanks!
  17. Hi all. I'm looking for a mod that will automatically make regular saves. Does such a mod exist? Specifically, I'm looking for a mod that will automatically generate a regular save every time I press Select or Start, or when I sleep, travel, open the console, etc... Anyone know of anything?
  18. There is a player home I really like; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4518?tab=images The light source for the fireplace is placed outside the fireplace on the other side of the cooking pot. If you're standing in front of the cooking pot and looking at the fireplace, then you're basically standing on the light source and it cast shadows in all directions. This also causes the cooking pot shadow to cast itself towards the fire instead of away from the fire. If you click the link to the mod and look at the picture with the fireplace, then you can see the cooking pot shadow going towards the fireplace instead of away. You can see it here... Is there a way to relocate a light source? In this case I want to put the lightsource in the fire so it looks correct and cast shadows in the right direction. P.S. I did make a bug report, but this mod has not been updated since 2016 and I don't think it'll be updated anytime soon lol. Thanks!
  19. Is there a mod that identifies questgivers and quest-turnin NPC's with a symbol like a (!) or a (?)? Two examples come to mind, WoW and Kingdoms of Amalur use the exlamation point and the question-mark to identify questgivers. Anyone know of something like that? Thanks :)
  20. Thanks Thandal. I messaged the author and they very very nicely said, NO. :) Appreciate the tip though!
  21. Thanks for the reply. Sure am glad I checked here first. I already messaged the individual telling them I'm going to check on the forums. I'll let them know I got the response and that they can't have it. I appreciate the info.
  22. Hi all. A mod was updated today and the older version was removed from the site. You can not get the older version unless you already have it. I have it. Someone sent me a PM through Nexus asking if I could send it to them. I figure it's harmless and I was about to send a File Dropper link, but then I thought it best to check here first to see what staff say. Although I believe it's harmless, I don't know if it's breaking a rule. I'm not trying to break a rule and get banned just to help someone get a version of a mod that was removed today. They want the last version because they are trying to follow a mod list and the version I have is part of that mod list, but of course they can't get that version anymore since today. I think they called the mod list Wabbajack. I dunno what Wabbajack is but I'd like to help them if it's not against the rules. Is it okay to share a version that is no longer available of a mod that is currently active? <----I hope that makes sense :) Thanks in advance.
  23. Hi all. I've been using Nexusmods and Vortex for about 6 weeks now... and I LOVE IT! Overall, the community has been very welcoming and helpful. And, Vortex is worth its weight in gold. As a noob I never would have been able to create a stable and bug free build with over 700 mods without Vortex and the Nexus community. Got some help from YouTube and the Steam community too ;) I think premium is worth buying, but also money is tight with the corona lockdown and no work. Does the lifetime option ever go on sale? Or, is there a promotional code, coupon code, something like that? Thank you.
