  1. I'm sorry, but that's really rude. Custom animations are a b&@*$ to do. Go out there, learn it yourself and don't insult other modders.
  2. I will take a look at it when I can, the Kamal are of my favorite races.
  3. I'll see if I can do this
  4. I think the easiest way to accomplish this would be fore the MQ to be disabled but have the Dovahkiin appear at several points in the game and have the player run into them. Eg, if you go to Whiterun at Level 40, you might see Odahviig stuck in the trap. Or Level 15, you watch the dragon at the Watch Tower die.
  5. Ah, the Skyrim Blog! RuneRed (the author) is a friend of mine over there, so I'll be happy to attempt this! Might not be as pretty as the above mod, however...
  6. I approve this idea. Could tie it into Hircine, the Lord of the Hunt. If a few other modders are willing to collaborate, I'll be willing to help out.
  7. I could whip up an Aang follow if I had the knowledge and know-how on to make custom warpaint so I can give him his tattoos
  8. I really like what you've done here! Great effort everyone :)
  9. ESP goes in Data, not sure about BSA personally and I don''t want to give you the wrong answer.
  10. I know there's a burrito mod out there... Maybe you can ask Jokerine to male some tacos? :P
  11. Okay then, if you're so smart and know everything, go make the mod yourself. Adding animations is the most difficult thing to mod to Skyrim, I know this. Don't be snarky to a person informing you some facts. Fyi, here's a link to a fishing mod
  12. Just thought of something -- What about equipping the fishing rod as a 'weapon' and when you swing it, the line 'casts' out? Anyone who knows a little about modding knows animation suck to mod. You can't add new ones and only old ones can be edited, which will cause you to run into problems later in the game. Sometimes you just gotta accept that you can't mod the way you want and think of a work around.
  13. Aren't kayaks heavy though? Imagine carting one of those around Skyrim...
  14. There was another topic about this around here somewhere... Anyways, as I recall, new animations can't be added to Skyrim, only edited. The best one could do is turn the fishing pole into an item, either drop it or 'cast' it into the water by swinging it like a weapon, nandnhaving a script run to see if you caught something or not. There would be a few problems with this, but it could be plausible.
  15. Hey, just offering solution to a possible problem. I would be happy with that, if it was done right, by adding in chnaces of getting a fish. Eg, 40% fail rate, 15% alchemy fish (like a spadetail), 30% salmon, 15% slaughterfish... It's a shame new animations are a b**** to implement and make, because a fishing mod is defiantly something I would use.
  16. I'm not sure about animation, but could one make the fishing rod added to your inventory, and then script it so when a player drops it into water, and have a message box will pop up saying if you caught something or not? I know almost nothing about scripts so this idea may sound implausible to people who do know what they're doing.
  17. I think it really depends on your personal tastes. I highly recommend the Unoffical patches for all the DLCs as a first step. Then... Play the game. If you go through and see something, like, I don't know, Breezehome and think to yourself, "Gee, Breezehome sucks. I should make it better..." Then go find a mod for it! :) As you play and try mods, you'll find ones that you might really like and other's you bloody hate. Everyone's tastes are different and thus, what one person might see as essential you could see as garbage. Regardless, I hope your modding experience goes well for you!
  18. Yes, they are. But in the appropriate threads. Person A asks a question. Person B (me) answers question. Person A says thank you and everything is fine. Person C decides to put his ESO-hating opinion on yet another thread and begins a storm. You see what I'm getting at? The $15 covers server upgrades and free DLCs and other content that needs to be added. This way, it guarantees that everyone is playing the same game with the same content. It's a little steep, but I think it's worth it.
  19. Why are you so determined to bash on ESO at every possibe chance? We get it. You don't like it. But you now what? That is your opinion, and that counts for nothing. Just.. go away. Nobody wants to hear your whining about ESO anymore. ^^^^^ Thank you.
  20. Well, pulling the bound dagger from the DLC would be illegal, seeing as your using Bethesda resources. I second Jokerine's links. Midas Magic does not need DLCs when I checked last
  21. I've had it up to HERE with you. We GET that you bloody hate ESO with all the burning fire in Oblivion, so why in hell do you feel like you must come onto a thread about someone asking about ESO and giviing an opinion that is completely rude and irrelevant. This person clearly WANTS to play it and is thinking about buying it, because he LIKES it, so go away and head back to the other test ESO threads you whinging on. Go play Skyrim, ignore ESO and stop hating on everyone that does and want to. Oh, and FYI, not everyone mods or wants to play immersive game!
  22. $15 per month, though there are bulk deals where it's cheaper to buy a few months at a time
  23. I tried with an EMB but had some issues with it so I took it off. Skyrim is pretty beautiful on it's own anyway :)
