  1. after using performance monitor it became clear that the problem is too much ram usage. Even after compressing textures. I had to get rid of radiant spawn engine.
  2. interesting. thanks. I'm going to give it one more go with a merged patch and smashed patch, but it seems instead of crashing with any of these mods, now im getting ILS. Weird thing is though that when I run skyrim performance monitor I'm nowhere near vram limit or memory limit prior to crash. I'm using Crash Fixes and SKSE memory blocks
  3. download crash fixes. Make sure you read the instructions. You need to download the preloader dll, and configure an .ini.
  4. The mods are vigilant.esp, summersetisles.esp, and dreamborn islands.esp. If I check any one of these mods ctd on load. Any ideas? it's a clean save in riverwood trader right out of helgen cave. lots of textures.
  5. run LOOT. did you run FNIS in data\tools? make a bashed patch.
  6. I figured I'd check in. I checked for errors in tes5edit and found some null values for stuff that needed to be manually carried over. Then I applied autobash tags and made a bash patch and the merged plugin works perfect!!! thanks for help!
  7. There are no scripts in any of the mods. None of the mods in the merged plugin are masters for any other plugin. Maybe you are right though, I will look into whether the formids are being changed by merge plugins and that is breaking the references to the masters.
  8. Merging these plugins: here is the merged plugin (dropbox) can't figure it out. When I load the plugins in the above order, no CTD. When I merge the plugins and use the merged plugin: ctd. suggestions?
  9. as far as animations go, I'm not sure if the file format is the same for new vegas, but zartar made this for skyrim: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38376/? for a sample he created a attack-jump animation using already existing animations.

  11. I figured out the problem! I copied tales from the burning sand.esm to .esp in flash, then made a minor edit in Geck, saved the plugin, and esmified the plugin in flash. This plugin seemed to be the problem! The question becomes, how can I make this minor edit to this esm then if this was not the correct way?
  12. I was at 130-131 before I starting getting texture and mesh glitches, and the jumbled containers/menus. After my most recent merge, suddenly I can't load 130, or 129. At 127 the bugs go away. What is the nature of the 140 plugin limit? Why is it so variable from person to person, and even dependent on plugins/load order?
  13. nah man. If you think this is impossible, or even especially difficult, I think you are mistaken. I may even take a stab at it myself.
  14. A leveled List generator. Basically the script could load all leveled lists in a players load order, as well as all items, weapons, armor, ammo, spells, ingredients, etc. You have three columns. The first column lists all the stuffs. in between the first and second column you can have a -> arrow and a <- arrow. The second column gets filled using the arrows with the items to be added to leveled lists. The third column would be a list of level lists (vendors, npcs, containers, etc). You can select using shift+ctrl what leveled lists you would like to add items to. Then you click generate script, and it generates a script that dynamically adds those items to those leveled lists. Then you can select new items to add to different leveled lists. When you are done you can click compile script, with an option to save as a separate .esp, or as a .psc file. bam
  15. I deleted [NAVI:00014B92] in the merged plugin, reopened in GECK, clicked find borders, remove overlaps, clean, and finalize, then saved the plugin. Is this the correct method? What is this I read about unpacking bsas, making esps false flag bsas, and adding bsas to geckcustom.ini?

  18. author was unfortunately banned. :-/ I hate how the mods are so quick to ban contributing members of the community. really leaves a sour taste for me.
  19. I would suggest PMing the mods author. The reason is because he was actually very quick and kind in replying to me with a link! his name is printerkop, and he is on the nexus.
  20. When using TG armors, some of the armors have profound clipping in first person when yielding a pistol. I think the fix involves separating the armors into pieces that correspond to body equip slots, but a fix would be very good!
