  2. Don't worry, thats still a work in progress, just thought i would do this seeing as its a Friday night and i wanted a little break from working on the Forbidden lands, thats all! ;)
  3. Good evening! Working on a playerhome mod which is currently called, "Wardrobe World". Not going to give much detail as to why, but here is the playerhome itself. (Interior still needs to be created.) More detail will be given when the mod has been created, but for now I have taken some screenshots as to what it currently looks like, and i will finish the playerhome tomorrow, and upload it to Nexus Mods! http://i.imgur.com/nPjlQdl.jpg

  5. It was the other way round for me! I finished the game. Got loads of mods, and then messed my game up. But yes, the main story is essential in my opinion. Without the story, there is no way i would have become this addicted to skyrim, but the mods are a large addition to my game also.
  6. I HAVE DONE A FEW HOURS OF WORK ON THE PROJECT TODAY, AND I CAN SAFELY SAY I AM GOING TO BE HAVING A BREAK FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. HERE IS WHAT I HAVE DONE TODAY. -The whole weather system, Lighting, and fog information has been changed drastically to give the lands themselves a more frightening aspect. This took me hours, and i mean hours. -Minor changes made on Flowerville cave -Large amount of lighting added around the town, due to the Lighting being changed, lights were needed to see around the town. (Lands are awfully dark, torches are going to be needed when playing.) -Villager NPC's have been added. (Around 3) -Beggar NPC has been added. -Inn Worker has been created, and dialogue has been given to him. Quest dialogue has also been recorded, but the quest itself still needs to be developed. -Changes made to the outskirts of the town (Forsworn camp detailed, Forsworn added, Locked gate, etc.) NOTE: SCREENSHOTS ON WHAT THE LANDS CURRENTLY LOOK LIKE CAN BE SEEN IN THE MAIN POST OF THE THREAD. THE LIGHTING THAT IS SHOWN IN THE IMAGES IS THE SAME DURING THE DAY, AND NIGHT. THE LAND WILL BE FOREVER DARK. (I DON'T KNOW HOW I DID IT, BUT I MANAGED TO DO IT, AND I CAN SAFELY SAY THAT MY LANDS LOOK HORRIFYING.) Thank you, and i will be making some more progress in a couple of days.   7. A may be wrong, but none of your mods should this. If you could enter fine with your previous character (If you did in-fact have a previous character with a rather high level) and it was fine, then its purely level based; meaning that you will have to level up to a certain extent before you can enter. I may be wrong, but going through your Load order none of the mods that you have will, or should stop you from entering Windhelm. Hope this helps. This has never happened to me personally, so hopefully if someone else has been in this situation before they will be able to assist you a bit more than i have. :)

Good morning to you all! :) As i have a busy day, and may not be able to do any work on the mod for a number of days, i decided to do some this morning for a few hours streight, just to make sure that some progress was made, just in-case im busy over the next few days. Here is a list of what has been done today: -Exterior of cave within Flowerville was made. -Dialogue was given to an NPC, to start the quest, but the quest itself still needs to be made. -Cave was created, along with an area including Levelled bandits. -Skeevers were added, as i believed that the cave needed a slight bit more hostility. I was planning on making a quest today, but a location was needed for the quest; hense why i decided to make the cave. The quest will be produced in the next bit of work i do, which may be in a few days. Thank you, and have a good day!
  9. I would have multiple followers, other than the fact that they can get annoying after a while. I remember when i had 3 followers; which is the most i've ever decided to have, using the Follower Overhaul mod, and by god it was the most annoying experience of my life. Every few seconds, they would catch up and then automatically say the same line. Can't really blame the game for this as it was the modders that did the voice acting for these characters, and obviously only gave them a single line to audibly say when coming to the player. But for now, i just stick with a single follower. Not only because it gives you alot more space, in small enclosed rooms, buildings etc. but it also makes it alot simple, and i can definetly tell you that its quieter! ;)

  11. I don't think the storyline itself has ever made me sad, its when you get a really close bond with your follower, and then all of a sudden they dissapear, or you accidently kill them. Of course, you can use resurrect but they lose all the belongings that you have given them, making them pretty useless. I wouldn't say losing the follower is the worse part, its when you give them a whole load of items and they suddenly go out of their way to die. It can get rather infuriating! ;)

  13. Good evening everybody! Some minor changes were made, as i have been playing alot of Skyrim today, and before i decided to head off, i thought i would do a little work on the mod. Here are some of the minor things that have been introduced: - Exterior of Flowerville has been begun, and some detail has been made. A Forsworn camp is going to be relatively close to the exit of the town, and a number of Forsworn members will have to be killed in order to carry on adventuring. -Detail added to the town -Terrain altered slightly The images of the Forsworn camp so far can be seen on the main post of the thread. More is to come, and i may do some work on the project tomorrow, if not the day after. Thank you, and have a good night. :)

  15. You reinstalled skyrim just for this head? You must be pretty desperate. If i was you, just simply go into Skyrim, and see if the head of your Actor is there. If it is, then you haven't got anything to worry about. Argonians heads don't display for me within the Creation Kit either, or alteast they didn't use to.
  16. Don't worry, i believe it was just due to me having really really bad script lag. Sorted it out, had around 3,103 un-needed scripts, and there i was wondering why all of my script events were taking atleast half an hour to take place! (Im talking about buying stuff from vendors, etc. It was a nightmare!) ;) Problems been resolved now, can't wait to play Skyrim with this problem off my hands.
  17. MORE WORK HAS BEEN DONE! SORRY I'VE BEEN INACTIVE FOR A NUMBER OF DAYS, BEEN DOING SOME HARDCORE SKYRIM PLAYING, RATHER THAN MODDING! ;) 25/10/14: NPC Dialogue introduced, minor Development on Flowerville: - Jade Hammerfell was created, as well as the dialogue to go with her. - 1 of the 2 guards outside Flowerville were given dialogue. This voice type will be used for other guards within the mod also, as its the best guard voice i can possibly put on. - Horse Tender has been developed, with a large amount of dialogue. Gives you a bit of information about his life also. - Player home is in development. Seeing as this is one of the few places within the Forbidden lands that is safe, it will require a playerhome. (IMAGE WILL NOT BE SHOWN).
  18. Hello, you lovely bunch of modders! I am going to make this quick, but hopefully it should be enough. As some of you may be aware, i am currently working on a project called, "The forbidden Lands", a new lands mod which aims to give the player a more challenging experience. I am not going to go into much detail, but if you would like to take a look at the ins-and-outs of the mod, and what has currently been made, then please click on the link below. :- Click here to check out my Forbidden lands mod! -: That being said, i would like to state that i am looking for people that would like to help me with the project. From scripting to texturing, i am looking for all the help the community is willing to give. I am planning on making this the best New lands mod that is currently out there. This may be a challenge, but it IS possible! HERE IS THE KIND OF WORK THAT I AM REQUIRING. I CAN DO MOST OF IT MYSELF, BUT HAVING A VOLUNTEER HELPING ME ALONG THE WAY, WOULD BE BENEFICIAL IN SO MANY WAYS -Texturers (Retexturing weapons already in skyrim, just for this mod. Due to the game being harder, i believe more badass textures would help get this immersive feel across). - Modelling. (Custom weapons and armors could be introduced into the mod). - Presentation Designers (Designing how the mod will look when published to nexus mods.) - Story/Book writer. (Someone who is willing to write books that will be included in the game, for the players to read. These stories could link together, or could slowly inform the player of how this "Forbidden Land" came into place.) -NPC Creator (Help me create NPCs, give them dialogue, characteristics, looks of certain NPC's, etc.) -Scriptwriter - (Help me do some scripting if it is needed.) -Other mod publishers (Allow me to use some of there assets within my New lands mod, to make it that extra bit better.) These are only a few of the ways you could help me. Due to this being Volunteerism, the only kind of payment i can give you is thankfulness and creditability.   20. Hello, Recently (By recent i mean i have no idea when) Alik'r warriors have managed to take over the forge, that can be seen when entering Whiterun. I have no idea how this happened, and Adrianne Avenicci for some reason is staying inside, and not going to her usual spot. My guess is, shes either scared of them, or she is being a lazy lass and making them do her work. If anyone has any information about this, then i would be grateful to be informed.   24. Hello guys. Thought i would create a Cinematic video (Focusing on solitude) to show you how amazing your game can look with a number of mods. I don't even run my Skyrim on the highest settings (don't want to kill my computer now do i?) and it still looks fantastic. The HD texture pack was made after the release of Skyrim (2011) in order to improve the visuals of the game. Even though Skyrim is a number of years old, the visual improvements you can do by simply getting mods and changing your settings is brilliant. Thank you to anyone that watches this, and i would like to thank those who produced these mods!
  25. Hello! Not sure if i need to use a certain template if i am looking for a voice actor, but here i go!: I am currently making a New lands mod, which goes by the name of, "The Forbidden Lands". For any reason you can take a look at it here! When reaching the lands themselves, i am going to be having a female NPC named, "Jade Hammerfell". She is going to be wondering how the dragonborn got there, and give him information in general. I really need a female voice actor for this. I don't know how many female voice actors are out there, but i hope for the best. If you are interested, and would like to have some recognition when the mod has been created, and help me in general, then please PM me! Thank you.
