Hi all I'm farily new to scripting, and even after trying the tutorials and playing around i'm still needing help I have a mod that converts armor to different characteristics but as it stands, it adds all recipes to the forge, really worsening the clutter so i thought i'd move it out to something like pillars where you activate the correct pillar (L to H, L to N, H to L, H to N) and it looks at the player's inventory and converts it for you the formula is very linear Light armor + 3 ingots = Heavy armor Heavy armor/Light armor + 1 ingots = Light/Heavy/Clothe On converting Heavy armor New weight = original weight/2 +1 new armor rating = original rating - 2 light armor new weight = original weight *2 +1 new armor rating = original rating + 2 Clothe (aka None in CK) new weight = 1 new armor rating = 0 so i know what conditions i need but can't seem to get started..if you could offer any help that would be most appreciated thank you

  4. number 6. have the children grow, throw tantrums, decide to join a faction and so you have to escort them there, and after certain in game period they become a follower with the factional skills!
  5. I think it might be better to release some screenshots with more playable or normal settings instead of burning your card so that we can see what we will actually experience in game

"tucked in" For skin tones I recommend SG textures renewal which is the most often used, but you can also search for others BBP requires a careful procedural install starting with a skeleton (namely XP32). Best to search up the appropriate plugins and read through their guide Males if you install ECE they come with a YgNord, or a Young Nord custom race with def younger looks. I don't go over than that

  10. The game runs very smoothly, hagravens toss fireballs at me like they should, and bosses rip my limb asunder so, so far so good thanks so much for thhe site really helps better than blue screen view

  12. Thank you for the help. i've been getting a few random ctd after unpacking seems like some kind of conflict. i'd love to check the dump files from SKSE but cna't find anything to open them
  13. so if i simply unpack the BSA of the merged ESPs, it will start working fine again right?
  14. ok so figured out something was indeed wrong boss monsters weren't attacking as they should be gonna redo the merging
  15. that's probably very hard to come by, since to finish the main quest and have all the dragon shouts just using vanilla is a freakin pain that's why there are some that save right at the character creation scene after you get off the cart, or ppl just use alternate start to skip that. there is an alternate start mod that lets you start with the main quest finished, but a save game, probably not
  16. when inquiring about mod conflicts or such it's always best to attach your BOSS list so that others can help you more easily

  18. the only problem i've found so far is with some of the robes added by Immersive Armors; they turn up purple it's funny because i didn't touch anything that has to do with immersive armors. as for special abilities by bosses and all, they work just fine too (i have high level enemies which uses BSAs) this is starting to make me wonder too. i hope it doesn't blow up down the road @rickerhk thank you for the tip. Thing is, i use NMM, and unless it's been configured to also load BSA even without plugins, i'm starting to get real curious as to how it's working i'll post screenshots of the merged plugins as shown in NMM

I'm at a place unable to load the game and try it out right now, so if someone could test this mod i created out for me, i would be most grateful. you just need to check one thing: If the Iron boot converts correctly, and if there are no errors on attempts to enchant this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54277/?   20. Haven't played Oblivion, but just reading it makes me excited. Skyrim does feel a little dumb, even with all the Immersive Patrols and other population mod, they never seem enough because the cities are so small, people just walk around endlessly, altho with mine i find them going back home when it's late and going into inns but i guess it's the mods doing on vanilla oblivion def sounds better

  22. No I use NMM and used TES5Edit to merge plugins. I used the script from here (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37981) to do it for me. Well as long as they work, i guess no problem? Or should I still extract the BSAs even now? Sorry i tend to get somewhat insecure but it takes long hours to switch back and forth and mod
