  1. Haha, following the dragonborn around would definitely make for a unique playthrough. :D
  2. This is the first 3-D character I've ever made... I think it looks pretty good, all things considered. I hope you guys like it! Took me quite a few hours and some headache getting used to everything. Thanks for any feedback, :D
  3. The dragon faction would be great!.. certain marriage NPC's would only marry you if they knew you were dragonborn. That would be hilarious! (NOW I AIN'T SAYIN SHE A GOLD DIGGER)
  4. I recently picked up Blender (no more than an hour ago) so that way I could use it in a custom Amnesia Story to make new, scarier enemies... but I don't know if you are able to import blender files into Amnesia's HPL Model Editor. If you can, I'm golden, I just need to know before I waste a few days making some really awesome NPC... If nobody knows on here, can they direct me to a site where more Amnesia players are? The Nexus is the only site that I have any connection with, because the community is great, so if nobody here plays Amnesia, is there a similar site more for Amnesia fans?
  5. When I try to use data from the main skyrim file, I get a message saying, "MASTERFILE: NavmeshInfo 00028e37 has no parent space, ignoring 'Yes to all' will disable all Warnings for this context" My Skyrim runs fine and I was assuming this was due to mods, however, I looked it up and some people were getting the same message with a clean install. Their copies seemed to run fine from what they said, but I just want to make sure that this isn't going cause any conflicts with anything I make. Thanks in advance.
  6. I thought that Skryim wasn't too bad with provoking thought. I mean, I knew it was worse than Oblivion. The quests were especially bland compared to Oblivion and the guilds took patience and trial to get into. In Skyrim it takes a week to be guild master! Yet, I still thought that the game was thought-provoking compared to these new age games where all you do is run and shoot... but I recently bought Amnesia: The Dark Decent, because I am a big fan of horror and was looking for a good, scary game, yet what I found was much more. There are no quest markers, no indicators. You have to read to advance through the game and most of what I've done so far is thinking, reading and puzzles. The monsters are a secondary. The scares are a secondary. It made me realize how babied I was on these new games. I'd forgotten what it was like to think for myself... and I personally would rather play a game like Amnesia than anything newer, but I'm not the majority. Obviously, everyone else wants these thoughtless games, but I think it's time for a revolution . I will no longer buy any thoughtless games, with the exception of The Elders Scrolls Series which is taking a turn for the worst, just at a slower rate. I will only buy these games, because of mods which will allow it to be the game it was meant to be. Other than that, I'm out. f*#@ new-age gaming.
  7. You'd be like a secret weapon of the Jarl's! (If you so chose)
  8. Yeah, but one of the biggest turn offs with LAL is that it has poor main story integration... I don't want to "hear rumors of dragons in Helgen" and go investigate for no reason. That makes no sense. Unless if you are specifically looking for adventure or whatever, you aren't going to investigate rumors.
  9. I love Skyrim Unbound, because it has a clean menu, plenty of options including multiple locations. However, it offers very little in the way of role-playing or story. Live Another Life has many interesting starts, but poor integration with the main quests. No Dragonborn disabling option. Little in the way of customization. Skyrim Unbound is the best alternate start I have found, but I just wish it could give me a push sometimes... I never know where to go or what to do. Recently I've been doing a little in the way of roleplaying and it was a lot easier and I will continue to do that, but I think this would create the best alternate start mod if anyone is interested. (Also, sorry for posting so many mod requests... sometimes, I'm just like, "You know what I feel like doing right now? Flying a hamburger into Bleak Falls Barrow with a retexture so it looks like I am feeding a giant Graybeard.")
  10. I am extremely excited for this! Have been waiting for something like this for awhile! Can't wait to see the first video
  11. That would be awesome! Shouting in cities would cause fear, panic and surprise rather than "I need to ask you to stop. That... shouting... is making people nervous."... convincing people to believe you're dragonborn could raise your speech skill if you're into that
  12. You hear stories all the time of celebrities being mis-identified or called fakes, because the truth you only see them on TV. Not in real-life. And that is in Modern Society! Imagine the world of Skyrim! How is it that everyone knows what the Dragonborn looks like! Well no longer! (Maybe) That's pretty much it. Just think it would be cool to not have everyone on your jock all the time.
  13. The most I've ever had was tops 50 mods... and that was plenty. While it would be nice to have that many mods, some of them aren't necessary... Do you really need http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8087/? Or http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3773/? I didn't think so.
  14. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=430994185&searchtext = Skyout Wasteland ENB http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58230/? = Empty Skyrim Have no idea how good the ENB is, but saw it pop up a little while ago. That should just about cover it, besides the questline...
  15. Sovnguarde would probably be the easiest to incorporate! That would be very cool, too. I loved Sovnguarde, but there wasn't much to do there... Seeing progress (people you know in there throughout the game) would be awesome!
  16. Hahaha, sorry, XD. I was kind of just hoping there was some trick to get decent sounding vocals without getting some professional grade mic... Thank you, for the feedback. Hopefully, I will own a basic mic and pop filter soon, though! (I'm currently learning C# so that might actually have to wait a little as to not get in the way, but wanted some input in advance) Thanks for the help! (AT2020 looks good :D)
  17. I want a mod similar to Immersive Armors, Creatures, Weapons, etc. Only, in this sense, it would add more dynamic radiant quests. Now, understand: I DONT WANT MORE FETCH THIS FETCH THAT QUESTS. I also don't want quests so special they aren't replayable. These quests would simply be things that would be believably re-done (i.e. how bandits will always form groups, drunken brawls will happen or how things will always turn up missing) for money or roleplaying (after a while you run out of quest, ya know?) So the whole goal is to make some replayable quests, with enough meat on them to not be completely lifeless. Of course, if you play the same thing over and over, it will be boring, but that is why this is necessary only with a multitude of quests! (A quest should not be titled "retrieve bow of souls from volunruud (or whatever that place is)"... )
  18. I'm very interested in voice acting, specifically for if the "Player Voicesets" mod gets the update for adding your own voices and if that goes well, I was thinking about offering services. The problem is, I don't have a mic or software... I acted all through highschool and I am very good. I am taking intro to theatre next semester, but I don't know about the technical stuff... Will a standard, built in laptop mic provide a "good enough" quality to not be annoying? Or do I have to get a professional mic? And what software do you get for recording? Thanks in advance
  19. My thing froze and I had a whole thing typed out with branches of dialogue... I'm sorry, but I lost interest in retyping, so I am just going to tell a general overview. A Nord walks in a bar and it isn't the start of a joke. "Are you Roland?" (Generic name. Better than writing player) Y/Maybe/N Do you help people? Y/Depends on what it is?/N "Well it's a matter of the soul... my brother died during battle in this damn war... do you think that this conflict is worth the death toll?" Y, because Skyrim's fate is in the balance... even at the cost of you brother's life/ Y, no matter the cost/ N, it is a decision between the lesser of two evils. "Do you believe in the afterlife?" Y, I've been there!/ Y... what is life without believing in something bigger/ N, that is why we must live life to the fullest IF YES I'VE BEEN THERE: "Oh? And did you see my brother?" Yes! He was there! (Persuade)/ Maybe... there are a lot of people in hell/ Maybe... I can't be sure If successful: "Truly? By Shor!.. you've brightened a old farmer's sprit! Thank you. Here, have a drink on me. If failure: "Are you joking? My brother's death is not something to kid about. I hope you rot in hell, you bastard!" Basically, he only gives you the sword if you are respectful, believe in the afterlife and stand strong in your belief of the war. He only poisons you if you seem to be heartless in your answers He only offers the suicide note if the player disregards him. He only attacks players family, if the player completely insults his brother. ****I'm really sorry you didn't get the whole dialogue tree. It was a lot more in depth than this.*****
  20. -Upon killing any bandit or soldier- A man approaches you asking you about your ideals and your sense of morality. He is obviously troubled and has a definite opinion on the war. After a long conversation and a few drinks nothing happens, however, depending upon your answers the man can come back later and do the following. 1) Attacks your family. (I find it odd that all these badguys attack the Dragonborn and none think to go after what he loves the most... After all, the man wants revenge) 2) Delivers a suicide note via courier to the Dragonborn, detailing his final thoughts. Hopefully making the player think twice before he goes slaughtering everything. 3) Offers you a drink, thanks you for the conversation and never returns. 4) Offers the Dragonborn a highly poisonous drink and waits for him to drink it... If you don't drink it, the man attacks you. 5) Finds you honorable and offers you his brother's sword. While his unhappy about his brother's death, he is glad it wasn't from a man with no remorse. Just to add some emotion to what seems like a lifeless war.
  21. I know, I know... why would I want that? Radiant quests are a bit dull, but I think they could be rather dashing if they just had the right "umph".. plus they would be fairly useful for a new playthrough in Requiem. So I'm just looking for a mod similar to "Interesting NPCs", "Immersive Armors", "Immersive Creatures", only in the sense that it adds a whole storefull of new quests to choose from. I prefer to buy in bulk. However, I doubt there is one quite that size as it was not easily visable. Therefore, any mod that just adds a few would be sufficient.
