  1. >implying the modding scene has been dying I'm sure a lot of modders are gonna be coming back, and Chesko's work also proves that SKSESE isn't really that needed.
  2. Pretty awesome, would definitely work as a great foundation for a New Vegas restoration once modders figure out everything.
  3. Ah, sweet. Hopefully Battlefront II gets covered as well. :3
  4. In response to post #37052375. #37052915 is also a reply to the same post. Yep having that issue with http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/48621/. Hope it gets fixed.
  5. check archive invalidation, and make sure the esps are being loaded. also, doublecheck that the paths for the loose files are there if needed. (I mean in the .ini files) CBBE works fine for me. Yeah, I did try doing the way you would enable loading loose files normally (before 1.5) but how would I do that? Also ESPs are being loaded, CBBE.esp itself does load but its files won't load. Edit: I just got things working now.
  6. Hey, I'm on the 1.5 Steam beta and I've noticed that the CBBE body, music and other non-ESP items aren't showing up for me anymore and when I try to load loose files the old fashioned way, the game crashes upon loading a save or starting a new game. Does anyone have a solution to this? Edit: By music I mean the STALKER soundtrack mod.
  7. Go for Oblivion Reloaded, that not only adds new features to the game but also increases the framerate as well. You can even disable Oblivion Reloaded features as well (I disable stay-on-target) via the INIs.
  8. Hey, I've always wanted to make a goth character with an addiction to Jet or some other chem and possibly tourettes but unfortunately thanks to Bethesda barring makeup from men; I've been unable to make said goth character. Can anybody get through this, in any way? I want to make a goth character for FO4, especially since I was kinda goth as a kid. :B
  9. We're pretty sure we all want improved dialogue system. Plus some evil gameplay and an actual final boss/climax too would be great.
  10. There are many people (myself included) who have very low expectations for Fallout 4. Same here, especially since Beth damaged their goodwill with me before w/ paid mods and ESO.
  11. -Dragon Age: Origins is awesome and moddable. -Neverwinter Nights 2 could also be up your alley but the graphics are dated and it's even moddable -(although I haven't got it yet). -Shadowrun: Dragonfall is also moddable. -Arcanum is also moddable, but I need to play more of that. XD Do keep in mind that Skyrim isn't really dead, especially since we still have free mods here.
  12. This might be right up your alley: http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/686/
  13. Looks sweet, oh and I found it on Gamer Headlines, thought you'd want to take a look: http://www.gamerheadlines.com/2015/03/fallout-new-vegas-mod-fallout-frontier-teaser-trailer-released/ And I might add this to my head-canon.
  14. If the installer isn't working, try installing it manually; that's what I do if all else fails.
  15. It'd absolutely be exciting to see that mod come to fruition, especially since it would definitely give me an incentive to import my "all questlines finished" save to Skyrim. I do wonder how the Dark Brotherhood thing would work out.
  16. I did vote yes, but I do have an idea. You know Trainwiz's Brhuce Hammar: Legacy? I'd actually love to see some more mods like that, why? Because satire is amazing, and that's what Brhuce Hammar does, not to mention that it adds an amazing companion who is probably one of the best in my opinion, especially because of the character's similarities with Deadpool and the comical storyline it has. Definitely would love mods with similar satire to Brhuce Hammar: Legacy and/or the amazing TV show South Park. EDIT BELOW Isn't this rather similar to the Dragonborn questline? With the idea that there is another Dragonborn in a different dimension, and you have to fight them? I know that your idea is more complex, and likely more interesting. However, if someone were playing the Dragonborn DLC at the same time as this, it would be kind of duplicate, though not exactly redundant. I'm not dismissing your idea, though, since it seems interesting. I'll definitely think about it. I havent played through dragonborn yet for some odd reason, so I don't know the specifics on what it's like. I thought the other dragonborn in that DLC simply rose from the dead? If not, then this idea could simply be tied into dragonborn, I mean, if one dragonborn can crawl through reality into yours, then why not more? Why can't some of them be good guys? To be honest, the main concept could still be done even if you totally remove the dragonborn and dimension jumping concept. Simply have a secret "guild" of ultra powerful warriors, mages, assassins and thieves that secretly control skyrim from under a shroud of illusion. Maybe you have to deal with these people once you complete each quest line? like, upon completing the mages guild, you learn that the real leader of the mages guild is a member of this group, and you have to either do some quests for him, or defeat him to secure your place as the real leader of the mages guild. Hmm, I should probably play dragonborn and dawnguard. I've been so busy with modding, I just keep forgetting to! ^w^;; So, a guild that's like the Illuminati? I love this idea.
  17. I am actually digging this, might have to give it a try after I beat Fallout 3.
  18. Wyre Bash is pretty useful for curbing down the limit. It allows you to merge mods together and even make leveled lists, here's the link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1840 Now you can download those mods and a whole lot more.
  19. I heard that HiAlgoBoost isn't that good, instead; I'd recommend ENBoost, sure; it's ENB-ish but it works pretty well.
  20. Create the unified patch, but leave files separate for those who don't own the DLCs.
  21. I heard that Stakado Cinemascope ENB (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15425/?) is supposed to help with performance, make sure to remove the letterboxes if you can, they look ugly.
  22. They should play well with SkyDie, avoid SkyRe and Requiem though since they'll cause tons of compatibility issues. Instead; I'd recommend SPERG, which I haven't installed but I heard that it has good compatibility with tons of other mods. I don't mind a bit either, after all; I did have Scarlet Dawn Armor and Shanoa Armor installed because well, both are cool. Wouldn't really wear them into combat in real life though. You're welcome.
  23. Quests and Lands: -ThirteenOranges's quest mods are great (check the Workshop since the author's b& from this site). They'll keep you playing for hours despite some bugs. -Anything by Trainwiz should be fun. -Falskaar's a love-or-hate thing, some have said it's fun; while others (myself included) found it to be featureless and its writing generic despite it being large and having a lot of effort put into it. -Moonpath to Elsweyr, despite being short and unfinished; is actually one I recommend. -Skyrim Sewers 4. What better way to play without sewers? None. Combat: -Duel - Combat Realism is nice. -I really recommend SkyDie - Prepare To Cry Edition, it removes fast travel and auto-health regeneration while adding new immersive features that make the game more fun to play while being hard; it's Dark Souls-like. Weapons: -Lore Weapon Expansion's great, I think it's better than Immersive Weapons. Armor: -Immersive Armors adds tons of great armor but it's 2GB so if you have a small hard drive; probably avoid that one. -Male Cleric Armor is great if you want slutty armor, it's male only; which makes it even better. Companions: -Avoid the female companion mods, most of them feature bad writing and hilariously bad dialogue. If you want a laugh though; feel free. -That out of the way; I really like Brhuce Hammar - Legacy (contains f-bombs) and Inigo, they're worthwhile companions and deserve a look. Vanilla Game Changes: -Practical Female Armors is a mod you should check out if you really think that the female armors in Vanilla Skyrim are lame, it gets rid of the cleavage and boobplates in the majority of female armors. It even works great with CBBE. Immersion: -As I said before, SkyDie. -Helmet Toggle, that is all. -Radiance adds more to Skyrim, new encounters and such. -Run For Your Lives and When Vampires Attack, this fixes everything. -No Radial Blur, removes that god-awful radial blur that AAA developers seem to think is wonderful. -No More Glowing Edges mod. Yep. -RaceMenu, you should get this anyway. -Point The Way. You'll want it. -Seasons of Skyrim Project. It allows you to either remove the snow or turn all of Skyrim into a winter wonderland. Misc: -Familiar Faces, allows your characters to interact with each other. -Pretty Face. A great face mod you should use, it's better than most face mods out there.
