  1. Im still investigating my mod list, but it seems that Violens crashes my game randomly. I deactivated it temporarily and no CTD's at all since then. Well by that I mean I played 3 hours straight with no crashes. Felt so good lol. I still quicksave like a madman though, old habits hehe
  2. Did you ever move from a higher ugridstoload, to a lower ugridstoload ? Did you try backing up your skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini then letting the game create new ones ? Did you try a brand new game with all your mods installed ? I once had a crazy glitch that disappeared by starting a new game, turns out I had some leftovers from old mods in my savegame. Later, I kept getting random CTD's, fixed by deleting my .ini's (turns out I used some premade ini.s which is a big no-no anyway, these ini's had ugridstoload at 5 and my savegame was at 7.)
  3. Oh I see, the ENBoost ? probably nothing then, but its still worth trying it ? Dont delete but just rename d3d9.dll to something else, that will 'deactivate' it. It's just trial and error, if you deactivate ENBoost and it still crashes, reactivate your ENB and look for something else. Or start a brand new game and see how long you can play without crashing. Sometimes its just a matter of having installed/uninstalled a od while playing and some script or reference is still lingering in your savegame. Quickest way that I learned not long ago, start Skyrim, while on the menu screen bring down the console and type coc riverwood (press enter.) Start from there
  4. good point but some lines HAVE to be changed, unless your a masochist :p
  5. VideoMemorySizeMb=0 wow that wasnt a very smart move Also, 2000 is also wrong.
  6. it's worth it to rename skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini and let the game build new fresh versions of these. I had random CTD's making me crazy and that was it (Actually I think I I used some guy's INI and I forgot that I was at Ugrids 7 compared to 5 in his case.)
  7. have you tried without the ENB ? (just rename d3d9.dll to something else) Have you tried renaming your skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini and letting the game create fresh ones ? (that fixed my random CTD's)
  8. Except you forgot the part about skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini. I'm at 100 mods and I was going crazy with random CTD's, turns out that it fixed itself when I deleted both files and let the game recreate them.
  9. Have you considered renaming (or moving to a different folder) your skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini files, to let the game create new ones ? I was going crazy lately from really random CTD's. Outside, Inside, after saving, after loading, in busy areas, just anywhere. Thought it had to do with my mods (I have 100 running), messed a lot with that with no success. Backed up my skyrim and skyrimprefs, let the games create new ones, I was able to play with absolute stability :) So in my case it was something in there (maybe too much shadow tweaking)
  10. Short answer is NO. It will struggle even at low settings. Also sorry to be the bearer of bad news but that i3-2370 is not 4 CPUs (sic) it is a dual core processor The CPU is below specs the memory is below specs The vidcard is below specs.
  11. remap the what now ? Isnt the default key for switching views "V" ? what happens if you scroll the wheel mouse ?
  12. I also run it very very well at 1080p, ultra with some stuff toned down (god rays, shadows) and using all the texture optimizers; on a i5-2500k, R9 280X, 8Gb RAM, very mainstream machine. 200$ new machine eh, not so much :p
  13. Cant you just scrap them ? Unless some are unscrappable, but some definitely are.
  14. lol as much as I admire this guy's wall of text, this is completely retarded. His computer obliterates yours, and his settings in those INI files definitely arent LOW. I have a machine between yours and his and I get great framerates with little compromise. People arent helping you (I guess) because if you are already on ULTRA LOW what else can be done ? There comes a point where the hardware simply isnt powerful enough. You are below recommended specs on RAM. You are way below recommended specs on that vidcard That Athlon processor, well as much as I have always liked AMD, I have switched from an AMD Phenom X3 720 (4th core unlocked) to an Intel i5-2500k, and well, AMD just arent in the game lately. Oh yes, try this : http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/978/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1769 and this : http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1400 Install them in that order, and answer YES when asked if you want to overwrite. These mods lower the video RAM usage while maintaining the same quality, but I think they also have versions with lower quality/ less memory usage. That could help a lot with that low 1.2Gb of video RAM.
  15. Hello guys, I have this issue where my workbench in Sanctuary is fuulll of junk, now since I dont have supply lines when I want to bring stuff to lets say Red Rocket and Im looking for a specific 'material' (lets say fiber optics) isnt there a way that I can have the UI show me which junk provides said material ? I know that if I mouse over an item it will show me the components, but it can get really long to go through all my inventory.
  16. Space bar if I recall correctly ? I'm at work but I think that's it. Nothing will appear, you just wait until your bar is full and then you hit space bar to "use" your critical.
  17. Thanks for sharing but that is a widely known thing :p Like Zachriel said its the enclosed stuff that works.
  18. Hmm, I guess you havent been reading the forums. For the BIG mods we need something like SKSE, and the Creation Kit. Both of which are not out yet.
  19. As per the game's description, it is to simulate the time it takes to bring the sight to your eye. Also, the heavier the weapon the longer it will take. Do you get disoriented if you blink for too long ?
  20. Radiation storms look amazing, just wanted to reiterate that fact.
  21. As I was playing last night I thought this could be swell, to be able to mark a spot on the ground and have Dogmeat stealthily crawl to that spot and drop a land mine ? What do you guys think ?
  22. Its been a while since I shopped for a new graphics card so hopefully someone with more up to date knowledge will chime in. Here I have an i5-2500k with a Radeon R9 280X video card and I still feel like it could be better. For now though I know that Nvidia cards perform better with that specific game.
  23. This computer comes with a Radeon 6450 video card, definitely NOT something you can use to play Fallout 4 at any playable framerate.
