  1. Still too dark, I seen youtubers with their colors all vivid and such, might be a bit "lore breaking", but I like a positive aura
  2. Campaign? You mean story? Well SkyWind on steam news looks like it's making progress (that one is legal), it's not out yet and you will have to follow steam news for info but that's all I know (You'll also have to own Morrowind) It will basically be Morrowind running on Skyrim's engine -- pretty cool To be honest If you want a fun quest to play; get Helgen Reborn -- awesome story! #1 quest mod too Edit: According to the rules about porting content: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/377405-porting-content-from-other-games/ It states morroblivion is no good because bethesda did not approve; but skywind is official on steam and supported by bethesda so two different ballparks; hope no rules broken here
  3. I want to change the color scheme to a more positive, vivid, happy one -- do I get a texture patch, an ENB, what? Pwease share
  4. Because in a way you are a Vampire Lord, not just a regular vampire. How many vampires do you see out during the day? Even in movies and shows -- powerful vampires could walk in the day but have some sort of weakness/drawback. Even if the character is not in Vampire Lord form, he still has the blood -- and I'm sure if the blood is as ancient and powerful as the dude told us, then the sun won't kill vampire lords but will hurt them (Like they currently do) If we were basic vampire noobs like the 100s we kill, then we'd become ash the second we fast travel  It doesn't necessarily work like that. There are different bloodlines of vampires that come from different progenitors. Each bloodline has different qualities, abilities, and drawbacks. Sanguinare Vampiris is Harkon's bloodline: the Volkihar(the strain in Skyrim). Volkihar vampires don't burn up in the sun like the Cyrodiilic vampires(Porphyric Hemophilia) they are only weakened by it. So it doesn't really matter if your pure blood or not you still won't burn up...only be weakened. Even if you're an ancient vampire like Harkon you're still vulnerable (hence the reason he's going after Auri-el's Bow in the first place. Okay so what are the advantages/drawbacks of the Skyrim vampire strain? The Volkihar vampires I was talking about in my post. That's the strain you play in game. You play the Porphyric Hemophilia vampires in the Oblivion game. Also I wouldn't think buying armored trolls from the dawnguard would be lore friendly lol...buuut then again illusion magic is all about manipulating people sooooo...idk. Making crossbow bolts and such as a vampire I think would be fine because they're just a type of weapon. I don't think they should be only for the dawnguard. In a roleplay perspective if your vampire character is willing to go out and learn the techniques...there is nothing really preventing him/her from doing so especially if they forcefully glean the information from the dawnguard muhahaha lol. SkyRe automatically adds crossbow smithing in the marksman tree and crossbow upgrades like recurve, shoot/reload faster, etc And I don't just have "crossbow", I have steel(regular "crossbow") all the way up to dragon crossbow and bolts. Also I think dawnguard is all for vampires, you can always cure/revamp yourself via a quest but vampire lord form saved me in so much situations -- yea adding the option of joining the DawnGuard is cool for RP reasons -- but I think the DLC insists on you becoming a vamp
  5. May I suggest making a super noob-friendly mod-organizer tutorial; since NMM is obsolete in my opinion. MO honestly just requires a 2 minute setup and its click download mod and click install and thats it. Also you should not just talk, you should record your screen, showing the process of what you're explaining -- also make sure a 3 year old is able to understand you. You'd be surprised how much people find it hard to install mods for skyrim.
  6. After reading some wiki, I was wondering if this would be "Lore Friendly"/not gamebreaking-op Note:
  7. Also even in my storage chest at home, the weapons slot is filled with arrows. Thanks for the help, since arrows weigh nothing -- arranging the tab by weight at least puts them on the bottom.

While it's true the game itself doesn't differentiate between the Sanguinare Vampiris you get from Harkon and that you catch randomly in the world as far as the sun is concerned, Harkon makes it clear there is a big difference, plus you get the vampire lord power. On the other hand, he is an elitist douchebag so maybe that argument isn't as compelling as I first thought  . Well the power speaks for itself, and I never contracted vampirism from the noobs -- do you get the same powers ( Say you have dawnguard but never did the quest line)? Or do you just get the passive humanoid form spells -- fire damage, sun weakness, etc.
  10. I actually like skyrim's favorite's menu -- that's not the issue. When I want to dump things to my chest or let my follower/horse hold them, there's 20 different arrows in the weapon slot. I just made 800 dragonbone arrows, the arrows I use are not an issue, but all the others are a bit annoying.

  12. Yes I googled, couldn't find anything. Is there a mod that adds a new tab to skyui to put all arrows/bolts in a separate tab and not in weapons? I have about 5 weapons and 20 different arrows and bolts in my weapons tab and it's getting pretty annoying :/ I sort my weapons by weight, so since arrows don't weigh anything they're at the bottom -- but still annoying in certain situations. Thanks friends!
  13. Ugh this just happened again, had to do the console command again. I wonder how I can find out what's causing this?
  14. Edit#2: Broke again randomly V_V Randomly my shield display keeps breaking so I have to go to console and unequip and requip everything -- getting pretty annoying. Happened once throughout a few hours of playing but still. ----------------------------------------- Edit: Fixed! Had to right click myself in console and do unequipall Re-equipped everything and all works -- ty youtube! Randomly all my shields are invisible when I equip them (I can still block but my hand is just doing the animation with no shield) Even if I change shields nothing happens. What's weird is that I have a Winterhold Buckler stuck on my back no matter what I do, even if it's not equipped :o I have no changed mods or anything since this happened :/ Here is my mod lists/load order Modlist.txt Plugins.txt I tried rerunning the Reproccer + DSR patches -- Nothing :/
  15. Well from all the movies (and science), a black light is artificial sunlight -- but moon does not really emit light; it reflects it from the sun and does not transmit the Ultraviolet rays (that burn vamps and such) Think of the moon as a wall lit up by something to the side. You don't get hurt in a dungeon, same concept. The moon does not create light! There is no moonlight! It's a reflection!
  16. well don't know much skyrim vampire lore; but that would make vampires unviable, they'll always be "burning" in all the vampire movies i've seen, the moon is not their enemy. nosferatu has a scene with a full moon behind him :o
  17. SkyRe should be an official perk system, it's just awesome sauce.
  18. Never tried, and found it a silly exploit. If OP has latest Skyrim + USP -- I guess it does.
  19. I have over 100 mods, I don't have mods that I don't want -- maybe a compatibility patch that works for plugins I don't have caused it -- but I don't mind it. Merchants still show correct values with their gold/septims and mine. On a sidenote: is there a mod that makes skyrim have the happy color scheme of oblivions? It looks so pretty on youtube! All happy and such.
  20. Ohh, this is all over youtube with console gamers showing how to get their weapons "1337zop360noscopemlg" Just did not know the name. AFAIK this is not a bug that you can't control (You don't do it, it won't happen) so it's more of an exploit. It should be fixed, but actual bugs have a bit higher priority IMO.
  21. what's this "alchemy/restoration" loop? first i've heard of it.
  22. Kind of like SKSE ^_^ I've watched enough playthroughs to know what it feels like, and I need some mods. Sleeping to level and some other things just don't feel right. Don't want to spend 25$ on a game that I won't play for long.
  23. I don't use NMM and never came across that; maybe because of SkyUI?
  24. Hi I want to get oblivion, seen a few youtube videos, and well it seems awesome. Im browsing nexus but can't find what I need :/ My first ES game was Skyrim and I need at-least these mods to have fun: SkyRe SkyUI Some sort of new perk system Hopefully Duel wielding so I can spell-blade Uncapper (Don't know much about Oblivion) *Immersive Armors/Weapons (These are awesome weapon armor PACKS, I don't download items "one by one", adding more items like those mods did would be awesome) Better world MapPlease help make my oblivion experience as smooth from years of skyrim as possible, and fun!
