Oldrim has just about everything one can possibly need. Its fate is to fall off slowly like Morrowind and Oblivion. People will always gravitate to and ride the D of the new shiny thing. Even if said new shiny thing is the exact same thing they've played for years, with a new coat of paint slathered over it and new problems of its own. Unfortunately people will continue to move as SSE pools a larger playerbase due to the consoles and the fact that they hid LE on steam, so anybody getting into this for the first time will now be presented with SSE. Bethesda WANT people on SSE. This is where the creation club, and therefore potential extra profits reside, both for Bethesda and profit-focused creation club aspirant-modders.
