  1. Thanks! I probably have mods that use other pats of AWKCR, I remember that being a requirement once.
  2. I don't seem to be able to make anything with a weaponSMITH workbench. What is it for?
  3. From a google search, it appears you have to have the robot as your companion to upgrade it in a robot workbench. Any way to upgrade the Greygarden ones? I just had Supervisor Brown die and had to use the console to resurrect him. I wanted to give him some cool weapons to defend himself next time.
  4. All I can find is auto hotkey which swaps keys about in Windows. A bit clumsy as I'd have to turn it on and off when playing the game, and I often play the game and pop out to send an email etc. I'd end up typing gibberish!
  5. That only lets you change keys used outside the workshop mode. I have these: forward back strafe left strafe right attack aim/block bash/power attack/grenade activate ready/reload pip-boy toggle pov/workshop jump sprint VATS sneak run toggle always run auto-move favourites quickload pause quick stats quick inventory quick data quick map quick radio Nothing there to change workshop controls like assign to supply line, which is currently Q, the same as my setting of sprint.
  6. I use Q to sprint. This seemed sensible at the time as it's next to W to move forwards. I'm used to it, I can't change that. But in workshop mode, Q seems to want to assign a settler to a supply line, even though I've not selected a settler, and I'm not mouseovering a settler either. Is there any way to change what key is assigned to workshop commands?
  7. I'd be surprised if nobody has done this, or maybe it isn't possible? In workshop mode, the left mouse button rotates objects right, and the right mouse button rotates objects left. Very annoying and I can't get used to it. Any way to swap this over?
  8. What's going on here? Only happens in two places in the commonwealth. Covenant, and a bridge in the far northeast. https://youtu.be/GxKsy7rUEf0
  9. Once you've broken all the precombines, you can speed it back up by scrapping. I was short of wood in a settlement, so I ran off down the road and cut down many trees. Environmentalism is not my speciality. I've also taken to buying 50 grand of guns then scrapping them all. Loads of useful stuff like steel and aluminium in there if you're doing a lot of building work. My bank balance is 6.7 million and rising so I might aswell spend some, if only that were true in real life....
  10. Yes I notice lower FPS, but not low enough to bother me. But that's Boston. The precombines seem to make no difference to me anywhere. Anyway, you can always upgrade a Beast to a Beast Pro.
  11. I have a decent machine perfectly capable of running an old game at full blast. I want to scrap EVERYTHING. Amazing how much wood I can get from forests. bUseCombinedObjects=0 is working great for me. I don't want to be running some fiddle for slow machines, it isn't a slow machine.
  12. I do use scrap everything. But I was wanting to scrap stuff outside of settlements. I've found an ini file setting, but only by reading the mod description. I'm surprised a google search didn't tell me. fallout4.ini [General] bUseCombinedObjects=0
  13. In a settlement, and about 20% of the time in the middle of nowhere, I can scrap a tree or old car. But not other times. Can I turn off precombines everywhere somehow? I have a decent system and in areas with precombines off it doesn't go slow.
  14. So I needed a lot of steel and aluminium to build my overhead pathways with turrets and streetlamps. Best way to get that on mass is buy every weapon I can from every merchant. Then.... Nobody told me weapon stations have a scrap button! I can go through them so fast! I was using the workshop to scrap them after dropping them all in a pile on the ground!
  15. I can sit, I just can't wait (although it doesn't bother to tell me like it does for sleeping). So presumably I could use a terminal.
  16. Sort settlement list alphabetically.
  17. I was told I couldn't sleep while taking radiation damage, and I wanted to wait for a shop to open. Why can't I sit and wait on a bench either? It doesn't say no, there's just no wait option. It makes sense that sleeping would be difficult when uncomfortable, but surely not sitting? If it's to stop you dying during the automated wait, well it doesn't stop you fast travelling through a radioactive area and dying.
  18. What has E to do with anything? That does nothing in the pipboy.
  19. No, I don't want to reprogram it. I just want to simply place a marker in the pipboy.
  20. How do I place a marker near a location? For example drug den is not marked. When I try to place a marker there, it goes to one of the nearest places instead.
  21. I use a lot of streetlamps in my settlements and surrounding areas. I've changed from one build anywhere mod to another, but have not uninstalled the old one. I'm now getting problems with stuff being half powered up. It's as though the game isn't recognising power stations and lights from a previous type of workshop. If I create a streetlamp from fresh with no wires connected to it, it's dark. If there isn't enough power, it glows yellow. If it's working, it's white. But I also get them white in the centre and yellow round the edge, and hovering over one in workshop mode says unpowered. These won't pass power to the next object. If I put the light into the workshop and place it again, it magically works. Is there a quicker way to fix all these rather than re-placing every single one? Missile turrets have a similar problem, in fact I have some turrets which continue to rotate and make a noise despite me removing all wires to them!
  22. Just been asked to shift some feral ghouls by Garvey. My point of contact is a cat in my settlement. It will not give me the relevant details.
  23. I have some NPCs with their head and neck slightly too small, there's a gap between the neck and the body. Any way to increase the head/neck scale in FO4Edit? [sorry, can't edit the title for some stupid reason - should say size not position]
