50m doesn't sound far. I'm thinking more of deciding where to run to across the landscape to find a group of enemies, not to find them locally once I'm there. The eagle in Assassins Creed shows things 500m away.

I've been playing Assassins Creed Origins, which has a pet eagle which I can send up in the air to locate the nearest interesting thing - someone to kill etc. There seems to be no way to do this in Fallout 4. I spend half my time wandering around in hope of something to shoot. I've already added extra enemies with mods, but half the time the landscape around me is empty. Is there a mod to find the nearest thing to do?

In case anyone else is stuck, the dll needs to be copied to c:\windows\system32 (for some reason, since it's a 64 bit one I'm using!!)

Water never becomes a non-Newtonian fluid in Fallout 4. You also decelerate from any speed to zero in a couple of metres. I suffered precisely zero damage despite wearing no armour (actually I was naked, as you do when jumping into water). Must have got quite a smack on the gonads. I have a mod which stops it saying "you can't go that way" so I can wander off into the middle of nowhere. But eventually you hit a further out edge where weird stuff happens. If you go too high as in the video, you just fall, in this case through the last ladder. If you go too far horizontally you become almost weightless and slowly drop through everything, but you can run back to the world before you fall through the earth's crust.

You don't understand. If a mod has no speech, why is there no skip function in Fallout 4? Skipping has nothing to do with if there's a voice or not. It also has an enormous pause as though we read 1 word per 2 seconds.

I want it still all around me, like a lantern, but not held on my foot.

What if there was a silent voice file in mods that have no voice acting, could you skip lines? And why does the game assume we read at the speed of a 2 year old when there's no voice acting?

The pipboy light in 3rd person shines from my feet. So unless I jump in the air, it's not very effective. I've found mods to increase the distance and the brightness, but nothing to make it come from my wrist, where the pipboy actually is.

Just fell off my chair laughing when I fell off the end of an unfinished high bridge I was constructing, and the character shouted "Ah! My leg!"

I've added mods for Raider tanks and extra large mirelurks. They get jammed inside small spaces making them very easy to kill. I can understand a mirelurk growing too big for the room he's in, but only an American could park a tank like that!

f***, I'd set the autohotkey mod to make F8 blah. I think I was trying to stop it doing something else with F8 that was annoying me since I use F7 to fix the stupid FOV and sometimes miss the key. Seriously, fornication is censored? Grow up Nexus.

It's one of my settlements. How do I mark part of a settlement as interior?

Several times I've had enemies just vanish in the middle of a fight. The dead ones and the live ones just go. No evidence of them ever having been there. Happens more often if I die then load a save in the middle of the fight, but just now they vanished while I was shooting them.

When I long press tab, the little flashlight icon always appears, but 80% of the time it doesn't light the area, I have to try several times turning it on and off. It's as though half the bulbs are busted.

Somehow, the ` key (what ever that weird symbol is supposed to be, left of the number 1) on my UK keyboard is quicksave. I can't find where to change this, or preferably disable it as I never use it).

Fallout 4 was already running. And actually someone once hacked into my work computer using Back Orifice and printed off the entire Quake manual to every laser printer in the building. So where did that blah come from? It's not a key combination I could press by accident while playing, and I think I'd remember typing blah.

Why does my console read "Script command "blah" not found"? I didn't type "blah". Has someone hacked into my computer?

Hey! My settlers are sleeping through it, yet I can't?

I just realised if you create a bowling alley in your settlement, you can play it. Pick up the ball and roll it to hit the skittles. A pity the pockets in pool don't function. And the settlers don't join in. Anything else that can actually work?
